I’d say killing everyone in a flood is pretty bad, pregnant women included

Yes but in bills worldview God said he had dropped a bollock flooding the earth and killing all those people and animals and he would never do it again. So because God said he was sorry, bill is cool about God taking all those lives, sort of like it didn’t really count in the grand scheme of things.

IB appears to be struggling, that post removal must have unnerved him.

Most definitely not. Just respectful of 64’s wishes.

Was refering to the lack of detail you posted about your last supposed company scandal.

That’s some quality lawn feed PR Mr Sidey, I’m sure the Monkees would approve of the jingle.

I’m guessing IB’s recently removed post was more to do with libel then abuse as I haven’t seen it?

I know a very good lawn weed and feed that kills moss and stimulates vigorous new grass growth, should we all hijack this thread and discuss that instead. I’m sure bill will approve.

It’s all music that’s all that matters, just enjoy it, far too much categorising of music IMO.

VAR if left as just goal line technology would have been fine and if a sensible reasoning had been applied to what is classed as offside and applied to the VAR system then that would also have been fine. Penalties should always be left to the officials on the field because as we see now everything about the nature of the game we love, the spontaneity, is being entirely controlled by machine. The interpretation of the laws and then fed into the VAR system is entirely of the football authorities own making, they pandered to the football pundits, players and managers making
negative remarks around refereeing decisions they disagreed with, even using slow motion replays to back up their arguments. Well the authorities listened and after so much negativity aimed at referees on the field by observers of the game, they applied overkill and now we have the shit show that is VAR. Of course it’s VAR’s fault now but of course it isn’t, the pundits are complaining of overkill, well who started it? As for the fans walking out in this case, well it’s a gesture they must feel strongly about but I can’t see it catching on TBH.

I’m assuming the other surnames didn’t get an airing at the fans’ forum.

Well if you weren’t there then you may never know, which should be a first for you.

It never ceases to amaze me the level of arrogance by those who tell others how to behave towards a subject which they have demonstrated they know nothing about.

NorthLincolnshireIrons was asking the question about how long Patrick had been on this forum, about the same time as this guy I reckon.

They don’t want you feeding bread to the ducks all the time at Normanby Park but I always say a little of what you fancy does you good. I’ve managed to knock my whisky intake down to just five bottles a week now.

Can you remember the days when Brian Laws came in the radio and said he was disappointed because we had 20 plus attempts on goal and only scored four!

No wonder all the dials on his radio were sticky.

Exactly and today they won a meaningless friendly, some people just don’t get pre season.

2-0 up and the usual idiots more interested in point scoring, there’s a surprise.

If you’re referring to me, I was being very tongue in cheek (as the asterisk should have made obvious). I don’t want to be serious all the damn time.

Probably referring to the difference between mayo and salad cream myself and ironfromafar were laughing about, some miserable gits about.

Wasn’t it an e-mail with an attachment to open explaining the clubs position? There are 150 of them I believe in the system, seems a perfectly reasonable way to contact them, it’s 2023 not 1963.

I’m 68 Patrick, have watched the Iron since 1964, haven’t done pre season friendlies since 1977 as I believe them to be a waste of time and money but hey that’s my opinion and I do hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow but I don’t need any help advice from you but thanks all the same. Peace and karma and I hope your sausages are well received by the Iron fans tomorrow, as for the result, I don’t care because it means nothing I just want all our players back uninjured after another fitness workout before the real stuff begins.
