It amazes me how many people on here know so much about Swann and his financial position. I don’t know where they get their info from, but it would be nice if they let us know so that we comfirm it for ourselves.
The longer this drags on the more stuff is being made up and repeated until it is believed.
Swann is not the only fantasist involved with the Club.
Let’s hope that he goes soon.

A good chance that Ryan Colclough will score!!

So many witches in tennis these days. Like that Goran, Ivanisevic!
Old Peter Kay quip…
It was Tim Vine
Heard on that Humberside sports talk another interview with Swann is imminent….
I’d rather he didn’t. We all would.
I’m no Swann fan, but the guy has no chance.
People moan when he doesn’t say anything & moan when he does.
Alcy just moans at everything.

To all you disgruntled fans out there I’ll say something when there is something to say. At the moment I have nothing to say.Swann has got him on such a tight leash, he can’t even find it within himself to critique the shite performances.
I suspect he’s another Swann puppet. As I said above he appears to be on such a tight leash it’s embarrassing, he’s less critical now than when he was simple fan like the rest of us.
“To all you disgruntled fans out there”
Is he not disgruntled himself then ?. Appears to be another Swann robot.
Pretty strong stuff coming from someone who was pretending to be “itk” only a few weeks ago when ypu were quoting him.
You really are a prat.
Bottom of the table at half-time.
Bottom of the table at full-time!!

Whilst our owner is incompetent, our fans are even worse.
Swann needs to go, but he is treated worse than he deserves to be. If he speaks, he is a liar. Whatever he says is regarded as a “promise” when he has never promised anything.
If he speaks he is called a liar. If he doesn’t speak he is a coward.
He has told us he wants to sell, but people thinks he has no intention to do so.
He will sell, but it isn’t easy. Whoever buys us has a massive job on their hands. It will take time.
Hill must go. Sooner rather than later.
Whatever happens, I will always support the Iron. Hopefully it will be back in the football league – eventually……

From Wednesday, we have a couple of days to make good the mentioned EFL signings at the closure of their transfer window – before our next Saturday game
Get this right with three trustworthy players in who can cover the areas of direst need and we can muddle through this season.
Fail to do this and it is hard to see any way back.Les, I admire your optimism. We might get lucky and find one trustworthy player, but to expect three is sheer fantasy – we haven’t found that many in six seasons!!

Nothing will change until at least the owners sell up.
You can’t blame the owner for that result!!

Yes it is Hills fault.
He knew when he came in what he had to work with. He was shocking last season.
He knew that this year he wasn’t going to get very much cash. He hasn’t done much business early. To date, we have not seen a great improvement- in fa t, very little..
Swann wasn’t selling up when Hill joined, but he must be gone when Swann leaves. If Swann doesn’t sell up then Hill should go anyway.

Does anybody ever hear a rumour that puts Swann in a positive light?
Maybe, just maybe, he does want rid but the potential new owners are trying to screw him? You never know…..
F ASLEF our lner and Gwr trains are still running so me and the grandsons are still going, can’t get back mind you, managed to get a lift home though from someone who’s watching Coldplay Friday and Scunny Saturday. Still waiting Ironawe for your reply lol.
I heard that Coldplay had changed to Sunday because of the industrial action. That makes it difficult for you.
A great result. This will give the squad massive confidence.
Good start.

Had 1-1 in the Prediction League all week but a sudden rush of optimism has got me changing it to 2-1.

Great decision 👍
I have complained many times about the use of bad language on this site. Ibhave never had a response to any of them and it is only rarely that any post is changed/removed.
On one occasion I did indeed use the term that you refer to, and it was in response to someone who used that word in their post. Childish of me, but there you have it.
Surely WG wasn’t talking out of his posterior (and then backtracking!!).
I’m with Ferrite.
Hill did not instil any confidence at all in the squad last season. Whilst I understand the need to introduce mew players and experiment, the approach did not look structured and there were very few positives from it.
He will need to show a lot more endeavour and consistency before I start singing his praises. Let’s hope he does.
It’s meant to have been written off from a club point of view but like a lot of Swanns rhetoric I don’t necessarily believe it and your right WG, somebody will have to pay it off it isn’t going to disappear on it’s own.
Accusing him of leaving quite a debt, when you have no idea AT ALL of what is or isn’t happening is abuse.
Come back when you know what is really happening.
Swannster has left us with quite a debt so we’ll still need to be careful.
How do you know this? How much is it? The reality is that you have no idea. Why not wait until you know what is happening before abusing someone?
Based on Keith Hills habit of bringing in players he has worked with before who know what strikers worked for him and are they looking for a club?
Does anyone have any ideas??Keith Hill doesn’t……

Swann has taken a lot of stick over the last few years, and rightly so.
That said, based on what he said tonight, he will be leaving the club in a good position financially.
Let’s hope that the deal goes through as quickly as possible and that the new owners deliver immediately.
A fresh start for all.

Just double-checked the prices versus last season – same cost for the terrace except there now seems to be a “matchday” price which is £3 more. Why?
It’s quite simple
They offer you a £3 reduction if you buy in advance. You will attend if you purchase a ticket.
If they have the same “pay on the day” price no-one will buy in advance. Then, if the weather is crap, you got hammered on Fri night, Scunny got hammered on the Wed night (very possible), or the missus wants you to go shopping, you won’t bother going.
Not really interesting unless they explain what she is taking up. What a wasted opportunity.
Keith has a plann. God help us…….
God hp us…….
What a dream. You know full well that they will be hammered if they fail at any point.
I don’t thinks so IA but Pugh might still be available.
Yes, but is Pugh available? 😉
Don’t give up your day job………………
I’m surprised that people are surprised at Hill. In all of his interviews last season he was dull, boring & uninspiring. What made you think he’d change?
There is a lot of “imagining” and “thinking” going on, but very few facts. The reality is that nobody really knows anything!!
