Trust notes state that in future, the players will be on 44 week contracts (beginning of July to end April)
Fruit picking in (insert country) during May & June?
He’s (Whitehall) a goal scorer.
Banjo Beck isn’t.
When Whitehall & Roberts move on, who’s going to score for us?29 goals between them so far this season I believe?
I’d scrap appearance money.
Introduce mini league bonuses.
Each month is a mini league season.
Finish top of the mini league each month and pay each player in the squad a bonus.
Creates a team.
Under the present system those not on the pitch are ‘outsiders’.
It’s a team & squad game and there is strength in numbers.
Stupid ‘appearance money’ substitutions would be eliminated under this system.
How many times do substitutions backfire and cost points or momentum in a game.
It’s just an idea. All for one, one for all !
Tuesday is now super Tuesday , crazy fixtures as all the top teams play each other ..
Scunny v Curzon
Chester v Kiddy
Chorley v BrackleyIt’s the share & share alike league.

The commentary dropped out a couple of times in the first half and they switched to the GTFC game in the second half.
I listened to the entire 2nd half on the Warrington feed.
They do make it hard work!Tuesday is our happy hour and we’ll sink our (g)nashers in Curzon.
They’ve only won 2 of their last 10 games across all competitions.
Iron 2-0 Nash
Whitehall & Roberts
Att: 3,456The first three points in the bank.

We need to start believing in ourselves and go for it.

Carisle Utd raising the bar naming Mark Hughes as new manager.
Sounds as if they’d already lined Hughes up? I’m guessing he’d have being consulted on the 11 deadline beating newbies? The American owners are aware of the importance of staying in the EFL and have rolled the dice.
No, I believe Warrington are dire.
I’m going to go with the 0-3!Or is it Woerrington?
Last time they scored more than 1 goal in a game was October 21st. A 2-2 draw.
The most they’ve scored in a game this season is two goals – which has occurred 4 times. They’ve failed to score in 11 of their games.A solitary goal scored in 16 of their games.Just 2 goals scored in the last six games.
Warrington 0-3 Scunthorpe
Possibly even 0-4.Remember this Rene?

They failed to score in 3 of their last 5 and in 4 of their last 6 games.”But only took 5 minutes against us!!
So true :-(
Hercules 2-2 Yeclano
A disappointing draw.
0-1 down at half time.
A Nico Espinosa brace put us 2-1 up… but with just 2 minutes of the 90 to go – they equalised
6 minutes of ‘injury’ time – but it finished 2-2.Ideally, we could have done with a game yesterday to keep the run going.
I have no answers.
I don’t expect to see us return to the EFL in my remaining lifetime – approximately 15 years. How do you know when you’re going to expire ?
Genetics.
Age of death of father, grandfather, great grandfather. Was bound to happen, if you want top notch performances week in week out from a National League North team your in for a long wait, I’m just happy with the final outcome of all three games which is the priority IMO.
Winning is grinning!
Without a mega millionaire / billionaire backer, then the options are limited.
1) run up debts and go bust
2) income – costs = break evenSo, we ain’t an attractive proposition to an egotistical owner as we don’t have the fanbase & catchment area. A philanthropic owner… Dear Mr Gates.
Currently, the only option is to sell anything of value, cut playing staff, coaching staff and office staff to a minimum. Pay as little as possible. Try to cover stewarding, catering (kiosks) with eager willing fan(volun)teers.
The future ain’t looking rosy.SOS
Soccer On a Shoestring!I have no answers.
I don’t expect to see us return to the EFL in my remaining lifetime – approximately 15 years.20 appearances for NL Halifax so far this season.
How?
Apologies – mixing my teams up… doh!
Bravo!
We’ll probably be top at 5pm on Saturday.
A win is a win is a win.
Day off today, sleep eat, sleep eat, recover.
Light easy half days Thursday & Fri.
Go again Saturday. We just need to be bright & quick & play with an intensity on the front foot. If we cut the silly mistakes out, then it should all go to plan.
We need an atmosphere like last Saturday’s.
Crank it up boys! -
