Nice to read our club and fans will have less travelling next season then in the National League, nice little bonus this lower league malarkey.

” Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive “, after the forum and the 24th I’m sure we will be closer to knowing.

I see Slocombe got subbed for extra time, didn’t fancy him in the shootout maybe, either way I’m pleased for Notts, best footballing side to watch in National League IMO.

Don’t think Pat will be applauding if the deal doesn’t go through, he’s a genuine Iron fan and will be thoroughly pissed off, annoyed and not a little upset. Not sure what you will say iron insider apart from I told you so….. maybe a smirk aswell?

Isn’t it about having control and ultimately power over people?, certainly was in the middle ages.

Well some of the best run train services in the world are run by governments, most of them have modern rolling stock which I guess helps for running a more efficient system. Probably chasing profits isn’t a paramount concern although I don’t have the figures for that. Most are on time though and cancellations are pretty rare.

On the point about the accounts DM, was there not a three month extension granted and we are still in that period? Why there was a request for that extension has not be disclosed but I’m guessing it’s quite a normal practice regarding company accounts, unless you know different?

On a couple of those points DM, Hilton changed his mind on two of them after listening to fan feedback, whether he should have asked for fan feedback before his original decisions were announced is a point already discussed but the main takeaway is he changed his mind after listening. Regarding JD, well the free transfer bonanza was a gamble that failed but DH obviously thought he had to try something and how much input the new manager had in to that we don’t know for sure. Hilton has said that next season will be the yardstick by which JD will be judged and whether some fans agree that is a good or a bad thing withstanding, the new owner has made his decision as is his right as owner.

Actually them’s the rules of the current Government who will push this boat issue all the way to election day and say they are taking the majority of the British people with them, despite a lack of hard evidence to back their claims. Meanwhile their ham fisted approach to running the country and ignoring far more important issues will continue.

Everything you have is because somebody went on strike, ingrate!

your wasting your time, people fought for years and some even gave their lives to earn the right to vote, now some cant be bothered to vote because ” there all the same anyway “. Yet somehow causing disruption that might effect a football match is the end of the world, you could not make up the mindset of some but unfortunately its for real folks.

If that’s how you interpret my response DM then that is your right but the point about where all this stuff about DH and how we discuss it does appear to end up in two camps being split with no resolution and until the sale of the ground and land is resolved this month it’s just getting none of us anywhere. It’s just a rehash of the same old stuff which means nowt, unless you thing it actually means something which IMO it doesn’t without a resolution either way between the parties involved. Hey ho carry on.

I thought the football was as low as we could go but the close season on here is just a frigging shite show. Behave yourselves the lot of ya.

😳 No one’s forcing you to read people’s views. The idea of a forum is that people contribute with views that may not align with yours but you accept and discuss them rather than assuming the role of head teacher.

Nothing of the sort DM, I read a few posts and gave an opinion and being forced to read what is on here is a pretty poor response IMO but it’s just an opinion the same as others who post on here. As for acceptance and discussion, haven’t we all been down the same wormhole regarding Hilton in recent weeks, or is it months and the conclusions reached have been split by the same members on here including myself. It’s just repetition for the sake of it and we should all be better than this, again IMO.

An well, trying to change things ain’t gonna be easy but surely it’s worth the effort just to see JI and others like him get triggered. Worth the entrance fee alone and even more reason to keep pushing for change. Great post Gurny BTW.

Perhaps people thinking looking up to others ( not parents that’s different, I mean more class wise ) is a good thing, bit like doffing the cap and calling people of so called ” higher breeding ” sir? Doesn’t wash with me, we are all born the same but privilege and class determining your future has never seemed the slightest bit fair or correct , just my opinion. As for them being morally superior or leading by example, well that’s been shown up to be false so many times and if we are all classed as being vulnerable to human frailties then we should all start on a level playing field. Bit like kids who grow up to be natural leaders be it sporting or industry based the talented will rise to the top if given an equal opportunity but then our social system isn’t fair is it, because of privilege.

With virtually the entire media system be it newspaper or television pushing the royal agenda it’s not hard to see how the gullible are easily convinced. It’s a national stitch up, always has been always will until we bin em off or someone blows them all up en masse.

He was managing Palace when we won 4-0 at Selhurst Park back in the Championship days, he described the result as the worst day of his managerial career. Bloody idiot.
