It’s a work in progress and most sensible minded people realise that, the fact we have reached a World Cup semi final for the first time in 28 years and a Euro Final for the first time ever, both in the last 3 years speaks volumes. Hungary played well last night and worked incredibly hard over 90 minutes to achieve a good result, we should give some credit and be more realistic. We won’t win every game just because we are England as won’t France, Brazil etc etc.

It was just the usual spin and PR bullshit presented in a slightly different way then the last statement. The little taster about the ground being transferred back at some point because things to put that right are being worked on blah blah blah. We are fu***d unless we get sold because the main man don’t give a toss anymore, end of.😡

Oh it was his intention right enough BRI, as usual you are far too generous.
Will minority shareholders need to sign an NDA to allow them to attend?
No Dicks Allowed? Surely that rules the entire board out from attending their own meeting? 😂

You’re as pathetic now as you always were, Fans, which is one reason I rarely post on here these days.
The language in your last comment sums you up. Disgraceful.
You were wrong again but don’t have the balls to apologise, you should really get over yourself. Pathetic as always?, you certainly are Tory boy.
True colours.
….”come shining through”, in your case they certainly do.
Let’s keep the Newcastle takeover in perspective, consecutive British Government’s over many years have moaned about the Saudi human right record being appalling but have done billions of pounds of trade deals with them to the betterment of this country. Hypocritical? Yes, are they really bothered? No. I don’t see why Newcastle fans should suddenly become the moral compass of the nation when British Government’s over the years could not really give a toss. All Geordie fans want to see is a successful football team on the pitch and once the Saudi money has also helped redevelop parts of the surrounding area to make it better and hopefully more prosperous then I’m sure memories of atrocities committed over the years will hardly be mentioned. Let’s face it the human race has a lot of compassion when it suits them and couldn’t give a toss when it suits them too. The Premiership is built on greed, why should we be surprised or really care about this latest episode. Good luck Newcastle, give Man U and the rest hell in years to come.

And Mike Ashley just sold his club to a bunch of murderers.
I’m not sure what the relevance of your comment is Awaywego but if your suggesting we as fans are somehow better off then Newcastle fans I don’t think many on here will agree. Fans don’t get a say who runs their club and that is the problem in football full stop but can you see if changing?

Yep it’s been a joint f**k up between Swann and Cox, one can’t manage a football club and the other can’t manage a football team. I have backed Cox since he arrived because I believe we have changed managers too often with nothing more then a long term negative on the team being the result but this season is just a complete disaster. If you can’t motivate players and get your tactics right on a regular basis then you have to go, injuries withstanding the manager and his staff haven’t been good enough but the overall culprit is Swann. He won’t leave so Neil will have to, that’s how the chain of command works in life but the Chairman’s handling of all things SUFC is shameful.

I think you meant to say that he is in the same category as Dickie Rooks and Ron Bradley.
Spot on les but in fairness to WG he wouldn’t have been around when you and I and indeed many others on this forum were witnessing the twin disasters of Rooks and Bradley. Unfortunately looking back at Iron managers from decades ago doesn’t help our current position one iota, maybe a bit of perspective but that’s about it.

Going well isn’t it?
Yep it’s going great, are our expectations low enough for you now Mr Chairman to satisfy your overblown ego? Just put us up for sale and piss off.

Muldoon hatrick?
Spotty? 🤔 Peter Cook will be spinning in his grave.

We all know where the responsibility lies Cass before any pointless shareholder meeting.

Hurst signed some good players when he was here as was stated earlier but he chose to stand his ground when challenged by The Great Dictator, or as he is known round here The Great Dick. Lot of time for Hurst he was gradually turning us round and we were starting to become a good football side again until the axe came, I’m sure he will get Grimsby promoted and we are odds on for trading places come May.

….while I steal your ground.
Shame some of our fans decided to make a disappointing night even worse – a bloke in his 50’s getting kicked out for trying to get to the home fans in a Pizza trophy game is embarrassing.
Awaywego or one of his disciples maybe 🤔😂
October 5, 2021 at 9:47 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214881So despite all your gobbing off Awaywego and calling those who will only be chanting protest slogans against Swann & Co this Saturday pussies, you won’t be taking part in any protest whatsoever yourself!!! What a mixed up contrary weirdo you are. Oh of course your just having a laugh— twat.

Before anyone else says it I do need to get out more.
Maybe you do need to get out more MK but not to GP where disappointment surely awaits you.
October 5, 2021 at 6:38 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214865…..but they are thick enough to break the law and believe that is a way forward to achieve their aims eh? Boy you really do have a slate loose but then you are a self confessed violent offender at football matches when you were a younger man, so no-one should be surprised by your Neanderthal attitude to problem solving.
October 5, 2021 at 2:55 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214852You tell me Awaywego you are the one advocating breaking the law in some form of protest, I’m guessing Oldham have their fair share of dickheads too.
October 5, 2021 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214845That’s alright then let’s all go and break the law and possibly cause injury to others by throwing things, all because a certain poster on here has a slate loose.

If the fans are going to be as deep in drink as Awaywego suggests it may well be,
“Throwing up throwing up throwing up”, and thats before they have witnessed the shite in front of them.1 user thanked author for this post.

Agree with all that Ironawe, except for, in shit street.
Well we should agree on this Awaywego as we are both long term Iron fans who only want what’s right for our club but unless you have another name for shit, I honestly believe that’s where we are under this current Chairman. Would you rather Steve Wharton was still in charge, if his health would allow? I believe the majority on here who compare our debt and league record under him and our previous ownership of our own ground compared to now would agree we would be better off. No brainer really.
1 user thanked author for this post.
A good chairman isn’t one who does the fans bidding its one who runs the club responsibly and hopefully in time can push the club forward. After Steve Wharton, Swann came in and stated the club would be run more professionally, well several years later, several stated failed ambitions later, one ground grab due to a self inflicted 11 million quid deficit later, we are where we are. In shit street, thanks Mr Chairman

October 4, 2021 at 2:51 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214753I don’t approve of anything thrown on the pitch even paper planes, if they are thrown on in volume then the game has to be stopped while they are cleared away, one might even fly into a player or officials eye, it’s just childish it’s against the law and you should not condone such behaviour or make light of it but you will because your still rather childish when discussing the subject of objects being thrown onto a football pitch.
Buck trends eh Awaywego, well maybe your right but as things currently stand it’s just a complete buck up.

October 4, 2021 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214741Well thanks for your edit Awaywego but if you are advocating the throwing of objects at games as part of the protest against the board currently running our club then I don’t believe you will get much support on here. Any perceived violent and illegal action ( which it is ) will immediately be seized upon by the Swann family and turned against the support in the media to strengthen their hand in any debate about how the club is being run. Any instant gratification you receive ( or probably dick stiffening in your case ) from throwing an object onto the playing surface will be lost in the long run of the argument because you are breaking the law. I know you think you are being funny or clever but for once, grow up, FFS.
