3 times he’s being a board member now, and of course got his 15 minutes of fame at being an owner. Lets hope that’s the last we see of him.

Nobody said the job is easy, just because the last one couldn’t hack it doesn’t mean to say we shouldn’t have another one if the board will allow it.
So long has the person is voted in by relevant supporters groups and sticks to the rules of being a board member then it can only be helpful.

Now wanting money back from Hilton!
Let’s say he raked in £50.000 a game for the 14 league games in charge £700.000
    1300 season tickets say £400.000
The 1899 club or 100 club as it turned out another £200.000 there.
That’s 1.3 million he took in.
Yet paid the tax bill to get us out of the embargo £250.000 we’ll say.
We’ll say 8 months wages February to and including September £150.000 a month say, so that’ll be £1.2 million plus the £250.000tax bill making £1,450.000 he paid out taking for granted he never paid any other bill.
My figures are more than generous for what he raked in. So what money do we want back from Hilton.

It was I’m afraid, went down with the intention of supporting the English team,
that was till we got in the ground. David Coleman and is sportsnight led me to believe the scoucers were the best fans in the country clapping the opposition off fair minded and just generally nice, afraid not just plain nasty bastards continually attacking groups of Brugge fans when they didn’t want to know.
Became a Man u fan in 68 I believe they won something in 68 with far more panache than any Liverpool side has ever done and certainly not the boring 78 1-0 win.

Which moves on to what 64 ponders. Imo there’s no cross over from fans to just being owners that would only arize when they leave the board if they don’t want anything back they were fans if they do then they cross that threshold into owners, and I believe we have seen at least the way which one of the board members would turn out to be.

Can go along with most of that Deerey, we should now able to run just the same as any other club, sponsorships, advertising, and a little bit of fundraising,
You’ve said much the same as Tahinas mission completed letter, the 3 new board members are able (doesn’t say they have yet) to bring much needed funding and getting away from emergency funding.
I like 64 can’t just give money to a private business without something in return. Some of Stu’s efforts of late are more me, a prize of a club shop voucher or and money to help with the running of the away coach travel.
The last thing I would want to see is all the funding for nothing in return and then one board member walking away with what they have put in which is pretty much the norm I think you’ll agree.

Watched the 78 European cup final when it was our wedding anniversary, funnily enough wifey didn’t want to come along. (Good trip with the bus full from the 1500 club and the boot full of beer)
I’m pretty fair though I do allow her to have claim to new years eve and where we go to, hopefully not to far so I can get back to go to footy.

Haven’t listened to it yet on mi hols, is that the total wage bill or just the players wage bill, if it’s for all employees twould seem alright, thinking about it it must be 30 players on £50 grand a piece and butters on £75 grand would only come out at £1.575.000.
£1.7 in normal times (Michelle didn’t get the season ticket money) would have been covered from gate receipts alone so the club should be happy at that can’t see where a problem is with it.

Someone mentioned decision making now we have 4 co owners, would that be the case or aren’t most club decisions made by the board? Or is it the case of the more shares you have the bigger say you have.

Funnily enough Apollo my invite to the north lincs business awards never came through like it did for those at the club, now who paid for the shindig us and who funded it the club (or the family has you say we are)or someone else God knows.
And that’s just how it should be they get the perks and glory and status, and I just pay and go to watch the team.
Always being constant in my stance, supported Swanny till he stopped putting money into the club the same with Hilton didn’t give a shite whether it was their money or borrowed or debt to the club, I don’t want to the club to be run sustainable if it means we have to be just happy with our lot.
So sorry I just don’t buy into this we’re all in it together malarkey or a family (except at matches) then the fans are as good as family, in the main anyway

She was just pissed off just like my wife would be.
Anyone would think shes not allowed to be.

Better to say they had gone there separate ways for the club maybe.

Did Michelle say the club and Hilton had gone there separate ways and leave it at that, no of course she didn’t and you wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Club website says Turnbull is head of football operations. And Michelle is the owner the buck stops with her.

And i consider that to be a good thing instead of Butterfield taking any blame, how many times we’ve wondered what’s gone on well this time we have so thank you Mrs Butterfield. Sceptical well the club could deny it, not like there’s no director on the tuther side who’s seen her posts.

To much of a liability for me sent off twice an added game for all his yellows, even at the nothing game at Gloucester was getting wound up, perfect player for the opposition to target.
And him and fitz have plenty of dodgy moments. On a positive we’ve nearly go a full team now. Let’s see the new blood.

I’m not going to blame Butler at all. Just the head of football operations and Michelle in this case but like someone said we should give some slack in her case being her first time at the rough end.
