We won’t get another point so it could all come down to GD.We currently have a far superior GD to Southend and Grimsby but a couple of big losses could soon reduce it.
    Squeaky bum time.

Debt gone, ground gone, sounds a good deal for the Swanns.

The chief scout could do worse than scouting at Brumby Hall, Bottesford Town, Brigg, and Winterton Rangers we would finish up with a more committed group of players than this lot. We’ve had a few decent players from these teams although not for many years, probably got something to do with agents been involved.
No need for “draaaaaw tickets” to keep tripping up to Jockland scouting.

Does Cox know what he is doing.
    Shots on Target ZERO
10 goals conceded in last three games

    Quotes from Tom Newy –
KVV passenger, kicked the ball twice.
    Players just not good enough.

This lot are a disgrace, many of them clearly don’t want to be here, Cox knows who they are and he needs to bin them for the last four games and publicly embarrass them by playing the youths. The Prawn must be seething having to pay wages to these wasters.

I don’t think we are mathematically safe yet but looking at the fixtures of teams below us I can’t see how we would finish in the bottom two, it could be close and as IA says we could easily finish 22nd.

If the prawns objective was to stay in the league at minimum cost in this nothing of a season then he will just about succeed unlike the Cods who’s low cost approach looks like failing.

The concern will then be next year as the long term outcome for a low cost approach is failure.

Lots needs to change for next season, and I am not convinced about Cox, he talks a good game but that’s about all, maybe next season with different tools things may be different.

It will be interesting to see how Cox reacts after Tuesday, he needs to drop the wasters and get some of the young lads in who actually want to play.

I hope those who let the side down badly on Tues have been fined accordingly.

It sou ded like they were sent videos to watch and didn’t AND it wasn’t the first time it’s happened, seems they didn’t know club can see if they looked at them.
Seems like some of them really aren’t that intelligent

    Cox’s interview was interesting-
acknowledged some of the players aren’t good enough (a lot of us have known that for a long time now).

Also said several players didn’t do their “homework” match prep which cost goals(let’s hope those players get their wages docked).

    There’s clearly something amiss.

It will be interesting to see what BS Cox comes out with tonight to explain that pile of crap.
Despite been dealt a bad hand Cox is out of his depth.

The thing that struck me was that PS was less convincing than previously that we wouldn’t get relegated !
It’s good he has kept the club afloat but his interview was a poor marketing effort, and his response to Whitton Iron was a real faux pas.

Absolute, it’s just Cox doesn’t seem to realise things aren’t working.

He does have a tough job but really isn’t helping himself.

    WHY?
It would be a sterile affair with predictable scripted answers, so absolutely no point.

CT, the quote was attributed to Einstein, –

    About sums Cox up.

    Brookie, an absolute top guy.

When I used to go to GP regular I used to sit in row G in the Gluggy stand and Brookie was always there in Row F, he was always friendly, and always offered an opinion on the football, he was a true Iron fan.
He was a really nice and genuine person.

It is a sad loss to lose him.

    RIP Alan.

Best team required, exciting attacking football from the start.
Something to inspire us and create expectation for next season.
Will we get any of it, highly doubtful.

Mike and Tom are really good, Hullberside have finally found a satisfactory replacement for George.
I’ve listened to the last couple of Cods game and Tondeur is absolutely shocking it’s just unbelievable how poor he is.

Another shocker at home, not really the sort of stuff to encourage people back or to buy season tickets.
If we don’t get a bit more excitement I can’t see Cox been still been here at Christmas, does he realise to win games you need to score goals.

Unfortunately I can’t see us winning as we don’t seem to be able to score many goals at present, but I have been wrong before.

Some of them are crap and don’t have the required skill set others just can’t be bothered and some are both however I think all of them will get quite a shock when contracts are due as they will be either out the door or due to the effects of covid offered much less money. I’m sure there will be many players looking for new clubs come the end of the season and some of our players will struggle to find a national league club, if they do have the skills now is the time they should be show casing them. It seems the way some of them are performing at present that they don’t realize what’s coming down the line!
