23 year old Australian. Can play centre back and midfield and has a long throw. Deal done according to FLW.
Not convinced he does smiling TW.
Not convinced he does any actual work either based on his record here and many comments from Notts County fans.

Either Keef is waiting for a couple of ex Rochdale, Tranmere, Bolton or Barnsley strikers to not get the better offers they are hoping for or it’s another couple of Scrimshaw/Burns wannabe’s in on loan.
If we lose a week on Saturday I will be more concerned.

Given the ridiculous amounts of money he has blagged from a number of clubs he could probably buy the Iron on his own.
I really like Rowe. He works his socks off, has bit of ability and genuinely seems to care.
His weakness is he needs a second or two to decide what to do. Not uncommon with young players. He has not enough experience yet to play by instinct which is what good experienced footballers do.
At centre back you don’t get the second or two to make your mind up which is why it is unusual to see young centre backs. Hesitation often leads to a goal chance. The rare exceptions are either very talented or extremely confident or a bit of both.
For me Rowe needs a full season or two at first choice right back. He is the best at that position currently at the club and probably at least as good as anyone we will find in the bargain bin. At full back you can get away with the odd defensive lapse and often get a chance to make a recovery tackle or block. This will boost his confidence and allows him to become an experienced defender. Then move him to centre back when he is ready.
Having a full back that is decent in the air is very useful at set pieces as well. What we save on bringing in a right back we use to bring in a decent centre back as cover for Boyce and Taft. Young is not (yet) the answer to that for the same reasons as above.

I am hoping we are pleasantly surprised with Nuttal this season. Even if he exceeds expectations one striker is 3 strikers short of a squad.
Played much better in 2 of the 3 friendlies. Looked shaky against Rochdale when paired with Rowe. I think he is a guy that needs a dominant CB partner to get the best out of him. Certainly good enough if he can be bothered.

I did it as well. It is a good piece of work, well put together.
What did you answer to how would you describe your owner Awaywego?
I put “choose your own expletives”.
Talented footballer on yesterday’s showing but 2 or 3 times went for a spectacular finish when a simple pass would have created excellent chances for others. I suppose 19 year olds do that. Very feisty for his age but that’s a good thing.
Peterborough said to be trying to get him on loan for this season and almost went to Bradford.
Kai Corbett is his name. Spanish born to English parents and started with Barcelona as a kid.
The first 3 were in attendance yesterday but obviously not on the bench. We can therefore assume Daniel has joined the other 2 in the sick bay.
I looked up 5 or 6 of their starting 11 at half time. One of them was 20 and the others were 18 or 19.
I think Peterborough run an U-21 team so was probably mostly them.
More clubs than my golf bag but less than a seasons worth of appearances at 25 years old is not promising.
Did just about OK when he came on but it was against an U-21 team with a midfielder playing centre back.
Sellars-Fleming did at least as well and he is 17 on his first ever senior start.

Only one person that has anything to do with the football club that should be apologising and that is never going to happen.

Should we be reading anything into the club leaving the numbers 2, 5 & 11 vacant in their squad list?
Not aware of any players on trial other than the young American winger. Does this mean the rest of our recruitment will be from the loan market?
Usual bollocks from the absent landlord.

Rowe struggled tonight. Not good enough in the air yet to play centre back. When you are not naturally tall enough you have to be exceptional in the air to compensate. Especially true in the lower leagues where you have so many balls in the air to deal with. I would give him a full season at right back to get used to being a regular and then see if he can move to CB.
Totally agree with Mick. The starting 11 was only 4 players different to Saturday but we were much weaker as a team because of it. Having said that we created enough to be a couple up at half time if we had taken 2 of 4 decent chances. When even more youngsters came on we struggled.
2 of each plus a right back and a centre back. That’s a minimum requirement for a mid table finish.
Most of the youngsters are not ready and if we have to play more than 2 of them at any one time we will struggle.

Put 2 centre backs back on the shopping list. Taft is back to being Taft after his good performance Saturday.
It isn’t LT or MM that are getting too excited Deery.
I really hope the lad is a prospect but I would prefer to see him play a game or two first.
One or two getting a bit over excited about someone who has done very little so far as a professional footballer.
Might be worth seeing him kick a ball or two before touting him as the next Duane Holmes.

They just needed a nudge Cliff. Butterfield in. Based on Saturday he still has it.
Could mean any dammed thing.
We are however reducing to straw clutching.
He’s a magician that Daniels.
