Cant say this season but every time I went in for tickets last season there were always 4 in the shop, I remarked about it at the time.
So that says full-time to me.I don’t think seeing four staff members in the same place at the same time is evidence of full time contracts.
Ps, did everyone notice how many were working in the club shop who were thanked 4 yes 4.
How can a NLN team run with that ffs. Cut the cloth for where we are.Are they all full time? Or perhaps they are part time or job share? Adding up to whole time equivalents.
Basing staffing levels purely on the league level isn’t sensible. You also have to cater for the volume of punters you have coming through the door / online orders.
Less staff could lead to loss of income as you can’t meet demand.
Michelle needs a couple of forklifts to move hers, MASSIVE.
I’m feeling a slight bit of unease. Gripping the arms of the chair a little more.
The timing of all this nonsense couldn’t have been any worse.
I’m hoping these are just some choppy waters and things settle.

Their treatment of people is beyond contempt.
Still Cass will be along soon telling us about how the board are still doing wonders.
Not good PR, not a good luck, don’t they realize that other companies can see all their dirty washing, hardly a “come and invest and support us” but then again shouldn’t think their bothered.
I don’t think this is entirely fair as this is looking more and more like the board isn’t working as one. A darkside and a benevolent.
It’s the ‘clear directive that became noticeable a number of months ago’, the praise for Michelle and Roj, the total absence of thanks or praise for AchingHead, Sharp and CEO Roberts, and the bit on James Moody fighting the Merch Labs corner to the very end. That all suggests to me that there is huge tension and massive internal difficulty at the Club. Can we read into this, on top of Smoking Goat’s comments about Sharp, that the problems are now not just confined to the boardroom and the two factions power-pissing in there? Has the whole place gone toxic again?
I don’t like this because I think it could be right on the money.
Bad debt could also be a purchase of something that can never be repaid.
Training bibs and cones from wish.com?
Wharton and Swann pretty much the same debt in monetary terms allowing for inflation Wharton.
Hilton no where near he only owned the club.Take it you checked on Whartons losses.
Last time I checked Wharton hadn’t separated the club from it’s largest asset.

A powerful summoning technique, I’m getting the name ‘Zanetti’

Pity Bucksiron and Pat O’Cake aren’t around still to offer the Board free PR Guru nous and catering expertise.
Have you tried saying their name three times?

I’ll have no problem either cos they won’t get a penny from me.
Ever thought of just purchasing more of the club lottery tickets £10 monthly and save the club all the hassle and the cost of setting up another scheme.
There’s really no need for something else. The lottery is run by an external organisation. Ad such, they’ll take a slice of any lottery tickets bought.
A Trust/club/fan membership scheme would ideally mean 100% of monies going into the club.
Way off the mark Renes suggestion is virtually a carbon copy of Chester and Darlo’s membership scheme but there they own the whole club one member one vote.
Just read Renes post again he’s on about monthly ffs Chesters £2 a month and you become an owner. But with Renes suggestion the owners can walk away at any time.
Honestly do you really want to give the owners money after what they were intending doing. Or letting them buy another Banjo Beck lol.As stated above, yes I wouldn’t have a problem with it.
I don’t expect everyone to support it or want to do it, but it’s voluntary. Personal choice.

In the short term/medium term it’s a model that could work to bridge the deficit gap the club is experiencing; with that you’d have to expect some form of representation within the club though.
Yes, I do think something like this could help short/medium term whilst searching for the elusive unicorn of a 5th investor.
I didn’t really think about it in terms of fan representation but it would be appreciated and I think beneficial.
I’m definitely in favour for some kind of subscription membership like this (for scunny fans, by scunny fans obsv). And this could certainly help tip the financial balance into something more favourable.
However, this only takes you so far. Modern football is an astronomical money pit. Even a millionaire can struggle to achieve success. At the top level you need to be a billionaire (preferably one that doesn’t see the club as a toy).
I think it’s very important to set realistic goals/targets and do everything to live within a clubs means. For some this causes dissapointments.
I’d rather have a stable club than one that overshoots and folds.

Despite his success I had never heard of Ian Sharp prior to his attempted takeover from Swann/WHAM. But I couldn’t say if he was a regular attender or not, didn’t/don’t know the guy.
I don’t know Aitkenhead personally or his attendance record but I know from others that he’s an Iron fan.
I didn’t go great, and I think everyone could see/hear that. But the fact that she stepped up and put herself out there was the best move.
I think FC100000 dropped her in the shit on a Sunday because they just couldn’t contain their excitement.
I don’t think Michelle would’ve had a lot of preperation time between dealing with death threats and angry sponsors. Maybe that’s where the CEO could’ve been a bit more visible?
Loads of respect for Michelle but that interview was a mess. Surely our media-trained CEO should be rearing his head for things like this.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Michelle saw it has her responsibility to put herself in front of the microphone, I think she could be made of stronger stuff than the others.
There’s also the problem that people would only criticise if the CEO had gone out, some would have said that the board were hiding.
I can’t remember all, but apart from us, York, Hartlepool, Kidderminster, Torquay and Hampton & Richmond were definitely on there. I think Boston was too.
Sorry, it was a bad joke about an SUFC rebrand (not a question about acquisition for influence only).

What was the other options on the fc100000 voting list?

All aboard the promotion roller coaster.
I do think there’s a misconception that Matt E is Mr Iron Bru because he’s heavily involved with the podcast.
I think people just make the assumption based on that.

Good luck to all involved and all those that where involved.
Catering, for whatever reason(s), seems to be a large poisoned chalice.
Well that makes two of us that remember it.
I can’t remember much about it though. Perhaps a nominal one off annual cost? Then that gave you first dibs on tickets?

March 24, 2025 at 4:53 pm in reply to: Calum Roberts and boardroom news from Michelle’s BBC chat #300505As stated in the interview, every cloud.
Like most, got a lot of time for Michelle. So, I’m going to take her word for it that nothing was signed/agreed.
For me this does put a LOT more in the negative column for fc100000. Utter amateur omnishambles from them to even start being billy big spuds about agreements in principle (and the rest).
I do have niggles in the back of my mind that maybe some fibs are being told to calm things down.
Personally, I would have no problems at all with a club/trust run membership scheme. I could be imagining it but I thought there used to be one. I’m sure I used to have a little laminated card with passport photo on it. Maybe it was for something else.
I want to wake up tomorrow forgetting any of this happened.

The unfortunate thing is it does have an air of predator behaviour about it.
Vultures circling round any poor sods in dire situations. Promising piles of no strings attached cash, except for the opportunity to film people making cups of tea in the boardroom, maybe a 24hr livestream of watching the pitch grow.
I don’t buy the social, doing it for the love of the game angle.
Sympathies to any clubs on their hitlist.

I just feel it’s a big gimmick, flash in the pan. People get bored of this type of thing very easily.

Bullet well dodged. He sounded utterly clueless, all based on ifs and maybes, no substance to the model at all.
