Barton 5 is a below average score, 6 is average.

Howe’s dad is a director of Reading FC and the nephew of Don Howe the former England international and coach, I have been impressed with Teddy and I don’t know whether we are going to try to sign him because he isn’t getting a look in at Blackpool.

I don’t know how you give Howard 5 Barton, he kept a clean sheet and made a good block save near the end, I base a keeper on his saves and not on where he kicks the ball unless it is to a oncoming forward, a keeper who keeps finding his man is a bonus, I am not knocking anyone tonight because the all put a shift in and you couldn’t say that against Southend.

I agree with you on the referee, he was excellent.

Massive improvement from Saturday, it could have been 8-8, how we kept some of their chances out was remarkable and their keeper made some good saves as well, impressed with Howard, Howe, Clarke, Bedeau and Eisa and nobody had a bad game, another couple of wins should see us safe but just a pity about Saturdays performance, I thought the referee was pretty good also.

One of the worst football games I have ever seen, stupidly from Clarke but their player made it look worse, hard to pick a man of the match but the whole team looked if they had been told they had all got released at the end of the season and couldn’t be bothered, I also agree with Ironawes marks and don’t think it was the worst ref we have had, it is nice to get a late equaliser but not has good as on Tuesday.
Also do not accept we are safe yet and it makes you wonder if we didn’t play not to lose rather than take risks to win it.

For one thing Keadby you nearly got one right, I thought the corner in which they scored should have possibly been a goal kick, I thought Rowe kicked it on to their wingers leg, well taken goal by Hallam, Green is turning into a decent player and McAtee played well when he came on, a good game for a change and a fair result though Bedeau could have nicked it.

We usually put the squad players in at home anyway.

I couldn’t remember if it was just before or after the final while Darryn.

“If those two incidents had taken place in the PL and VAR had been used, then it would have been a penalty and a sending off”

Depends what PL teams you are talking about NI, one team very rarely gets a penalty against them but gets loads themselves, same with red cards, very rare for them to get one.

we have had 3 sent off, Cordner, Hippolyte and Brown, one was in the FA Cup, the last players sent off against us was David Worrell in the league for Port Vale with Matt Lund near the end of the game 16 months ago, and a Blackpool player days later in the Micky Mouse Cup, so not balancing themselves out are they.

Just hope they don’t all leave, money will be tight at other clubs so it might be a risk some leaving if they haven’t got anything lined up, so a reasonable income may be better than the dole.

The of course are some I will be happy for them to go but if we can sign players like Taft we can’t be paying too badly, obviously they might want to get rid of the high earners so we will wait and see.

Oh and by the way Exeter played the same team that played on Saturday.

He is doing a decent job with the squad he inherited, but what other clubs gets so many injuries than us, so rotation doesn’t stop that.

Ferrite he left Spence out when he had only played one game after being left out at Cambridge, I can understand Gillihead because it was the first time but wholesale change is too many and changing systems to suit opponents at home isn’t good either, to me you should play your strongest team at home regardless and if you are going to rotate players or system it should be in away games, last nights performance was like it was when we were in the bottom 2 early season.

I would sooner see us safe before tinkering too much, a couple of changes each game, YES, more NO, also start with the same system every game whoever it is against and not to accommodate who we play against, no wonder we get inconsistent displays and results.

Absolutely shocking, too many changes and probably the weakest starting XI for months, I know we have a lot of games but that starting XI wasn’t set up to win a game and like Vader said Tom Newey summed it up before halftime, this wasn’t a patch on Saturdays battling performance, we offered little today and the stand out players on Saturday were on the bench for 75 minutes when it was too late with the way we were playing.

A good performance, maybe Howard could have done better with the goal but disappointed we didn’t clear it off the line, but they might have thought their defender should have done better to have not given the penalty away, we did a bit of attacking in the second half but didn’t trouble the keeper and they didn’t trouble Howard either apart from the goal and hitting a post from a corner, Clarke was excellent at centre half and Spence looked the best player on the pitch today, it was a good team performance but I think we could have got all 3 points if they had worked the keeper rather than waste it when we got in their penalty area.

That shirt with the matching shorts was the worst we have ever had, and looked from stands if someone had been sick all over it

I voted for 5 with white shorts and socks, we seem to do better under the lights with some white in the strip, ex Harrogate and Cambridge away.

Couldn’t agree more, but isn’t Eisa doubtful as well and McAtee either injured or out of favour.
