The same Billy that celebrated in front of us away fans @ Doncaster. Never forgiven. Though those actions can’t be condoned

After receiving dogs abuse off our fans all match.
Use to always come applaud our fans at the end whenever he’s played against us for Sheffield utd despite getting abuse and chanted at

A problem for me is all these youths coming through we are playing have the physique of kids.
Back in the day McCombe,Butler,Stanton ,Williams and so on had the stature and physicality of grown men.
This lot(I know they are kids)but just look like weak little kids in baggy kits with no presence about them.
Have we got rid of the weight bench out of the gym or something?

Probably a unpopular opinion with people but what does Cribb actually offer?

I see plenty of people say he is good etc and whenever I have seen him I’ve not noticed him do anything worthy… what are his qualities?

And why are the top teams interested him?

    Agree with this

What do you want them to do? Leave fans hands free so they can swing some more punches?

Restrain them and escort them from the ground safely like has been done the previous 33 years here or at every other stadium in the u.k ever

The pre match warm up got me or lack of it, no intensity or doing sprints or anything just small huddles of our players stood round chatting to each other while in the other half,Harrogate going through some proper drills

The statement regarding washing down of all seating prior to the season starting is clearly untrue as many on here have stated about their own seats on matchday. I took a cloth with me for the Swindon game after a mates advice who had been to the Burton game pre season and my seat was filthy. The dust for a start was very thick and there were dirty marks and cobwebs on the backs of the seat and on the seat itself, many others around me were the same, so sorry SUFC you are clearly printing an untruth. Whether it’s because a member of staff is attempting to cover their arse or not I don’t know, I suppose the next statement will read ” well that’s what the stadium staff told us, honest “.
I did hear on a coaching course my grandson son attended this week down at Bottesford Town ( organised by SUFC ) that the stadium manager had been suspended as a result of the state of the stadium this season. Don’t know if that is true but it was being said this week by coaching staff running the course.

Not a very good week or 2 for the stadium manager then, got sacked from his role with Gainsborough under18s recently after complaints and not been very good at it

Strange thing is Mr Cox wanted to sign him seeing him a bit of training and possibly 1 game.

Don’t think he is registered hence no squad number, although Lewis Butroid wasn’t registered for the league last season either – we have a history of strange decisions.

Strange that Butroid started the first game of last season then

`I gave Loft the benefit of the doubt elsewhere the other night and said if he had a strike partner right up with him to do the leg work allowing him to stay within the width of the 18 yard box (Torpey/Carruthers style) we might see a better version of him, as with someone playing behind him he’s always having to head it back towards our own goal to someone on our team, instead of flicking it on as nobody there running in begind after any flick.Would allow him to be in the box when crosses come in instead of outwide or anywhere but the box like at Southend if someone doing his running.

Still think this is the case,However he is utter garbage.

Same with me Alfred. Not sure how some people are not automatically getting the Hullberside commentary.

Paid and gone through the site and got the home teams commentary on every game

Howard 7 needs to come out more
O Malley 7 solid good performance great cross – see what happens when you overlap!
Onoraise 8 Never seems to get less than an 8!
McGahey 8 Solid forming great partnership will Onoraise
Clarke 7 steady match did well
Spence 8 Good performance needed the rest
    Beestin 8 as above
Eisa 9 very lively good finish constant threat
Gillead 9 maybe 10 Great game MoM
McAtee 8 game time starting to make a difference
Loft 8 Not as isolated played well

Harrogate were shit but not as shit as the local commentators

Possibly worst commentators I’ve ever heard, after 80 minutes decided to start arguing the first goal never actually went in

Pele’s got it pretty much spot on apart from I’d only give Loft a 6. He put himself about well but gave the ball away loads (again) and definitely should have passed to McAtee for a tap in!

Pull back to Eissa on the edge was the ball to play, although Mcatee should of checked his run for a pass rather than charging in,defender might of got it of he played the ball to him were he ran

Howard 5 awful kicking, nothing else to do

Rowe 5 caught out a few times, long balls forward to no one

    McGahey 8 Solid,great positioning throughout

Onourise 9 Excellent, won everything, not beaten all night Mom

Brown 6 beaten few times early on, steady thereon after

Gillead not really in the game much, could of helped out Rowe more

Spence 7 Good battling, looking a better player with better ones around him

Beestin 6 not really involved much, our long ball style didn’t really help

Eissa 7 cracking goal, good running getting us up the pitch, lost or gave the ball away easily few times

Loft 8 good physical performance, unlucky to hit the post.

Kvv 6 looked like Saturdays game had took it out of him

SUBS Mcatee 5 not sure he touched it more than twice

Posted with 5 minutes left as had to go to work

They’ve been calling him Lowe on loan from Leicester all night also.

Think he’s had a good game to be fair putting himself about, looks out on his feet now like.

Bit harsh on Buteoud, thought he was one of our better players, did nothing wrong, terrible passing?only seen him give it away once when Kvv had a pop at him near the end

Put 2 good crosses in in the first half and a good one in the last minute, just nobody in there as usual . certainly not worthy of a 3

O Malley is terrible, nowhere near ready for first team football, Butroid should be playing at the moment and cover for Brown and try getting O’Malley out on loan, he was dreadful last night

I think for the first time ever on this forum I actually agree with wonder_goals,this start to the season feels similar to the one under Nick Daws.

Not playing Eisa because too positive, we was playing Carlisle at home ffs not Madrid away.

Give Colclough a run of games on the right and get him up to speed, Eisa on the left and let’s actually get at some teams.
