I agree with Awaywego, and i think Boreham Wood will be at least in the playoffs, the best footballing side i have seen this season at Glanford Park. A decent friendly manager too, especially joining in with Hi Ho scun United before the game started !
So if Boreham Wood are in the play offs with a limited budget, probably lower than ourselves, we should be too.
Do listen to The interview with the Braintree manager, he talked a lot of sense and the 4 subs was genius.
Away at Altrincham, players missing, can see an iron loss.
Then next home game Tom Tonks Tamworth, a home loss very possible, can we say ‘ WHAT’S GOING ON ? ‘

I would rather have Braintree’s subs than ours. They changed the game, ours did not. Agree with all of you, Dawson, Beck and include Carlton and Eze, just not good enough for the national league.
What does Butler see in them that most supporters don’t, sorry AB, a fair criticism, please don’t stare at me…

to 64 and Awaywego, i have criticized the team and Butler and Mr. Butler looked my way in the Threadgould stand mouthing something and pointing to me and pointing out like he wanted me thrown out the ground !
The assistant manager calmed Butler down. I was shocked like the fan yesterday, as butler will get shouted at if the performances are not good enough, that’s football, maybe the wrong career for Butler.
Bring back Jimmy Dean, a nice guy, who would apologize if they had not played well.

We were very poor today, hanging on against Aldershot at home, poor at Boston, should have won at eastleigh, poor against yeovil at home
a good beating was going to happen, against Solihull who wanted it more.
The start of a bad run i think, do not call me positivity, as the iron are rubbish.
Butler playing Boyce instead of belahoun ??
We need to strengthen if we want promotion..
Mo Fadera at worksop in National league north, should have got him, not that York would allow it !!

Very true ’64’ about the National league on the Wealdstone fiasco.
And that we won 2-1 against Wealdstone, so our goal difference should be 1 goal better, meaning we would go above Carlisle to elbow above them in the League, no pun intended, and be equal with Boreham wood.
At the end of the season that 1 goal could count massively..

Is it 2 automatic then 3rd – 6th in play offs.
Can see the Iron getting 2nd place on current form.

Mr Butler needs to put a stronger team out next round if we draw a league 1 club

Butler promised he was playing a strong team, fooled the fans. The team he played would not have beaten Kings Lynn who looked more interested.
If it was Carlisle or another stronger team we could have been losing more than 2:0 and the game would have been beyond us.
The next round may be against a better opponent so play your best team. Like others have said we need the money.

I have read the Wealdstone match report and although it does not give the reason for the game being abandoned, ( their players refusing to play ) it clearly states they made 4 substitutions. You are allowed 5.
And if they had no more subs, the manager can play, he did in TED LASSO !
