There are Hilton supporters, Hilton sceptics and seriously anti-Hiltoners. Probably around a 48/48/4% split based on what I read, but the smallest group seem to want Hilton to fail so desperately they take every opportunity to undermine his ownership. I completely understand the positions of the two larger groups, the third must have their reasons but they don’t seem to be football related.
REMEMBER – we still have a club, unity not division is what we need.

Good post, I’m firmly in the sceptic group with good reason.
The abuse ALWAYS comes from the Hilton lovers when ever they see a post that questions what is going on at our club.
Eventually we sceptics are surely allowed to fight back.

Despite the unwarranted abuse from Iron-Bore I can confirm that for the 6th month since our current owner took over the club, the wages did NOT land in employees bank accounts overnight as they should do.
However, I’m assured the owner is attempting to rectify it manually today ……… just as he has since he got here.
I wonder what this months excuse will be.

So have they not been paid for six months 🤔 I’m guessing not, if they hadn’t received any money for six months then there would be great cause for concern. I just feel people drum up shite for the sake of it, if there is a reason for any delay in wages then it obviously needs sorting but till people stop getting paid then it’s not the end of anyone’s world I’m guessing. Have the staff all left because of this issue, I’m sure if they had certain individuals would be 💩 themselves to get on here and tell us.

You really aren’t very bright are you!
The wages have not landed in employees wages on time in the 6 paydays he’s been here.
You’re another one of these thicko’s that reads something but sees something completely different.
Everybody else understood, it seems just you didn’t but I would expect nothing less from a fool like you Iron-Bore.
You should stick to posting those humorous comments, the ones that only you find amusing, your attempts at sarcasm and humour on here are pathetic, a 5 year old could do better.

Word is, Iron Insider is correct to have started this thread.

Ah yes the world famous ” word is ” presented as usual without a shred of evidence, so it’s bound to be correct. SNOT off.

“the Word” came from an employee Iron-Bore.
You really are a strange character, you only post snidely comments about anyone on here who appears to know more than you do.

Evidently Scunthorpe (not utd) are having a pride event, sick of it already rainbow flags and wears all over in the market I hope it pisses down on their parade.

Finally, a post from Awaywego that I’m 100% behind.

Yes ban over, driving his own top of the range …Range Rover, but still looking for a couple of people to thump…
Thanks for the laugh… you have made my day

You think that drinking and driving and assaulting an emergency worker is something to laugh about?
Thank you for clarifying what sort of “man” you and your son are.

This Patrick character spends more time on this forum making out the sun shines out of his sons backside.
Tell me old man, do you drive your son about or is his driving ban up?
Has he finished carrying out his punishment for assaulting an emergency worker?

If Hilton had paid Swann’s price for land and stadium and sold every 1899 club membership he would still be out by a 7 figure sum.

You have made your point you don’t like Hilton but at least try and justify it with facts instead of bullshit.

    Agreed a price of £3 million, tried to raise 1899x£1899 = £3,606,201.
Wher is the 7 figure shortfall?…… Idiot

How could a quick profit have ever been made from the state we was/are in?

    The 1899 club.

I don’t and never have trusted Swann.
I don’t and never have trusted Hilton.
In my opinion Hilton came to Scunthorpe for one purpose only and that was to make a quick profit.

Unfortunately it didn’t work out like that and he’s dug himself deeper and deeper spending money he doesn’t have so has resorted to a wannabe spiv.
It’s all going to end in tears.

The worrying thing for me is that Hilton’s next surname change will be to Freeman and his Christian name to Nick.
I already think he thinks he is him.

“ The owner of an asset of community value must inform the local authority if they wish to sell the asset. If a qualifying community group wants to buy the asset, they can trigger a moratorium for six months, to give them a chance to raise the money to purchase the asset. The owner does not have to sell to a community group. The asset of community value listing only improves the chances of community groups being able to purchase by providing more time to raise funds. It does not require the owner to sell at a discount.”

I would assume GP is no longer subject to an ACV.

The majority of the posters on this forum should be old enough to know there are two sides to every story.
Swann and Hilton, one is shouting the odds via social media to anyone who’ll listen, the other is keeping quiet which is the way it should be.
Anyone naive enough to believe the one who shouts loudest is the one that’s in the right will be brought down to earth with a bump IMO.
I don’t know how this court case will go, neither do any posters on this forum, on Facebook or Twitter, there’s far too many armchair lawyers and despite many of them claiming to know the law, none of them know the details of the deal that was agreed in January.
They only know what the two parties have publicly disclosed so one of them is a liar.
The judge and lawyers will sift through it and a decision will be made, either way it’s to the detriment of Scunthorpe United and it’s supporters.

Well this is how far Scunthorpe United have sunk.
A burger flipping snack van owner on an industrial estate on a Derbyshire backwater is advising us on how to run our clubs catering.

Some of the members of the cult of Dave are having their judgement clouded.
Judges only deal with the law, not what’s best for football supporters.
As for Mr Loophole, I can’t imagine any judge will be swayed by his tactics.
As much as none of us want the outcome, I don’t see anything other than Swann coming out of this absolute debacle on top.

    Supposedly within weeks in Leeds.
According to Mr Loophole in the non league paper he’s convinced he’ll win and will see the next season out at GP.
I’m not convinced but then I’m not a high court judge.

I would not concern yourself too much with the catering at Glandford Park, you are very unlikely to ever cross paths with it, as you do not attend games as you are not a supporter of Scunthorpe United!… a supporter attends games, pays at the turnstile to support the club and spends a few quid in there on food and beers.. you don’t contribute one penny!… you are a fan Mr Deereyme.. not a supporter.. unlike some of the people you slag of, who pay good money to follow the Iron.
Just hope you don’t decide to follow Ilkeston with your financial contribution, we wouldn’t be able to buy a corner flag with it! Stop all your crap posts to cause unrest among genuine fans… and give everyone a break from your negative posts day in day out!
Take a holiday somewhere away from your keyboard!

Congratulations, you managed 3 days this time with your last flounce, stating you weren’t logging in again.
At least this time you didn’t start telling how wonderful your son is and how wonderful Ilkeston is.
I have no interest in anything you have to say, you’re only aim on this forum is to divide the fan base you absolute weapon!

Clappers Facebook is full of posters from Bru, not just his posts he answers the questions as well, Bru member asking question on the drinking in the ground and answered very positively, another asking about opening bar in the main stand and he said he’ll have a look. The only promise I’ve seen him make is with the catering.

“ Facebook is full of posters from Bru”, that is massive exaggeration, no it’s not!
“the only promise I’ve seen him make is with the catering”, really?
Are you conveniently forgetting promises about a new stadium being built by May 2025?
Are you forgetting about the promise that he’d bought GP and the surrounding land?
Have you forgot about him promising that the academy would not be scrapped?
    You have memory problems.

An extremely informative post by Hilton on the Clappers Facebook, I’d like to congratulate him on it.
He really seems to be the answer to everything that’s been going wrong since Swann lost interest in the club.
Words are cheap though, we’ve heard it all before!
If he carries through with “ALL”the promises he’s made since arriving I promise to come back on here to hold my hands up and worship him like the clappers on Facebook do.
I must first point out that so far none of those promises have come to fruition.

No access to seats or facilities through the director’s box anymore only in emergencies.

As I understand it there’s an unregistered strip of floor in the entrance but Mr Loophole is consulting with his lawyers to ensure a discount on the price of the stadium.
Until then, signs are to be printed on A4 sheets and sellotaped to the doors warning it’s illegal to trespass according to some law he’s dreaming up.

Why these attention seekers post this stuff on the internet baffles me.
Also, why anyone over the age of 16, especially guys with a fat beer gut think it’s acceptable to wear a football shirt is beyond comprehension.

I’ve not witnessed anyone on here that would rather we become a phoenix club, I certainly don’t want that outcome although if I’m honest I think that’s what will eventually happen.
I can’t possibly see a judge ruling in favour of Mr Loophole and anyone who thinks there’ll be a new stadium on Glebe road in less than 2 years is deluded.
Wether Swann can be convinced to rent GP to the club whilst he tries to sell it once he’s regained possession would be beneficial to both sides, but I don’t see that happening either.
To ground share would be disastrous to the club, nearly 1400 season ticket holders wouldn’t all be able to travel and non season ticket holders wouldn’t go out of their way to either.
Smaller gates and renting of an alternative stadium wouldn’t be financially viable leading to the inevitable walking away of Mr Loophole.
