So once again ironinsider/ ironeye is found wanting about the fate of SUFC, we were apparently out on our arse today according to him a short while back. I will put that comment from him in the same file as , won’t kick a ball at GP this season, won’t see a single new player signed play for us this season and won’t be seen wearing a new kit this season. Ironinsider/ ironeye early season report just out, must try harder and pay more attention to what is actually going on 😂

Good call on the attendance, Ironfromafar. I thought you’d overestimated by at least 600. A surprisingly good following from Scarborough but even so today shows the appetite and potential within the town.
I believe it’s called game management, players were getting tired ( on both sides TBF ) but our midfield looked leggy and Whitehall needed a break from falling over. Stiffened the defence with the introduction of Boyce who looked very comfortable and should have scored with that header from a corner. Correct management from Jimmy IMO, 4-1 was a very good well managed win.

Whitehall is a strange one for such a big lad, he goes down far too easy and is always looking for the foul instead of going for goal. The second half one when he was virtually through on goal then fell over like he was pole axed was pathetic, the ref got the decisions around Whitehall’s so called fouls against just about right IMO, the ref however overall was poor. I know it’s from a different time and laws have changed over the years but Steve Torpey would have had that Scarborough centre back for breakfast, dinner and tea after the first twenty minutes. Agree about Whitehall, grow up FFS.

Great win, great crowd, great atmosphere, crap ref but most importantly Shrimpton passed the test today. Well played young man now make that position yours or at least give Jimmy a tough decision to make when others are fit again.

When the link failed and it deffered to the live rugby league game you could certainly hear those guys blabbering on ok.

According to the Iron Trust it’s a nowt or summat’s court session anyway, barely an hour long and just to sort procedures for a later date. Basically nowt to see here today or for a good time into the future I suspect.

Our biggest ‘game’ of the season takes place tomorrow.
I’m guessing it’s a public court with a viewing gallery?
Is anyone attending?
Maybe RH or Telegraph will send a reporter… as if!I believe IB and SNOT will be there, sitting in the front row cackling away whilst doing their knitting, a proper fish wife affair 😂
Was it the Ilkeston clubhouse you were in ?
bill reminds me of Mike Lindell the My Pillow Guy who is on the verge of bankruptcy because he has put his company and personal wealth into proving the 2020 US election was stolen. He was always going to provide evidence this week, next week, before Biden had been in office 10 months, the following month after the mid terms and Trump would be reinstated as President before Xmas 2022. Now he is virtually skint, has been made to look what he is, a total lying prat and Trump has been indicted 4 times. Hey bill you crack on mate, how marvelous.
Here we go / don’t go again:
Click on link and it says ” Whoops this page doesn’t exist ”
Thank goodness, for a minute there I thought we were in trouble.Yep I reckon if we get around the 4000 mark we should be happy enough with that, hope it stays fine but the 1 o clock start is just ridiculous.

BS it was on Humberside on Freeview 721 on your TV, kept dipping in and out due to some technical errors but it only deferred to the rugby when that happened. Probably lost no more than 5 minutes of the commentary over the 90. Scunny have been on Freeview for all their away games this season, always check it out in future.
Gram Parsons the original ” Cosmic Cowboy “, died far too young from a morphine and alcohol overdose. Got his wish to be cremated at Joshua Tree but what a waste of a talented young life.
Unfortunately Awaywego has a habit occasionally of going down the ” aren’t I a clever boy routine” and invariably he comes across as the insensitive prat he really is.

Agreed, recovery will be key and our squad will handle it better.
I never understood there 1st post
On reflection DM probably doesn’t either, he may come on and explain.
That’s another grumble off the IB list then, I’m sure he’ll be coming up with something else. They had a section on Burnsys show on Humberside called ” praise or grumble ” as far as DH is concerned it’s always a grumble from IB.
Not a beef of mine, squire.
Have you been on the Southend forum today IB giving their fans the lowdown on the Southend owner, genuine question?
They were making a lot of it on radio about the rain late on les, what was your take on it and should the game have been stopped?
Oh it’s a complete disaster, we are now second in the league 😂 we will be fine, anyone thinking we will win every game or not lose a few at any rate are deluded. We beat Darlington 4-0 playing with one striker up top ,we go to Curzon and start with one striker then go two up top second half and lose narrowly to a team defending a lead, oh and we hit the bar late on playing in a swimming pool. That’s life that’s football, on to the next match and let’s get three points. UTI.

Didn’t sound like that second half TBF, shit happens, that’s one monkey off our backs we can win the next five on the bounce now.

Well if Denton gets pushed on we will, maybe Wilson not fully fit or maybe it is tactical, we won’t know till kick off.
I love playing I Shall Be Released on the acoustic guitar, what a song, the version on Volume 2 is sublime.
While one who sings with his tongue on fire
Gargles in the rat race choir
Bent out of shape from society’s pliers
Cares not to come up any higher
But rather get you down in the hole that he’s in.Nice one Iron Age, it’s only bill bleeding on here mate, a bleeding nuisance.😂
Is it a more defensive set up with Kelly in and Wilson on the bench or will Denton be pushed further forward?
I’m going for an away win in fact I will back us to win every game this season in the league, then when we get beat I can come on here and act totally astonished because we have lost 😂
Anybody got Bob Dylan’s greatest Hits Volume 2? Wonderful album from Watching The River Flow all the way through to When I Paint My Masterpiece and Lay Lady Lay. His trio of songs accompanied by Happy Traum on second guitar and banjo are truly epic particularly the epic Down In The Flood. Dylan at his cracking soaring best, performing such a range of style contrats within his work, we are truly blessed to have been born into a time when this songwriting genius began, flourished and totally dominated the songwriting scene from the sixties way through into the seventies, eighties and beyond. Only Lennon and McCartney can rival him in dominance of songwriting success, I think we have been a very lucky generation to witness these geniuses and many other fine singer songwriter’s come up and flourish in our lifetime.

Which is a shame you engaged with him Siderite, we all know his agenda by now. Have you got into any of Dylan’s songwriting where he was aware of what was and is going on in the world and some of his songs reflect that? Would be interesting to hear your view on Dylan as a songwriter.
I often wonder if some guys are grabbing their crotches whilst posting their response on here 🤔 Apparently some Spanish men think such gestures are appropriate at a Ladies World Cup Final.
I believe most songwriters want people to make up their own minds about a song in terms of interpretation. If you read online about some songs and how people interpret them, the contrast can be quite wide and varied at times. As for bill and his hijack attempt, best ignored as usual with most of bills loaded efforts on this forum.
