I thoroughly despise everything about fc100000, but what I really can’t take is this was all done on the sly. Very underhand. This is something that should’ve been consulted with fans before anything was signed away.
Whoever tried this on, whoever’s brainchild it was, needs to take a few steps back. Even better, leave the club, tail between legs.

The wheels might have fallen off this venture
“A deal agreed in principle” page taken down and ripped up..? Although from the outside the last 24 hours have been filled with our Club’s official silence (which has frustrated a lot of people), there’s no way there hasn’t been outright panic behind the scenes. Frantic emergency phone calls, disagreements, I-told-you-sos, tears and tantrums, dummies spat, etc… And perhaps now FC100000 have glimpsed the utter contempt for them from the supporters and bailed..?
I reckon that could sum it up. Fingers crossed.

‘We only went for a cheeky frappucchino guv’
Was the video produced by a professional film maker with a vested interest in the subject?
I don’t know, I don’t have any inside track on it. It wouldn’t be a shock to discover that is the case, keep adding to the own goal tally.
seems most of this is playing out on twitter X .. i dont use it so just picking up titbits as i see em .. how has Gareth Ironarmy got himself involved thought he had more sense unless he was hood winked by slippery Sharp n radar Roberts
That’s yet to be revealed. But it has been said that IronArmy makes an appearance in in some kind of promotional/grand unveiling video for the scheme. All parties were made to sign NDAs.
I’m wondering if this video will ever see the light of day.

The sponsors are getting worried.
Not surprised, so am I.
Ian Sharp, Matt Roberts, Iron Army.
BUNCH OF MASSIVE C*NTS
Grimsby shirt edited out now, talk about obvious admission of guiltj
It really shouldn’t have, but it did make me laugh.
Absoloute clown shoes, spinning bow tie included.
If this is true, I am hugely disappointed. Whoever thought this was the best road to go down must be brain dead.
I don’t think this is going to be popular with any of the fanbase. Incredibly tone deaf considering the recent past.
It is true and in answer to your other question, Sharp and his buddy Roberts.
I would like to read/hear their entire ‘thought process’ for this endeavour, but I suppose mere mortals wouldn’t understand the complexities and ROI benefits.
I suspect this is not so Sharp and the biker CEO. I don’t think Roj or Michelle would have entertained this, but with not so Sharp, the CEO and maybe George Aitkenhead, they are outvoted. All my opinion.
I think you could be right.
In any case I would prefer the person(s) driving this to not have any involvement with the club at all. Go and dribble over themselves elsewhere.
I won’t be rolling out a welcome mat any tume soon.

No panic, thought I was starting to sleep type.
I think I get the jist of what you’re saying.
I don’t have facebook so I only hear the gossip second hand on here.
I don’t condone any shit stirring going in any direction but sadly I think it’s some people’s entertainment. Light the touchpaper and walk away, watch the fireworks from afar with glee.
There are expert anglers out there, but I try my best to not give them a bite.

Not quite sure why my post has been edited by unknown forces.
A sad state of affairs. Does nobody any favours.
I hope this doesn’t start causing old fractures to break again. It really wasn’t good to see the fan base having pops at each other last time.
Bring on the new year and a new start.
When you see how they weighed in on Facebook it was along old fractured lines,I’ve just searched Stuart Maw on X and the top result is “Stuart was an antisemite and Nazi enthusiast”
Well I wasn’t expecting that!
From what I know of Stuart (extended family link), his polital leanings are very much on the opposite side of the spectrum. Certainly not Nazi.
Maybe some Amanda White could tempt you back to Humberside? Was always positive.
Probably not if you was still wearing your water wings.

my advice to Butler is just don’t blow it and don’t even think of benching Whitehall again you Muppet
Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get your UEFA pro license?
Strange times
You’re not wrong. I had no knowledge of this level of football and don’t think I ever will.
A couple of wins for us, a few losses elsewhere and everything is back on track for a title run. Despite a terrible run of performances. To me it just feels like a weekly lottery, any team can beat any team, top to bottom.
I would love to see free flowing sexy football but at this level it seems to be about who can grind out the most results no matter how tedious.

He certainly sounded like a guy under a great deal of pressure.
I should think the adrenaline was running a bit high after the half time bollocking as well.
I’m sure he is more than aware that things are shite, but what’s he supposed to do? Throw the players under the bus? He’ll be criticised no matter what he says.
I thought is was a bad interview. He’s not the first manager to have done it, won’t be the last.

On the face of it the bun does seem a bit useless. Handy for mopping up the sauce perhaps.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the idea behind it is to make it instagramable/social media ready.
Not injured, but ill.
