Anyway Awaywego did you and the 2 lads have a great afternoon’s entertainment, certainly going to the game was different to what we have seen for a few years.

But to me there seems to be a different feel around the club this last month, and a great lot of credit must go to a number of club staff, and going to the ground the atmosphere was excellent, just hope all the upbeat atmosphere carries on for the rest of the season.

Butterfield deserved mom but is Nuttall ever going to improve
just give the lad a break, he wasn’t poor but hopefully the goals will come, don’t care who scores them as long as we win, in 1966/67 Gainsborough Trinity won the Midland League, Ken Price scored 7 and Monty Brown scored over 40, but most of Brown’s goals was either from a Price assist or from his physical presence, if Nuttall scored a hattrick people will still criticise him, he isn’t perfect but as long as we win it doesn’t matter who scores.

Wouldn’t change SS24s ratings, enjoyable game.
1300 season tickets sold according to Lee.
In other words Max Bell is still banned.

to be fair on the last seasons players I think we got rid of the worst ones and those still under contract will have to improve and stay fit.
I asked Lee and he said we did, so…
Carver is from Blackburn
we do get a sell on I have asked Lee Turnbull

up to now Lee has been doing or trying things that Swann hasn’t done, and seems to have got Twitterites on his side at the moment.
Dewhurst is a international at 4 different levels inc u20 so should be OK.
Believe it or not I have just looked on their forum and their fans rated him and reckon he will do well in the National League
Neil usually follows back Iron fans Ferrite.

I tried last night Cass and he didn’t reply, I asked him about Ogle rumour and he said “lets see what happens” so I said not a denial then and he replied “or a conformation”, I then said we are short on strikers, he replied “Everyone is” but then asked him about take over and he didn’t or dare not answer.

He played OK against Sheffield United and Peterborough u21s, didn’t go to the Rochdale game so I haven’t seen the goals, I don’t think criticism helps anybody before the season starts, so give players a break until we start playing league games they aren’t fully fit yet.
On Twitter there are a few who claim to know this and that and say things about Peter Swann and what offers have been made etc, but they believe rightly or wrongly anything they are told if it belittles the owner, I don’t think anyone apart from the people fully involved know the complete truth what is happening but hopefully it is done soon.
Yesterday in the directors box there was a bloke stood with Lee Turnbull in the doorway who I didn’t recognise and was there last week as well, also Neil Cox was there sat in the back row as well, but whether that bloke is anything to do with the takeover I have know idea but just hope the saga ends soon.
And I know nothing, I have learned over the years not to believe any rumours about United or you will be disappointed
I would have thought it was more u23s than juniors,
That was a shocker from Gallimore, protecting the ball shouting for the keeper to come and pick it up, and then when he went for it he decides to kick it past him.
With Wrexham having film star owners I am surprised we haven’t been taken over by a Porn Site. 😄😄😅
I heard end of last season that Wren Kitchens were one, I also heard that Swann won’t let the movie people have it because he doesn’t think they have the funds to run it, have also heard it isn’t Wren Kitchens either but only hearsay, but have no idea who it is though the owner Malcolm Healey is a billionaire
didn’t he say none of the family attend games and when he goes they all go.

playing in the complete new home strip tomorrow with White Shorts and Socks, will be easier for us old uns to pick out under lights in a few weeks time.

I don’t like the shirts but might look better with white shorts and socks like we had before.
Regarding PS, there has been a lot of rumours going around for weeks that people believe and may be totally exaggerated, so PS says things differently so people says he is talking crap when he may be telling the truth and nobody wants to believe his version, the only thing I want to see is a new owner here now and the Peter Swann era finished, he was good to start with but the last 4 seasons have been unbearable, so let’s hope it will be done soon and let us get our club back.

We started with our strongest available team on Saturday and you could see a difference when we brought the kids on, though with a mixed 11 tonight it sounds like we did well first half and poor in the second.
Also Taft played with Boyce on Saturday and Rowe tonight, and I don’t think Rowe is a Centre Half, I didn’t go tonight it’s too hot for me I am afraidRegarding the jab I don’t think you can book it until you are over 75.
I wouldn’t be seen dead in one, don’t like halved shirts, it’s on Thursday so yours must be next Tuesday, I had Brian Edwards sit with me on Saturday he has got a ticket to sit with Dave Thomas this season, not going tonight it’s too hot for me, but will be there on Saturday hopefully.
it probably sounds worse when not so many are sat in it.
I think I have read that Taft played with a injury for a lot of last season and they only pulled him out of the team when we had no chance of survival, I have seen the training pictures and George and the rest of the players and look as if they are enjoying themselves, the last week has seen a sudden change in attitude from Lee Turnbull’s statement down to the players with a couple of decent signings plus one we would have been over the moon with if we had been in league 1, definitely something is happening at Glanford Park and the sooner the better.
on top of that a big new shiny sign above the east Stand with Glanford Park on it, another thing I heard on Saturday was we are trying to get someone to sponsor a new scoreboard.
