There are idiots on the Facebook group still posting pointless meaningless stuff like this: ‘someone is feeding swann information’. Like they think it’s difficult for him to be following ongoings and reading what Hilton / White has been posting.

I think there’s going to be a lot of anger and denial about for a bit. I felt angry about Swann selling to Hilton months ago once the subsstantiated info started coming out and initiatives like the 1899 scheme were launched. I can only be angry for so long though. Now just very disappointed that he sold to him. I’m more concerned with what next?

It’s important to clarify this. If nothing else, it demonstrates a pre-emptive strike to the brown stuff hitting the fan. It was pretty obvious something was afoot.

Also, for anyone still doubting if the statement is by anyone else but Peter Swann, ask yourself why it’s not been deleted. Also consider, that the contents of the statement have been published, unlike much of the content from Mr Hilton at the fans forum, which many of us didn’t attend but were told he spent a large portion of that event criticising Swann.

I think when the dust settles, it would be beneficial to think ahead about the implications of Mr Swann’s statement and where this leaves Hilton / White / Anderson (whatever his real name is), rather than ranting about Swann himself, when the chances are he’s not going to reply. We can’t turn back the clock and do anything about it now. It may also be worth some posters reviewing the many previous questions and concerns raised on here and elsewhere, in a different light.

Doubt there will be many doing that. Hilton’s already pre-empted something like this and stoked them up. The majority on there are idiots IMO. As for finding a solution, Swann’s stated he’s open to negotiations so I’d say the ball is in Hilton’s court.

IMO he’s just playing to a gallery of which there are barely any critics (Facebook group), and those that do ask too many questions get pelted by the mob. That initself suggests deflection and a tactic to quell further questioning. The younger ones may fall for it, the older ones just want calm and stability so jump on board regardless.
