Will we?
its all gone pear shaped so No..
more so will loose in the play offs as well , its all gone pear shaped.
In direct answer to the thread header .. YES .. it certainly looks that way.
180+ mins of play 2 attempts 2 goals 6pts to Curzon absolutely disgraceful Scunny. Third subs done it for me Beestin for Whitehall really! Jimmy it is time to go,said in a previous post can Michelle afford to keep him and after today performance it as to be no. As much as I dislike in house give Butterfield a go with Butler.
Now im liking that idea , .. Butters n Butler replacing JD n Plummer i mean … as for Muzzy i have never understood how he has always dodged the bullet for so long , he needs putting out to grass as well to save a few quid.
Even with the piss poor HR service and having to constantly swap over to CA Twitch TV and some very hyper Ozzie fella it sounded like another shitshow.. CA were crap yet done us with their only sniff and more worryingly we could not break them down. JD stole the show with the Beestin Whitehall sub WTF was all that about ?? …twood appear we are in real trouble and never mind promotion the play offs are very doubtful on this form and with the teams coming up.
South Shields on a roll
Chester
AlfretonWill all be up for us rubbing their hands in glee knowing just how to set up against a very easily sussed toothless Iron.

Got Humberside commentary on now. Seems to be technical problems thiugh
Same all the time .. LOB
HR is gash … WOFT .. more tech issues and commentary repeatedly dropping out and going to Hull or the Cod heads who are already 2-0 down at home to Stockport.
Marks out of 10 for HR .. a big fat zero
I don’t think the club needs another non playing staff member adding to wage bill Deerey, but thanks for the thought you know damn well I’d make a better fist of it than the incumbent, The club have run plenty of community days and half filled it with kids in the away end against a team who’s not going to bring many fans if it ain’t
broke don’t try to fix it, no need for us to try and play the big time Charlie and go for the record attendance and then end up looking silly.
The record attendance is attainable but that will come from results on the pitch and not people walking away from grounds being disappointed most week’s.Spot on post that AWG .. especially the last sentence.
Play attractive entertaining football score goals and the buzz will return naturally .. nobody even the loyalist fans want to go hope feeling depressed and ripped off by what they have just experienced leading many to find an alternative way to use their time and money. This is about the superior Bru podcasts, ironfromafar! ;-)
Ar apologies dint know there are 2 Scunny themed pods .. i know nothing of the one you refer too.
I enjoy the podcasts but tend to watch in sections with a break as some times the banter is over done and the speccy ginger guy can be a tad tedious always being right in his own world.
Its great the guys do it and more so for me IRONARMY game YT vids are a god send Gareth does a cracking job really enjoy them .. thought Bara did a decent job at Blyth as well even though a blushed at some of the rather colourful language !!
What are the issues with the SUFC kitchens anyone know ?? .. maybe the local HnS department dropped in to take a gander n found even the rats were wearing overalls.
As already predicted i reckon this is another nailed on draw WGs … but if im wrong n had to put money on a winner sadly it would be Curzon by a single goal.
Of course I forgot about Dean’s contract ending. There’ll be a shedloads of work to be done in close season. I don’t expect Dean should be part of that.
Not so sure IA .. im predicting if Scunny dont get promoted either auto or loosing in the playoffs JD might be offered another 1 year deal by the board .. getting into the playoffs during such turbulent times may be seen as some sort of success also Dean may be the cheaper option rather than actually finding a new gaffa ..and of course he knows this level inside out.
Can see most of this squad leaving come the summer regardless if we go up or stay down. Its afact if it is the NL next season playing as we are currently it will be sort lived getting mullered every week and low attendances.
Too many Iron fans think we are better than waht we actually are ..which at the moment for whatever reason is pretty dire and im still of the opinion some thing behind the scenes is causing the dip in form and player confidence as they look shit scared every time they take to the pitch.2 users thanked author for this post.
Another score draw it is then .. 1-1 or maybe even 2-2
Att 3333Next 5 fixtures , Curz , Sboro, SS , Alfy and Chester .. what do members think the points tally will be out of the max 15 ..??
Not wishing to be doom n gloom merchant but im thinking 9 max1 user thanked author for this post.
Sadly i got the score draw prediction cock on … from reports sounds like it was another strange below par performance (except from JD who thought it was a perfect away one) .. ruined by another crap ref who it sounds like was totally clueless and needs to go to specsavers.
To concede as we did is shameful and will surely cost us come the end of the season ..Blyth were terrible by all accounts yet still couldnt beat them which doesnt bode well for the rest of the season.
Not that i partake in the SG offerings at GP but after all the seemingly positive posts especially gushing reports re the Sunday Carvery and apple crumble surely it would be a step back if they dont carry on.
Suppose it all the depends on contractual elements that have to work for all parties involved.
Danny Stamp has stated FNB at SUFC would not be effected by his latest business venture in Burringham.
Agree … Clunan has been terrible since injury and the new baby arrived… but its not only him several others have dipped in ability n form.
Did i hear JD say Butterfield is doubtful due to illness ??
Blyth Prediction score draw .. 1-1 or 2-2
Rene ..dont have to be inspector Clooso to see your posts makes valid points .. glaring example Buxton being a bang average side who have done us twice this season purely on as you say playing out their skins… alas such is the change in performance level i just feel some thing is wrong what fans are not privvy too ..could be within playing set up or behind the scenes at the club , i have noticed the players seem less jovial , less smiles ..i hope im wrong and whatever is going on is rectified ASAP.
The town isn’t loving this team?
Except for the exceptionally bad times of repeated relegation (Cox Hill) there has always been a hardcore of circa 3k fans who turn up rain snow or blow with another 1500 to 2k floaters who will attend when the team is doing well and playing good attractive football (good memory needed) .. the fact the ownership appears stable and ground is safe plus better food etc it proves fans will turn out to support the club when decent football is being played . No one wants to watch a loosing team and go home depressed its human nature.

Re Blyth Tuesday… Play anything like the first half against RO and it will be literally a pointless trip.

It’s up now
Yeah thanks ..it came up about 2 mins before KO but didnt go live til 22;05 and RO had already hit the post by then.
I’m working so have the Humberside commentary on; it sounds like we’re struggling to get out of first gear AGAIN!
real flat performance .. so far been second best and no sign of a reaction from the Tamworth result. RO should ov been a couple up.

Thanks Rene i will try that , i normally get it via the link below but for some reason the Scunny RO fixture isnt coming up.
In my younger years ( 25 plus yrs ago) i was always being taken for Andre Agassi on one occasion whilst on holiday was asked to sign an autograph… alas those days are long gone and sporting a white bushy beard more like Santa.
Can anyone post the HR commentary link .. its not showing on the usual BBC web page.
TIA
UTI
Similar to you Rene after watching JDs rather sombre uninspiring pre match chat with James Moody .. something has /is going wrong and needs sorting out , the players seem to have lost interest are they questioning the managements tactic s ? not easy to predict but ..
Head n heart will take a tight nervy Iron 2-1 win
However my gut feeling is a 1-1 draw
Att just under 4k2 users thanked author for this post.
Hope the Iron can up their game Tuesday … IMO a performance akin to Boston Brackley or PS simply wont cut the mustard.
Im sticking with my earlier prediction of a draw for this one ..
Att difficult to predict as will be way less than the postponed Saturday timing..
circa 4000 im guessing.<strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>Let’s be honest the squad is a great squad of players for this level but we lack any real depth.
So… it’s not a great squad.
Ive never been convinced this squad is all its cracked up to be,play well in fits n starts but not a lot of consistency in anyone single game let alone stringing a winning run of multiple fixtures together.
DSF surely got to be recalled now.
Listening to the commentary it sounded like a pretty dire affair … PS offered very little goal threat especially after the big fella up front went off… Fitz was playing silly buggar on a couple of occasions but the whole day was about Roberts , thankful he scored but then sounds like a nasty injury.
On current form Tuesdays Tamworth showdown is gonna be hard and im still predicting a nailed on draw.
Pleased hear Butterfield is back ..Law still injured and Whitehall at home changing nappies. PS are on a good run of form .. for Scunny a must win game as they all are now .. so
My prediction.. a tight n nervy 3-2 Iron win
1 user thanked author for this post.
I cant recall when Scunny last brought their A game for both halves (a full 90 mins) IA .. so many times they have been excellent in one half poor in the other… all of a sudden as well as the obvious Tamworth clash the imminent Scarboro and Chester fixtures are huge.
