Elliot or Carver when he is fit I assume are there for that role. They are certainly not lone front men. I know neither are likely to be 20 goal a season men but let’s face it you don’t find them for buttons if you are bottom of the National League.
Personally I would stick Wilson up there with the big man. He is too quick and clever for most centre backs at this level. Shields and Ferris either side to provide crosses and Bunker and Shrimpton to hold in midfield. Play it wide when it’s on and play it long when it’s not.
Ogle and Leake to get forward at every opportunity to support the wide men. 4-2-4 with the ball and 4-4-2 without it. Give it a go FFS.
No place fo any of our 10 midfielders then Cass?
Not so surprised he started with one up top but certainly surprised he finished the game that way.

In a demonstration of true devotion Mrs MK gave up her birthday dinner and let me watch the game in our rather nice Durham hotel room.
Sadly it was a game that would have been more exciting watching on Ceefax.
Mrs MK’s birthday tomorrow. Offered her a couple of days in Maistone but surprisingly we have ended up in Durham.
Not thinking she will be up for the livesteam either.
Bunker the only player to come out with much credit from Saturday for me.
A few that were not there seem to think he should be dropped though.

We need 2 more if they are better than what we have already got.
Not needing any the same or worse thand we already have.
Agree with Cliff about Jimmy’s post match comments.
First time in years I have watched an Iron defeat and I am certain the manager was at the same game as me.
Jimmy confirmed in the last interview that Fewster was still at the club and that him, Taft and Shields had not made the squad.
Unlike many managers of the Swann era it seems Jimmy picks the team based on what he sees rather than who brought them to the club.
He is big enough to admit the likes of Wilson, Butterfield. Beestin and Pugh are better options than some of the new signings right now.
Keep it up Jimmy.
Has anyone noticed how Pugh has come very close to scoring in both of the last 2 games?
He never looked like scoring in his previous 20 odd games. Also Butterfield running about like a spring chicken all of a sudden.
Signs of some coaching and motivation happening?
We can but hope.

Agree Awaywego it suggests that – would want to be sure before parting with my £1889 though.

Stopped doing twitter. Got fed up wading through rightwing tweets from assholes I don’t follow.
Suggest the club start a Q&A page on the OWS to save them from having to answer the same questions 500 times.

My main question is regadding the lifetime part. Are we talking my lifetime (sadly not as long to go as I would like) or the lifetime of the stadium?
It says transferable so does that mean I can pass it on to my kids or grandkids when I reach full time?
Otherwise 64 has a good point and the promised new bar becomes gods waiting room.
Let’s hope he doesn’t drop that one.
Is this money where the mouth is time?
I meant against Sheffield United – another senior moment!
Cannot make it due to work but will be streaming it.
This game and the Notts County one are not going to define our season. As they showed at Glanford Park and against Wrexham are way above National League quality so it’s a free hit.
While we are at it when was the last time we scored from a corner. Conceding yes which we did again today but scoring. It’s been a while.
To be fair the shirt was more exciting than most of the new players arriving these last few years.

Good. He needs to play regular mens football and it’s not going to happen here this season.

Not sure it will be a whole 20 minutes. The loan is only a month.
Well we certainly don’t want them coming down with us.
Glass half full today.
Be fine if they went down instead of us.
Small world – Peter Fox played in goal in the same U-18 team as me for half a season until his school found out and stopped him playing for us. He was only just 15 at the time and was pretty dammed good already.

Hope it’s like Nigel Tufnel’s amp!
Brightness definitely set to 11 last night NI

First congratulations Stella on doubling the previous Bru record for consecutive posts on the same thread.
A quick reminder for everyone else who is in meltdown over our energetic but rough and ready performance last night.
Since November the club has been 99% certain to either:
1. Cease to exist
2. Be relegated from the National LeagueOne man and one man only is responsible for that situation.
Because of Hilton’s intervention 1 is off the table.
Dean will need to be a miracle worker to prevent 2 happening. If he did the achievement would be up there with Adkins promotions.
9 days in for the new owner, 5 days in for the new manager and 2 days in for a bunch of players and we are not even as good as a play off team yet.
The manager has only run pub teams apparently, the new centre forward is a donkey etc…..
Get over yourselves. If the extra 2,000 will only stay if there is a miracle then they won’t be there long.

4,600 and 2-1.
The great escape is on.
Probably not now Swann’s gone.

Hope Jimmy Dean has a pin to pick the team with.
Or will he just go with the first 11 names he can remember?
Getting worried about the lack of keeper and centre back
Don’t know and don’t care. Suspect whatever he did was in the best interests of himself.
