All the goals scored and conceded by the Iron from every game this season.
A minutes footage (build up & celebration) per goal and it’ll probably be about 2 hours long.
£10 per DVD
£10 x 1,000 = £10kUTI.
I watched the first half of Tamworth v Boston and it was poor.
I didn’t bother with the second half – I watched a movie.
Alfreton are my dark horse.Alfreton 3-2 winners at Southport today.
The shortest score-cast prices for Saturday’s game:
1-1… 5/1
0-1… 7/1
1-2… 15/2Clean sheet for us stops them from scoring for the 10th game on the bounce.
Good enough.
Well done boys.

I’ve being out all day.
Literally got in a few minutes ago and turned the TV on… I managed to get the last two minutes lol.
Great result for football.
We need more results like this!
I’ll watch it later on iplayer.
Bravo! Well done Maidstone!
Just seen the goals.
Two good strikes.

Some might say that this is too ‘intrusive’ and would be a hindrance on match days.
Ranting & raving and ‘information’ can be heard being transmitted from the dug outs in every game – what we never see or hear is the private discussions in the changing room.A pre-event meeting between the Fan and the Club Secretary could be used to discuss the day and a code of conduct and other guidelines to be reviewed and agreed to.
What an experience!
The closest you’ll ever get to ‘living the dream’You want me to pay a grand to spend all that time with Dean??
Pay a grand to ensure he stops in pboro today and doesn’t come back…
Short trip for him today.
Agh, just looked it up. lol.
http://www.scunthorpeunited-cset.co.uk/tag/walking-football/
Shame it’s not run by the club though.
Popular with us older guys.
But, because it’s walking, it could be an open age tournament.Have the Iron got a walking football team? Apparently there is a lot of money to be made by letting a load of old gits dodder all over the pitch, and it can get competitive.
Just a thought. UTBI
It was one of my other thoughts.
Walking 7 a side Tournament
16 teams
4 leagues of 4 teams
Top team from each league go through to semi-final
10 members per team
£10 entry per player
£10 x 10 x 16 = £1,600
Run it monthly sept to JuneWinners name goes on the trophy which they bring to defend at the next tournament.
10 x £1,600 = £16k
Players Payback
Some might say that it’s all expense for the Fans and ask “what contribution (other than playing) have the players made to help out the Club?”
It’s a nice job, good conditions, good pay, good work/home balance… you often hear it said “I’d play for nothing”
What a great idea!
How about the players forfeit their wages Easter week.
It wouldn’t get more symbolic than that!
Jesus resurrected.
SUFC resurrected.24 x £1,000 = £24k
24 (I’ve no idea of the actual size of the squad) x £1,000 (no idea of the average wage either).
Breathe LIFE in to the Club and keep yourself in a job you LOVE next season.
LIVE the dream!Live, Love, Life.
Live, Love, SUFCUTI.
Well done to the Smoking Goat man who supplied the pie and peas for the night free of charge.
Bravo!

UTI.Legends game.
I read a few weeks ago that on average, we take about £50k in gate receipts for a game?
Once the seasons finished, how about a Legends fundraiser the week after the concluding league / play off game?
Iron Claret Legends v Iron Blue Legends
12 claret legends and 12 blue legends.
6 legends play the first half for each team and the second set of 6 legends play the second half for each team.10 fans play for the clarets and 10 fans play for the blues.
The first set of 5 fans play the first half for each team, the second set of 5 fans plays the second half for each team.Claret team = 6 legends & 5 fans
Blue team = 6 legends & 5 fansFor £500, twenty fans get to pull on the claret & blue of Scunthorpe United FC, get changed in the changing rooms with their heroes of yesteryear and to actually play 45 minutes in a game with and against their idols!
20 x £500 = £10,000
2,000 (attendance)(a guess) x £15 = £30,000
Program, food, drinks = £20k (guess)
Sponsorship (annual Legends Trophy) = £5k (another guess)Total revenue = £65k
If match day staff volunteered their labour, then this minimises the costs and maximises the funds raised.
Just an idea. It might be a load of tosh or it could be a good opportunity?
LT would be a perfect match-day commentator over the PA.

Legends Shirt Signing
Perhaps held in the Exec Bar a couple of hours before kick off.
A 30 minute to an hour shirt signing session where fans can bring their favourite SUFC shirt and have one, more or all of their heroes playing that day sign their shirt.£50 x 100 (a guess) = £5K
20 Legends signatures for £50 = £2.50 per signature. Bargain!
Scorecast Predictions:
IFA: 2-3… @ 25/1
AFUF: 1-3… @ 14/1
RA: 1-2… @ 15/2I’ll have a stab at the attendance.
Att: 1,171David Symington (age 30 on Jan 28th), Warrington Rylands 20 goals. Warrington have played 26 league games so far this season in the Northern Premier League – Premier Division.

It’s most likely a quality control measure?
The quality of the images from some clubs is poor, others have the camera located in a position which on occasions gives a terrible view or part of the pitch isn’t visible. Other times, there is no commentary or commentary by someone speaking worzelese.
My guess is that they’ll televise the more professional outfits? He’s on his bike apparently – peloton must pay well.
The (Matt) Sadler in the saddle at the Saddlers fancied some Jelli(s).
