I’m still interested as it happens.

Nice to have a reasonable discussion without the tedious accusations of loving Swann or hating Hilton. Or being frequently told to ‘wait and see’. AA is right to point out that it’s dragging on a bit now. The elephant in the room.

I’ve said similar things regarding new sponsors being good news (I’m not all doom amd gloom). Someone is doing a good job of convincing them. However, I’m not equating that with more surety over where we’re playing next year, unless I hear that Hilton has agreed a sale or rent agreement with Swann. Obviously we don’t see the sponsorship agreements either, which could potentially have clauses around not playing at GP, if a deliverable commercial benefit is branding at GP. If I was a sponsor, I’d be asking what happens to a specific benefit if the club is evicted? If I was happy with the explanation, I’d have that written in the agreement. It’s not difficult to negotiate that.
Exactly that Siderite – include many Twitterers too.
WG, wasn’t implying you’ve adopted this stance. You clearly haven’t. However, still don’t know where you’re getting this supposed AA / Swann love in from. About as cast iron as your BadApple multiple accounts theory!
If we’re evicted any time from now, do we have permission from the authorities to play at Gainsborough or another stadium?
Is it someone’s back yard?
A poor man’s GB News? That’s abject poverty btw.
Clearly winds a few of you up. That aside, what evidence do you have that Bad Apple has created any other accounts? Because I can’t see any tbh.

What has AA posted to suggest he’s a fan of Swann? Not worshipping at Dave’s altar doesn’t necessarily equate to being a fan of, or the son of, Peter Swann.
Fantasy football’s based on the real thing

Blimey, that’s some prediction! If he’s off to Hull there’s a good chance he’ll go out on loan to a league club at some point?
Transfer expected to be complete thus week. He’s already sent this message of thanks:

Isn’t he banned from GP?
I really hope he comes good and we’re saved another manager merry-go-round!

I don’t expect to hear from him full stop. Everyone accepts wait and see, they have no choice. That doesn’t and shouldn’t stop wondering out loud what might happen. If we took that stance with on field matters there’d be nothing to talk about. And wondergoals would be redundant…
I’m a bit concerned about how he’s going to manage a few ego’s in the squad who may not appreciate being a sub often in NLN. Also don’t want to see too much rotation that may result from that. If Dean’s not going to make it work I think we’ll know way before Christmas
You’re right Les, no company would want to sponsor a dodgy enterprise. I wasn’t insinuating it was dodgy, but there are still big questions over the ground and sustainability.
Agents reputations? Don’t they live and die on getting good transfers and increasing player wages? They can’t legislate for a club potentially going tits up.
We’ve not heard a word from Swann since Hilton took over. Its not a case of him suddenly going quiet. Can’t see why we would now with lawyers involved.
Just trying to keep things in perspective here.

Couple of questions Les:
Who are the new accountant backers?
Since when have agents cared that much about set up? I thought their modus operandi was commission from transfers and increased player wages? Unless I’ve got that wrong?
How do you know Swann has stopped flapping? Where’s that info come from?
Don’t get me wrong, some very good things are happening (good signings early doors, a groundswell of support from fans and sponsors, etc). However, there are huge concerns over GP still, and budget sustainability.
Ì’d rather this tribalism (clappers v moaners) didn’t exist but it’s difficult not to fall into that trap when critical thinking is frequently undermined or derided. Probably similar for those who are more optimistic who get tired of being labelled happy clappers. I think it’s wise to be cautious and sceptical though. Don’t want a repeat of previous mistakes do we?

Is the cloth, silk? It would appear so.
Lol, ‘I love shirts in a pub’. Earlier on there I saw someone claiming you get 3 points for winning a friendly match. Brilliant
Too deep for me.
Obviously they won’t be ringing me. Not sure why you’re moaning about me having an interest in the only club I’ve supported all my life and a concern for fellow supporters who have shelled out nearly £2k, some of whom have had problems obtaining a refund. Maybe you’re not bothered? Some of us are.

In English?
About 60 a few months back. Mr Dave said he’d had a list with a couple of members on who he would be calling before issuing a refund. Glad I didn’t sign up waiting for that call 😯
The Cult of Dave works in mysterious ways 🤣

Quite a bit. Not least because purchasers were told Hilton had bought the the club, stadium and land, were they not?
