Halloween did indeed come late this year.

    He’ll still be here.

6,464 was the average attendance in the Championship in 2009-10

4,038 was the average attendance in NLN in season 2023-24

On average, an additional 2,426 people watched SUFC playing four divisions higher.

Is it better to be a big fish in a small pond or…

What are the pros & cons of regaining league status?

Would we be sustainable in L2?

Whilst attendances remain at 4,000 is it economically more viable remaining at the level we are?

Do the Board want promotion or are they more than happy to consolidate for a number of years in order to ensure the club is on sound financial foundations?

It’s all a bit of a soap opera

The last time that they scored more than 1 goal in the league other than against Farsley was on 3rd September…

    Radcliffe 2-4 Spennymoor.

They’ll likely score their usual goal and we should notch one too

I think he’ll be playing a few divisions higher shortly. National exposure now.

    Holy Blues Batman!

Trinity come from 3-0 down to finish full-time 3-3 and extra time 4-4. Then win 5-4 on penalties. Some game!

    Plus another brace for Howe.

    Bloody hell !
I stopped listening when they went 3-0 down!

    Sounds like we’re struggling?
This is not what I was expecting.
    So, what’s gone wrong?
I can’t even drown my ‘sorrows’ watching Hércules tonight as that’s postponed due to the storms / torrential rain / floods in south east Spain.

    Callum Robert’s Wiki [ Click Here ]

Anyone else think a club higher up the pyramid will come and pluck him from obscurity?
Played and scored in the Prem for Newcastle (wiki page ain’t accurate with his appearances) and was an England U20 international.
    Our best player?

AKA – The Cal Robert’s Show!

Best strike – C… the free kick
Best goal – the Pepball goal B

Nice little promo piece for flogging him?

I’ll be voting for Goal B against Rushall.

    3rd v 2nd tomorrow.
If KLT secure a win at Victory Park then I’m sure we’ll see them progress and become a real threat this season.

The feel good factor following their promotion has deserted the palmy pack and 8 games in to the season attendances have dropped 26% from the opening day.

Radcliffe are playing at their highest ever level.
Scunthorpe are playing at our lowest ever level.

There will be difficult games this season. This is not one of them.
We need to go in to these sort of games full of confidence & positivity.

Yes, high scoring games are a rarity these days… but when the opportunity arises, we must take it.

Buxton notched 7 against Needham Market. The highest number of goals scored in a single game by a team in this league this season. It’s a target.

3-0 is a very common score line in this league.
I’d expect us to dispatch Radcliffe by the same.
I’m hoping that we assert and win by a bigger margin.

    5pm Saturday and we’ll know.
    UTI.
