Anyhow the purpose of the hearing will be to establish, in the absence of a valid lease issued by the freeholder, if Hilton and Scunthorpe United Football Club Ltd have any legal right to remain at GP.

Who knows what evidence may be submitted or accepted to show the reason for the validity of the seven day lease is due to the uncooperative nature of the land owner to not wanting the sale to proceed because he changes the goal posts when it suits.

Been downgraded to level 4 with the 9 to 16 year olds becoming a self sufficient junior set up like other non league teams with no funding. That’s Hilton’s version as a mate just posted me a section of his reply to a fan online. Daws quoted 70k to fund the academy where the reality when numbers got crunched was 220k, Hilton says we can’t afford that.

Yet Hilton has stated it is the responsibility of the owner of the land and ground to register the ransom strip before a sale can proceed. Who do we believe?,well neither have a great track record so we need the courts to decide as no one on here ever comes up with a legally qualified answer, which is fully understandable as we aren’t lawyer’s.

Probably as accurate a synopsis of the current situation we are going to get and a very good read. If this all goes pear shaped for SUFC then both men IMO will be totally to blame for our town losing its football club. Community asset indeed, they both should be ashamed if this cannot be resolved.

No criminal charges to be answered according to Scotland Yard, what actually is going on with Huw Edwards, has unsubstantiated allegations against him and published in the Sun sent him mentally over the edge, he’s being treated for his mental health now according to his wife’s statement, seems a complete mess at the minute. The alleged victim has said through his solicitor the story is complete rubbish, guess it’s watch this space but the Sun might be in for a legal kicking unless they provide evidence of course.
