You do get the permanently online Tankies on Twitter, who tend to be young. However, they are still a minority and communist party ranks haven’t exactly swelled.

The problem is, BPG sees Boris Johnson and anyone to the left of him as communist, so enemies are everywhere! :-)

Alcazar may have been right in that Swann was a wrong ‘un, but he was sceptical that getting a new owner would be difficult. On that aspect, it looks like he was wrong. :-)

Notts County may scoff at that, being the former oldest league club and in the top division the season before the Premier League rebranding.

Club size has a lot of subjectivity to it, but given our long stint in the league I think we can say we’re a fair sized club for the division. I never claimed we’re too big for it, no club is for that matter, but we’re bigger than more than half going on history. We’d probably be around 7th or 8th biggest, if taking into account history and pedigree of clubs in the division.

However, I would stress this means little.

Any fan from any club would be cheesed off if they couldn’t get in with legitimate tickets. :-) I don’t think what happened would have been different with other clubs.

Well, their chairman has denied they’re making a complaint and are wanting to clarify the rules. I think they threw a paddy, realised they have no leg to stand on and have tried to save face. Bunch of sore losers. :-)

Why should he agree to have his contract torn up? No one forced him to sign it, he’s entitled to his income if he’s not in breach of his contract.

Where did I say he should have agreed to have the contract torn up? :-) It’s not his fault the club offered him a long contract. Contracts shouldn’t be able to be torn up like that without a care.

It may be that some of these players are deemed not good enough or possessing attitude problems, so Hill doesn’t play them, but we can’t do anything about the contracts.

I believe Taft and Millen are injured. Also, if they refuse to have their contracts torn up, in a way KDT did, we haven’t got much choice. :-)

We have had players with rotten attitudes prior to Hill too. We have had them for a few years now. Even during better times there would be fallings out over contracts. I wonder who is responsible for this and bringing in these toxic players.

I have sympathy with the Cobblers, but they are still a stable club with a hope of promotion. I am more worried about our future. If we use youth we will be destroyed again next season.

To be honest, I doubt it. People were saying similar about Slocombe after he left, who is and was a better goalkeeper, and he has not consistently held a spot for any league club since.
