Let’s keep it in perspective
Best striker at the club going by that performance, is not me saying he’s going to score every game going and we’ll race up the league.
I don’t know what you’re reading Northumb lol
No. Are you ?

If Lavery stays fit he’ll start, simple as. Best striker at the club going by that performance.
We may need another striker as well now. Definitely need a CB though, we have done for ages.
Fully fit now and played 90 minutes for Scarborough and trained fully with us inbetween. Pugh was sloppy at times but would add more than Gallimore and Flecther looks ok but at this level, a large part of it is being able to compete and Pugh does that well.
As long as he keeps it simple and let’s Butterfield spray the ball around, it would probably work quite well.
Lavery looked really good, especially at this level.
Only problem is Marsh is now crocked so we’re down to 2 viable strikers again.
Beestin’s not really been at it now for quite a while. Ever since he was diagnosed with long covid he hasn’t been the same player. I know this may seem odd but we may be better off starting Pugh for Beestin. Beestin is the better footballer of the two but Pugh would add that steel we need.
As said above Butterfield best work comes higher up the pitch and he’s not the most athletic of players at the best of times, he comes into his own when attacking.
Pugh’s a bit sloppy at times but one thing you do get from him is 100% effort and he covers every blade of grass. One thing you do notice is that most CM’s at this level lack a little bit of quality but they all tend to cover the pitch really well and Pugh is a player of that ilk.
Latest statement from Lee Turnbull states that administration is not an option and Mr Swann will continue to support the club until new owners are found.
Turnbull is only parroting what Swann has told him and we all know Swannster can’t even lie straight in bed. If administration makes the takeover process easier, he’ll go down that route in a bid to recoup some money and plus we have to pay the lying arse hole rent due to coolsilk owing the ground.
The brass neck Swann has on him, I wouldn’t put anything past him.

I wonder if Renee.Artois is a creation of badapple lol. The “character” is as corny as humanly possible. This caper has badapple’s finger prints all over it.
First and foremost I wish we’d get a few defenders in with one being a CB. Apter needs to be starting every game, as does Feeney. I would play Apter wide and see how Marsh and Nuttall fair upfront.
Beestin made a difference as well the other night, we need to start playing our best players and consistently pick them.
Remember well,wonder_goals saying he was rubbish after his debut for us
Not only me said that, his first 2 or 3 games we’re very ordinary. Obviously he improved and showed everybody just what talent he had.
Pele does make me laugh, he always comes out of hiding to have his customary dig lol
Bravo pele, you never fail to disappoint, you’re consistent if nothing else.
Fletcher & Marsh were replaced by Beestin & Feeney earlier, the O’Malley for Apter substitution was the strange decision – yes he could have had a knock but he didn’t look as though he had
Apter was fine, it was purely a footballing decision. Unfortunately for Daws and us it was an extremely bad one !
Daws brought Apter off and Mason on to win the game. That’s what he told somebody at the game. Editor Matt heard him !
To have somebody at the club with such a questionable understanding of the game is just not good enough. I remember last time he was in charge, he was dodgy then as well.

The coaching staff are clearly part of the problem and if we do ever get to have a clean out, everybody apart from Turnbull needs to go. The decision last night just further highlights that all staff at our club are equally to blame.
That was ridiculous.

extra week
Could you imagine what damage they could do to themselves, even in a free week ?
The pair of those could probably dislocate their shoulders getting a bottle of Tomato Sauce out of the fridge. Their hanging on by a thread lol

Only problem is if the club go into administration, Swann still keeps the ground and land so we would still have to pay him to rent it from him, also will have to buy it from coolsilk if we were ever going to own it outright.
There are no good out comes to this, besides Swann selling us on. I can’t see that happening.

Wasn’t Camilla was knocking off Prince Charles when he was with Princess Diana ?
She’s a dark horse she is, don’t be fooled !
Rumours flying around that end of this month Swann is pulling funding, so if they have any truth to them we’ll be in administration before long.
If we don’t go under and Swann doesn’t keep the land he signed over to himself, I’ll be the most surprised man on earth.

The thing which I find strange is that the first prospective buyer lodges a bid which was accepted, which results in him going and passing the proper and fit persons test at the FA.
Proof of funding would surely have been provided before even going that far down the line with them ?
I find it all a bit hard to believe.

Humberside have tried to set something up to get clarification on any potential deal and he’s nowhere to be seen. They clearly can’t get hold of him.
It appears he’s gone into hiding. Swannster has probably locked himself inside his crystal encrusted panic room !
September 6, 2022 at 1:50 pm in reply to: The Silverlake Spitfires to Gun Down the Scun at Ten Acres? #244576Why should we expect anything different?
We can’t defend and we’re light up front. I say that’s a pretty bad mix. In fact, we’re light in several areas. I expect another defeat, you’d be an idiot not to think that.
Any team with Taft at the heart of defence is going to struggle.

Swann must be living in some alternate reality. He can’t keep choosing to hide away, surely ?
Read these tweets. https://twitter.com/kieranmaguire/status/1385324321342697475?lang=en-GB
Well done awaywego & renee. Fine contributions there chaps. You’ll be giving 64 fits lol
Not sure what Mr Swann gains by not selling the club.
Don’t forget as it stands he owns the land, if the club go under all that stays his. How much would he then be able to sell it on for ?. I would say a fair amount.

just that awkward?
Knowing what Swann is like, I would say he’ll be after every penny he can get and most likely won’t budge an inch. I suspect that Swann will let us go under before he does any kind of deal where he feels short changed.

so his economics must be off
Yes, like most other things. Swannster is a walking car crash.

Fenty didn’t run up debts at Grimsby like Swann has here, no where even close. What Swann has done here is an absolute piss take.
