I have a great aversion to managers over thinking things !
As usual down to who wants to win and not who doesn’t want to lose. Chuckle brother football will not be good enough. Best wishes to the club as they battle to reverse so much.
The Board have to put the club first for at least the next 2 years. Unless of course some benefactor steps forward, but as yet the euro is evading my grasp.
Will be down to management directive.
Sadly we do seem to have become a home for friends of the physio. It is a shame though.
One hopes the coaches draw his attention to this. Muzzy is not a fan of keepers being too far from their line.
Or was it a cross?
No. Having watched Tom from his 1st year in the academy he was accurate from that distance anywhere across the box. But he is better more central and going forward. Got a good passing range and will get in where it hurts for any crosses.
The only thing I would like to see from Tom is to take control more and tell players what he expects.
Law was missing injured last night and Butterfield has only just started training after his concussion. Protocol may make it a cautious recall so we aren’t short.
Personally I think Tom Pugh does a fine job IF we play him in his position, looks to move the ball forward for players who hopefully move into space. Takes good corners and free kicks and has a good shot.

Great to see Tom Pugh back, will be match fit and up for the challenge.

I can remember when we went from div 2 after many seasons into div 1 – the difference was frightening.
That is why I like a manager with more than one plan.
Don’t think he got much of a chance when he was with us. Good luck to him and he could dent some other teams chances.
Got to have qualified people in certain jobs. James and his gallant team did an amazing job to keep the club ticking over but they could not continue.
Louise knows the club, she is qualified and is highly rated by many and Michelle knows what is needed.

Latest managerial statement ” We can still …..” Do not like the word CAN. Plus now calling it a must win game – they all are for goodness sake.
I know we are second, but the gates have to stay up to help Michelle and the Board. It is not the wins but the nature of defeats that is at issue.

It must have been a nightmare for Michelle and the new board. Can imagine in every box was another shock.
But if Mr Rance was absent then I don’t see how he could expect to get paid.

Thought it was worth a mention that Stuart Maw has recently tried to encourage Liverpool fans to participate in the draw. Not sure on the connection but regardless, his video has had over 50k views and looks to have persuaded people to participate.
Good work!

Did he link it to all the persons they recruited from us over the decades ?Dick White, Peter Robinson, Kevin Keegan, Ray Clemence. They did well.

The fraudster brought Mr Dean in to fail. Mr Nelson should have stayed until the seasons end and I think we would have stayed up but that wasn’t wanted.
Always liked Peter Wild when he was academy manager at Oldham. What he did at FC Halifax was outstanding, basically with little cash. We are a real project and I think suited for his methods, but not sure he would leave his latest rescue project – Barrow FC.

The only person I would allow back of recent managers would be Michael Nelson. After that Peter Wild presently at Barrow to help rebuild.
It is not just about the wins. It is the manner of defeats. Over many seasons I have gone to some games knowing a win was remote but I knew that the team would fight from front to back, they would sweat blood by the end.
Was brought in by David the Fraudster to do a job. Did the 1st part with ease – we got relegated.
The 2nd part – you decide.

All part of his master plan perhaps ? Alienate all the players, get them to leave and leave the club unable to field a team.
Bye Bye Scunthorpe United !!
I am going for a 2-0 win for Scunny, although Brackly have won their last 3 games, they were against two teams that are badly out of form, and Scunthorpe will be a different task for them, and they had lost their previous three matches, it is a game that we must win.
We cannot set out for a draw, or we will then be seven points adrift of Tamworth who we play next week, 5 points adrift wi with a game in hand would not be too bad.
We are more than capable of winning all our games. Provided we play OUR game without overthinking all scenarios. So stop over elaboration, to me to you passing. Get the passing accurate and sharp and forward at pace.
Hadn’t realised he had coached at several efl clubs already.
Tough gig but wish him the best.
It will be exciting IF we want it to be. What has concerned people over several other matches is how the balance and approach of the team changes when some substitutions happen.
I hope that Fitz gets replaced.
He has no idea how to intercept a cross and wanders around the penalty area with no idea where he is when he needs to get back in position. Added to that, his kicking is mainly poor. We need better.
It is a team game, all are responsible. If as some say FITZ was not at his best then others need to give a bit more cover to him. With Shrimpton, I saw some prem league players yesterday clearing into row z or as far up field as possible, so others do it.
We need better ! All teams do but in our case nearly 4 months ago this club was on the verge of total collapse. Michelle Harness and her group saved the club BETTER will only happen once all the debts are cleared – and they were left with a lot. Then stability has be the next stage to attain while trying to be competitive.
It is going to take time.

In recent years any that got anywhere near a decent fee earned we managed to give away.
We have to start developing 1 or 2 a season and strengthen the club. Got to to do this from next season.

As the top scorer in the NLN, what’s he worth?
I wonder if anyone has had a look at him and thought – yeah, why not? What anyone is prepared to offer for him. But do we want to sell ?
As we are for now as stability is far more important.
If we had a feeder team I would look for it to be an U19 format, more like a reserve team where we can see trialists on a regular basis.
Commercial staff, the right calibre of staff, would be a net gain for the club, it’s their job to do so. Getting the right people back with the right connections would be a huge benefit and probably increase the playing budget.
Would imagine James Moody would love some help, he and his small group did a phenomenal job with no fraud anywhere about !!
Would think Ironawe is spot on with the increase in revenue.

Several ex- Iron there. Kelsey Mooney, Jai Rowe and Aaron Chapman.
Well it gives someone the opportunity to claim the position. As we enter the 2nd half of the season stability in forward selection must happen, players need to build the links.
So that was why David ‘whoever he was’ just had to – Go Now.
