“Some supporters are even keen on calling him a ‘scruffy bastard’”
TBF that’s one chant he couldn’t complain about.
Apart from questioning his parentage of course.
Wooo woo woo woo to that.
AB said post match FG a new forward was due in Tuesday/ Wednesday this week so around now. He said he just had to double check with the players club to finalise things but he wouldn’t give any names out to Olly on RH.
Shouldn’t Mr & Mrs Wino who were clearly seen and heard by fans sat near to them be reported and banned from the ground for their behaviour, if there is a club fine maybe the club could take out a private prosecution and get some money out of them towards said fine?

Don’t humour him NI FFS he admits he doesn’t know and it’s nowt to do with OP.
You’ve said it now you can’t dodge anymore.
Think Burnham missed his chance when he ran against Corbyn , as a union member I voted for him back then but he didn’t really gain any ground against the far left candidate or Russian sympathiser or whatever Corbyn was, most people I talked to reckon he was a fruitcake, Corbyn not Burnham I mean.

Well you finally admitted you don’t know, guess that’s a start.
Cracking shot for their second goal but a keeper beaten inside his near post is never a good look, shit happens sometimes.
….and another forward in on loan next week according to to AB post match today on Humberside, good we need cover for Whitehall if he gets a knock, Carlton and Dec are different types of forward compared to Whitehall, we don’t have a similar replacement in the building, will be interesting to see who turns up.
Didn’t hear the foul mouthed woman but in the section near me in the Threadgold we have a regular shouter affectionately named Portland Bill because he has a voice like a foghorn. He regularly gives the ref in every home game a lot of verbal but it’s all good natured, Savage got his treatment today but there was no bad language just very loud winding up and banter. Fair play to Savage I thought he handled the banter very well but the swearing is totally out of order IMO. Nice to see Savage go straight to AB at the final whistle and embrace him no doubt congratulating him on the win.

Was very lively when he came on, scored a good goal and continued causing the FG defence problems right up to full time, well done Carlton, really chuffed for you lad.
Great entertainment, FG were fast and physical and the ref was rather lenient first half till the pen award. Second half much better from the Iron, FG will point to hitting the woodwork twice and us heading one off our own goal line but we could have notched a couple more from good positions but a great advert for National League football. Chuffed to get the win after working hard to achieve it and we need more games like this at the AA, really enjoyed it.
F all yanks.
Lol, that’s a broad sweep!
I believe it’s just a reaction to a surfeit of the orange faced idiot over the last few days, some yanks are ok.
Git indeed.
Are we about to to change our nickname from The Iron to The Cabbage Patch Dolls?
I think there might be several of us who could leave quietly but not by choice, which could explain some absentees.
I believe Bartonscorpion joined that club.
I guess it’s a modern take on talking bollocks, there’s plenty of that going on in the IHP.
Another cracking away win against a really good side, need to follow this up with a home win over FG on Saturday, come on Iron.
Wonder where he gets his info from? We know he doesn’t look on social media lol, the man’s a dick.
He may have his faults but he’s not a dick. Completely out of order.
Even the great Brian Clough occasionally fell out with fans.
Remember Cloughie when trying to encourage fans to leave the pitch slapping one across the face( really funny ) then meeting up in a tv studio a few days later and giving the fan a kiss again really funny. Different world back then.
Player of the season, so far, for me.
Agreed with Horton a close second.
Surely we need to keep either Dec or Carlton plus another forward in, we have just binned two forwards either back to their clubs or out on loan till May?, any injuries to Whitehall and we are short on decent forward cover.
If a Boreham Wood victory on Tuesday, A forest Green win at Glanford park next Saturday, any criticism of Butler ?
I’m sure the “ shouldn’t have given him a new contract so early “ brigade will be on here moaning but in truth what Butler has achieved so far since becoming manager is more than worthy of a new deal IMO. Promoted in his first season, nine points clear in the playoffs with two games in hand and competing against several other clubs with bigger budgets is impressive stuff, give AB a break and if people want to moan, moan at the players who seem to sit back under their own choice on the field.

Seemed a lot of stoppage time but anyhow disappointing result to drop two points so late in the game, such is life.
Anyhow we are losing at the moment and paperwork has nowt to do with that, come on Iron get your finger out.
The club’s version of events on the website says they got all their paperwork completed on time, maybe the international clearance is out of their hands and it’s a waiting game for the football authorities to act ?
Google reckons it takes 4 to 8 weeks for a new pitch to settle before regular games are played on it and warmer temperatures settle the pitch quicker, certainly nothing in that information suggests Rochdales time scale sounds right.
Also do you think it would be OK to charge £5 for parking in my driveway
You should charge them a tenner and if you set up a little barbecue outside you could knock out some cheap bacon butties too, that would really piss the club off, lol.
Isn’t it one of those semi synthetic pitches or have I just made that up?
Simples indeed NI, maybe our generation had a more rounded education after all, no iPads or smartphones back then for us thickos.
