If he wants to get the best out of Beck then play him up top with Whitehall when fit and a couple of wingers, how about say Roberts and Carlton ( their most effective positions). You never know Andy it might work, what’s the old saying ” a change is as good as a rest ” and bloody hell do we all need a rest from this current drivel.

Actually, I am a pretty heavy drug user. I can supply a list of what is currently keeping me alive if anyone is desperate enough to want the facts.
Same here les, where would the over sixties be without ramipril, lansoprazole and statins?, well probably not attending Iron games, lol.

If Butler goes I guess the managers of Curzon, Chester and Hereford will also go for losing to lower league opposition in a piss pot cup competition. Tough gig this football managers lark.
Boxing has been more music hall then sport for a long time, it’s a complete joke IMO, never watch it.
Butler did say he was sticking with this formation WG but we have changed shape occasionally during matches this season so you never know he may switch to a 4-4-2 mid game and give it a go. Beck may well start on the bench but a second half shift to 4-4-2 with Beck on and Clunan binned in midfield for two wingers in Carlton and Roberts might just convince him things can be different. Fingers crossed but anyway welcome to Mr Beck, lots of luck young man.

Signing Beck screams 4-4-2, alongside Whitehall up top with Roberts and Carlton playing in their correct effective positions on the wings with Beestin and Williams in midfield. Clunan bench warming and the defence is a lottery anyway with the amount of recent defensive mistakes. Hopefully we would be more on the front foot with this formation and the defence might benefit from not being under quite so much self inflicted pressure. Go on Butler give it a go, can’t be any worse than recent performances surely?

We had three unprofessional mistakes by three separate defenders against Southport but those players get miraculously picked every game, we all see players differently and plenty of regulars this season for us have made consistent mistakes by professional standards so let’s judge all and not just one based on so few appearances. Butler clearly doesn’t fancy him end of and I’m pleased he’s getting his chance at a place he’s wanted.

Bit harsh with the lack of consistent game time he’s received under Butler, if he’d played as much as Clunan he might have made a real impression, we shall never know now.

Hope Fin goes to Spennymoor and does really well like last time and earns himself a contract with them next season. We have treated him like shite IMO.

Yeah bill but you still think you will go to heaven when you die so whats the big deal?,chill out FFS.
Crikey, Bad ( rivers of blood ) Enoch he was another bell end from the right
God is a Spirit,infinite,eternal,and unchangeable,in his being,wisdom,power,holiness,justice,goodness,and truth.
Would be nice if you posted something relevant or interesting for a change bill, it’s always a rerun of what’s gone before, boring.
Well if it is Williams whose been training with us for the last six weeks, he wasn’t a striker last time around with us, just another midfielder and we have plenty of those, well a certain type anyway.
Oh yeah,I forgot he was his own dad
Ha ha religion is so weird.
If you could post a video called Bashing the Bishop it might be more appropriate Heathy.
I wonder if Christ ever sodomised young children or gave them a severe beating?, seems all the rage in recent Christian circles, follow the leader and all that? It’s what some cults do.
Hasn’t been the greatest start bill I agree, however when your clearing up 14 years of other people’s shite these things take time, be patient Mr Christian, at least your bishop did the right thing, pity he left it so late.
Either way it’s a wage saved long term.
If Williams does sign I hope his lightweight doesn’t weigh heavy on the treatment table, I’m not convinced he’ll last long in NLN.
Does the wage saved mean new signings are hopefully announced very soon?
As long as the fans laud him that makes it alright then, unbelievable Jeff could you actually make this numb skulled approach up, apparently in Awaywego’s world you can.
If it was the same coloured shirt and a few miles eastwards on the M62, AWG would have a different tune, fact.
Awayhypocrisygo, well it is his middle name after all.
I know les, sometimes when you state the actual facts it’s a real head scratcher when the reality doesn’t back them up.
Yes it’s very strange when an ex professional footballer with over 600 career appearances, professional coaching badges and a wealth of professional football knowledge gleaned from well over 20 years in the professional game doesn’t realise he’s getting it wrong, whereas a group of well intentioned football fans with I’m guessing no professional based knowledge of the game whatsoever save observing the game over many years can. It always has baffled me that.

How do you know they’re not allowed to press? Have they told you?
Butler addressed the issue on Humberside post match, he said the plan was to let the Buxton keeper have the ball and not press him because of the system they were playing. Make of that what you will, I always think pressing the keeper can force a mistake occasionally but then again I’m not a football manager.
Rene is clearly a very passionate fan and can be entertaining at times on this forum but he gets a little carried away sometimes, I’m guessing even he realises that particular post of his was complete rubbish.

My spies are also suggesting Luke Williams.
What’s the logic in signing a former player whose career has been blighted with reoccurring injury, haven’t we been down that road enough in the past?
The naivety getting players suckered in to go towards the corner flag as if Buxton had some master plan routine, well it worked , they lobbed an ordinary cross into the box and the lad who scored had all the room in the world to execute his free header into the net, good move, bad defending.
Charlie?
Ee, I’ve had some laughs!
Charlie’s famous line about his football career, ” I wasn’t very good at football but I could stop those playing who were “.
