All this talk of another striker, we have one coming back from suspension available on Saturday ( well he scored 15 goals from the wing last season and was played as a striker pre season, so I’ve been told ) another converted from midfield to striker who scored two goals on the opening day playing as a striker, good old DW who scored twenty goals last season playing as a striker and a young upcoming striker who came on Saturday and scored. What more do you want? PS I don’t think Haaland is available.

bill if you agree with people trying to burn down a mosque with Muslims inside then you are as wacky as them. If I think a member of a church has stabbed three children to death despite no evidence they were Christian and I organised a mob to burn down a church with Christians inside would you condemn me or support me. Looking past the wacky twisted rhetoric of the guy on GB news this is what happened in Southport after those children were murdered, protestors who were actually rioters and some may say terrorists tried to murder innocent people in their place of worship egged on by people with similar views to the guy on GB news, I know you disagree but you and I generally disagree. Having five good subs is a massive bonus for us and I don’t care if the opposition put on five subs too because five outfielders remain on the pitch for both teams all game and our five will be fitter than their five most games. Gaps appearing last twenty minutes particularly down Marines right flank, we exploited that with Kelly towards the end, a comfortable win for me and a lot of that down to superior fitness IMO.

Should have signed Chet Atkins in his prime, not much of a footballer but the half time entertainment would have been fantastic.

That’s quite a deep thought analysis Ex Officio and you may well be right but I think you also appreciate that the majority attending yesterday’s game can only go by what unfolded in the 90 minutes.

Don’t think Whitehall messing around with the opposition keepers drinks bottle is going to get the club heavily fined or maybe points deducted, however serious crowd trouble from our younger element against Chester supporters may well do,stupid comparison from the usual suspect.

AB spoke post match about maybe freshening things up at Needham Market, maybe it could be Fishburn in for Beestin to give him a rest before the Chorley game then play Carlton and Beestin in that one, not that Whitehall needs a rest but it may just get his brain more focused on giving the team 90 minutes instead of just 25.

Whitehall always has been a strange type of player for us, more of a cameo player. Maybe as some say the new system isn’t right for him but for 65 minutes he was largely anonymous but the last twenty five minutes he came alive, got on the end of a long ball over the top and finished superbly then provided an assist for young Fishburn. Beestin ran his nuts off all game and has some nice touches but Whitehall by comparison seems to amble along for most of the game, impressed with Beestins fitness BTW, fittest I’ve ever seen him in an Iron shirt

Have been pleased with our first two games, sure a work in progress and Roberts still looking a bit like a fish out of water but the togetherness, work ethic and superior fitness levels compared to our first two opponents, particularly last twenty minutes has been gratifying. We look a yard sharper in most areas of the pitch and being able to field and use five subs this season can only help us show our superiority by just being full time. More to come from this squad and when Carlton is available next Saturday then AB will have some head scratching to do regarding his starting eleven but it’s a nice situation to have. Really looking forward to this season after the way we have started, plenty to look forward to IMO

Now a lot of people think the bible is just a big made up story which is based on certain characters who were around at the time. Taking just a look at the new testament based on some guy called Jesus, well a story was woven about him and Mary Magdalene having a child by Dan Brown in the Da Vinci Code, who do you believe Dan or the several different people who helped promote the stories in the bible. As for me I believe they are just both a work of fiction but maybe Dan over the next few years might have the bigger pull as more people turn away from religion and concentrate on actual factual matters that effect them and their families lives in the world. Who knows? Who cares? Life’s a bitch and then you die, well that’s a reality the rest is based on a big story so believe what you want because after death that is when the factual reality ends.
