Sadly Cass, there appears to be a fair number on there, including their admin, that continue to post untruths about Bru and appear to be relishing the ‘us and them’ aggro. Indeed, there appears to be a fair number of hoolies and wannabe hoolies on there. I fail to see how Mr Hilton / White’s posts are helping matters. They just seem to fan the flames. If a conversation between he and Matt takes place, if nothing else, I hope it helps to stop these needless accusations and untruths from some of their members, directed at Bru. Not confident mind.
Just one quick positive to share in Hilton’s post. He said he’s hoping to speak to Matt at Iron Bru today. In the context of trying to create fan unity.

Debts serviced by further loans. That’s a big concern as it leaves club very precarious. Or should I not be bothered about this? Happy to see sensible replies. Just a point and question. Thanks.

Back on topic, just reviewing recent posts on the Scunny Fans Facebook page I came across this from Stuart Johnson. I think this is fair:
‘The only thing I will say is that I don’t understand the hate for Iron Bru.
Their site is an open forum, it has been since it began. Anybody can post on there and the posts are not moderated or pre-approved. It was spoken about highly before this group was created.
As for it being toxic and negative; it maybe is now, but that’s the fault of this Facebook group isn’t it? All posts in here have to be pre-approved by the admins; one of which won’t approve posts that asks questions or doesn’t match his own personal views. That means there’s no discussion, and only one way of thinking. If you don’t conform to that at all times then you have this groups hate mob in your inbox, all over your Twitter, and even spitting at you at games. You say Iron Bru is toxic; but this group is probably more toxic.
This group has directly led to the huge divide in the fanbase and been nothing but negative overall. It’s only led to arguments between fans, and because people get overwhelmed by the hate mob if they don’t confirm they then go and share their views on Iron Bru, probably whilst pissed off, and that site then becomes toxic by proxy.
I’ll openly admit I’m in this group, on Iron Bru, and on Twitter because I’m a nosey bastard; but this group is by far the most toxic and divisive, and we’d likely all be much happier if it closed.’

Perhaps the newly appointed boards influence is already beginning to show and the Chairman is taking note.
Maybe. One would hope someone with a bit of sense advised him to come off it, particularly after the Trumpesque Bru witch-hunt, the Bradley Guest accusation and the disgusting inexcusable Tweet from someone that followed last night.

A company has 9 months after each financial year end to submit audited or examined accounts Cass (if income is above a threshold-can’t remember what it is now). Hilton took over the company before the 9 month period was up, before Swann submitted them (I have to submit them for a company and always leave it till the last minute tbh as it’s quite tedious helping to prep them with the accountant), so the responsibility became his as sole Director at the time. All incorporated companies have to do this by law to ensure they’re operating within the law and not dodgy dealing. This is why people are rightly questioning Mr Hilton / White’s past filing records for past and present businesses. Though, that is not to suggest anything outside of the law has been taking place. I’m just explaining how it works, why, and why people are asking questions.
