Why would anyone want a refund?
Why wouldn’t they?
…to discuss with them and organise a refund if they still want it.
Can stick a bit more in if the email alert didn’t result in hitting the target amount.

Lol, I’ve seen far bigger errors on here over the years.
Very thoughtful and balanced piece which Mr White has responded to in a fair amount of detail…on Facebook.
Telling people exactly what they want to hear has also been a successful approach to PR.
True. When I said ‘a fair amount of detaìl’, I meant fairly lengthy for him in a Facebook post. I’m not commenting on the substance of the text. It was also a reference to my criticism of him using Facebook and that particular group in a seemingly exclusive manner

Lol, ‘it’s on your terms’. Yeah, bit too much to expect interviews with independent journalists isn’t it. How greedy of me.
Plenty of other tasks he could turn his hand to in between all that. Andy ‘polymath’ Butler.
Okay, think I’ve got it: ‘worry not…if we don’t…if he can’t manage’..etc
An interesting take on ‘certainty’ if nothing else. Think it’s called spreading your bets. However you don’t seem too certain about Dean.
‘Don’t people have the simple choice to view if they want Deerey, that’s what you normally advocate on here’
Your usual contrary type response. Of course they have a choice. I haven’t advocated a Facebook fans group to be the key platform to hear from the owner. You’re completely missing or ignoring the point. But that’s par for the course.
Lol, ‘the Real Madrid of NLN’. We’d better had ‘piss the league’ then, as you’re fond of saying. Otherwise we’ll be a laughing stock.
It is. And quite reactionary.
Having to research info and updates about club affairs (signings apart) via social media does have it’s fun aspects though-you can come across all manner of ex-schoolmates happy clapping (even though they only ever supported Man U, Leeds or Liverpool and constantly derided the Iron), ex-teachers, who were always a bit loopy tbh, daft friends of friends who now see themselves as some sort Iron overlords, and old workmates you never even knew supported the Iron before Wembley 1999!
Posted on the Scunny Fans Facebook page, which seems to be the only place he communicates on. Call me old fashioned but whats happened to communicating via local/ regional news and media outlets like our rivals do? Is this the new order? Facebook or nowt? Surely it makes sense to update supporters on a wider scale to give the club more exposure and attraction ?

According to this person on the Scunny Fans Facebook group, there doesn’t appear to be any problems and everything in the garden is rosy, particularly communication. Shame these supposed fantastic interactions are limited to Facebook. What about the majority of fans who don’t access it? To be frank, I think it’s piss poor limiting interaction to a sycophantic Facebook group.
‘Can we just have an appreciation post for David White , for amazing interaction/contact with the fans , for saving not just my club but OUR club , for keeping us all in the know with any information regarding the situations of the ongoings at the club , signings etc , just a massive thank you for giving us all Iron fans faith again into what’s been some really troubled few years . Thank you so much , we all have your back . There’s a few idiots but for every 1 idiot there’s a 1000 iron fans supporting you the whole way , so Thank you. Oh and one more thing , Up the f****** Iron !’

Apologies for the close season silliness – gone a bit Monty Python…
Does the ‘silent Christian’ have to jump when you say ‘jump’? If he farts when he jumps does he become ‘the flatulent Christian’.
You can see how seriously I’m taking this…

Deerey:
The guy will no doubt be referring to those concerned about women’s only prison spaces, facilities and sport being eroded as transphobes no longer welcome. Along with those concerned about scandals like Tavistock, where autistic and gay kids or teens were pushed onto medicalisation. Such things seem important enough to care about, for me.
‘No doubt’? Sorry, but that’s an assumption. You can’t know he’s referring to people like that with legitimate concerns. Don’t really appreciate your implication that I’m not bothered about those issues just because I’m not as big on them as someone like yourself, frankly. And my point still stands about Hartley Brewer and that TV Channel, and Wickes. I’m sure you’ve got enough battles on Twitter to be dealing with, without finding one with someone who is sympathetic to the points you made.
Is this the sort of thing that’s of great concern to you BPG? I can think of more important things tbh.
In answer to your question, no I won’t be boycotting Wickes.
Is that your TV channel of choice featuring Hartley Brewer? They should re-brand it Hell TV
True, but everyone can access it if they want to. Can’t see a great deal happening on the Scunny Fantastical group, though David White was replying to a few disciples yesterday. No point in sharing it as some people on here still don’t think it’s David Hilton 🤣
That’s because there’s so few of us over here 64. Like spending a long Christmas with relatives. Inevitably we soon turn our gazes to each other as opposed to focusing on having a good time.
Not a ‘bees nest’ JI;I mean a hornets nest. Bees live in houses of course. My favourite Bucks anecdote is when he stuck his head in a hornets nest by accident. Something about the delivery, even in written form was comedy gold :)
I’ve got it! Are you a fly II?
Did anyone get whacked though?
Didn’t see that. Nice exchange between Nelson and Roj Rahman though 👍
Yes, I was being genuine JI. Shan’t mention the bees nest loving one again (well, it’s summer after all!).

Glad some of you got it. I was beginning to wonder, and half expected Heart of Darkness style ‘the horror!’ exclamations
My money’s on him not running for PM for any party in the future. Didn’t he bemoan the salary at some point? Think he’ll be happy sniping from the sidelines and shit stirring whilst making much more money from other cushsty roles. With less scrutiny.
Oh dear JI, you seem to be adopting the Bucks victimisation complex (left v right pile on) simply because a number of non right wing posters on here disagree with you and are expressing that. I really don’t understand it tbh. Hope you’re not about to journey down the ‘predictable usual suspects’ route? You’re better than that. You should be able to tell from various recent exchanges across both sides of the forum that the non right wing are far from agreeing with each other on many topics, football and non football.

“Any Conservative MP who would vote for this report is fundamentally not a Conservative”, says Nadine. In other words, there might just be a bit of decency in you 🤣🤣
