GK one of the first positions I’d change with a mobile able bodied CB and an athletic CM battler who’s able to actually get around the pitch following shortly after.
Then we need a few wingers ,few strikers, and a FB…we need about 8/9 players to strengthen the squad to what’s going to be needed. That’s where we are at the moment !

I bet IronIronIron is a real laugh at parties. RoamingBull was being sarcastic with the free or charge comment you plank lol

I would hold off a bit until it’s actually fully done. Once due diligence is done and it’s completed, then get excited.
Not being funny but we’ve been down this road before only to be let down at the last minute. I just don’t trust Swannster. I always get the feeling there’s a nasty surprise just around the corner where he’s concerned.

Do any of you know how long will it be until it’s actually fully gone through ?
I would hold back on those tears Northumb.
Do any of you know how long will it be until it’s actually gone through ?
will the same happen next month?
People obviously won’t be paid. Swann needs to sell it and sell it fast but due to the fact he kindly signed over the land to coolsilk, he’ll be in no rush, will he ?
Not going to matter to him, if the club goes under then that’s his regardless.
So currently the truth appears to be we can’t pay wages yet this month. Which makes me think we weren’t told the whole truth last month. Now there’s a surprise!
I saw on Twitter that the wages were paid late last month. I said so on here. Despite of the rubbish the club peddled I knew I was right.
This was circulated on twitter last month but then the club doubled down on it and made out it was some kind of simple error.
Turnbull was talking out of his behind, he’s a club stooge covering Swann’s place. Money may get paid this month but if this goes another month, we’ll be going into admin.
I hope Swann lowers his asking price and get’s something for it before we completely go under. Swann’s wasted a month trying to sell to somebody with a chequered past, no doubt in a bid to recoup more money instead of doing the right thing and selling it to actual fans of the club.
Swannster’s behaviour knows no bounds.

Harry Lewis on loan as a left back but have moved him to left wing and he is doing well there
Surprise, Surprise. Everybody said he was a left winger similar with O’Malley, he’d be better on the wing as well.
Why don’t we play Poulter and some of the youths, they’re battering teams albeit at their age level but they’re scoring loads while doing it. As said Shrimpton is doing really well as well it’s bizarre.
Daws has crap at his disposal for the most part but not involving Daniel and Whitehouse is criminal. 5 at the back doesn’t work as we’re always over run in Midfield.
Daws has proven before he’s got no tactical nous and that’s coming to the forefront yet again. The blokes a dud in terms of first team management.
I’d go as far as saying he needs booting out with the rest of the crap when/if we actually get taken over. 4 at the back and stick an extra body in midfield, either Whitehouse or Pugh and go 4/3/3 or 4/3/1/2 stick Apter in behind Nuttall and Lavery, it’s not fecking rocket science.
But he’s going to give the ground back, he said so.
That’s one big whopper to add to all the other bullshit he’s come out with. Why would he ever have given us that land back when that’s what holds the real value.
Did he really expect people to believe that ?
Honestly the cheek of that bloke. Absolute piss take.
Swann’s not going to lose either way as the land he kindly signed over to his company is worth a fair amount and he get’s that even if the clubs goes bust.
All he would have to do is sell it on to developers and then he’ll trot off into the sunset.
Swann won’t be that bothered if we go under as he has assets already in his companies name. There’s no flies on Swannster.

Who reported CMC post ?. Granted the language wasn’t the best but I know where he’s coming from.
Terrible not believing in miracles, if it wasn’t for believing in miracles Hot Chocolate wouldn’t have had their hit. On a more serious note I just hope the sale goes through soon and doesn’t drag on for another 2 or 3 months, by that time we’d be beyond saving.
The squad depth is shocking.

Matt will know if it’s happening or not. He hinted on twitter it’s off by his statement.
First it was cans on a Monday ?. Now it’s changed to cans back to tesco so it’s collapsed going by that.
Not 100% though because with Matt and his cryptic clues you can never be too sure.
I’m sure it’s the younger one’s though. You tend to see the same group pictured whenever anything goes on. It appears to be the same arse holes who are up to no good.
Do they not realise that if Nuttall’s form drops off due to their bullshit we’re in deep poo poo ?
Dont you read the posts WG
No, not fully. I hardly come on here. I’ve somewhat lost the will to post.
So it’s the young one’s and the coffin dodgers on day release ?
Sounds about right.
People slagging Nuttall off need to get a grip, he’s our no 1 striker. I don’t get why certain fans are hurling abuse at him. I suspect it will be the moronic younger section of fans.

what an absolute shambles .. now staff cannot be paid
I’m not claiming that definitely is the case but read that the rumoured 250k is needed to pay all staff, now whether that is true is another thing all together but what Swann said the other day kind of backs that up.
Swann says he hopes to conclude a deal soon as “the club needs investment”.
Is the supposed 250k needed the investment Swann said the club needs ?
The club has needed investment for quite some time so why come out and say it now ?
Then you have this about money being owed to the kit supplier. No wonder Swannster will want a deal done ASAP.
1 user thanked author for this post.
From what I’ve read on line the 250k we need to find is not only for player wages but is also for staff wages. I read that if we don’t stump up the money, non of the staff are paid.
It came across as ALL STAFF, including players.
Whatever is happening behind the scenes, I hope a deal is done soon.
Is that really fair, WG – the lad’s been at the club for years?
Yes, it’s fair. What do you want to do exactly, give him another 2yr contract and have him take a wage and a squad place up despite spending 80% of the time in the treatment room ?
Look, I feel for him. This has to end somewhere though surely ?

We need a GOOD manager
I know. I covered all bases by including experienced and young talented managers.
Any way moving on to this new potential sale of the club. If rumours are to be believed and we do need to find 250k as a club in the near future to stave of going into administration, has that made Swann more realistic in terms of what he’s looking to get for the club ?
If Swann still kept playing hardball and sat on a clearly rotting club and let it go into administration, would he then get less for it ?
I’m not sure how it all works but it would make sense.
Swann said that he hopes to conclude a deal soon as “the club needs investment”. I wonder whether the “club needs investment” comment was referring to the 250k the club supposedly needs to stave off administration ?
Maybe he takes what he can now before that eventuality becomes a reality. Dawned on Swannster that he either takes what he can now or potentially get’s a mere fraction once the club fully goes to shite.
Hallam needs binning off A.S.A.P. I’m Sure he’s a top lad but he’s never fit and we can Ill afford to carry passengers.
1 user thanked author for this post.
or, will they stick with Daws?
I hope not !. Daws is ok but we need an experienced “or young talented manager” who knows the national league through and through. Perm manager is the way to go for stability.

This is from twitter’s Matt Ellis
Understand it’s at advanced stages with 2 groups. Hope to complete by the weekend.
To clarify: 2 separate groups.Peter Swann tells Iron Bru a deal to sell #SUFC is “as close as it has ever been”. Understand two consortiums are still at the negotiating table. Deal not done. Very fluid situation. Swann says he hopes to conclude a deal soon as “the club needs investment”.
Dare we dream of Swann pissing off ?

Whitehouse doesn’t get around the pitch that well and has suffered a lot of injuries of late. Not sure he has the kind of mobility we’re going to need.
Didn’t Pugh top the tackles chart in league 2 for a while ?. I don’t really rate him that high but he get’s around the pitch well and likes a tackle ” A tackle as in a footballing tackle, not a man sausage ”
Shite at passing but does the ugly side well. Gallimore is talented and will probably become the better player but I’d go for Pugh for now if we did decide to play a midfield spoiler.
We have a spoiler in Pugh, he’s limited but he does break up play pretty well but with this system he simply doesn’t fit in. In my opinion we need to subtract a defender and add Pugh in midfield as the spoiler, least he’ll be able to offer some kind of resistance.
Nthle can go LB, Ogle RB and fingers crossed Boyce is ok and he’ll go with Taft but I don’t really rate him or Dewhurst but it’s the best we’ve got.
We need somebody in midfield who can break up play though. That’s a certainty.
1 user thanked author for this post.
I like Beestin “getting back to something like his best” and Butterfield is classy but as mentioned above, neither are exactly defensive. We need Pugh or somebody defensive in there and go for a 3 in CM.
I’d go with a flat back 4 Nthle LB, Ogle RB and just hope to god Boyce is ok. Dewhurst is a worry but we all knew this could be the case. O’Malley did his customary walkabouts again, still say he’s a LW playing at FB.
Such a shame as where dynamite going forward but are dog mess at the back. In my opinion we definitely need to sure it up a and play Pugh as the sitter in midfield. If we keep going the way we are we’re going to have to score 4 every other game to have a chance of winning.
Is he going or not then ?
What the hell is actually going on ?
Maguire did well by his standards he passed the ball to the opposition and then tripped him up giving away a penalty. Only did it one though mind !
Southgate needs binning off.
