Does that put an end to the managed liquidation theory?

Just goes to show Swanny does care a little bit, would like to think that Lee and Neil had a big part to play in it.
Why would he liquidate if there are buyers out there, the liquidators would only look to buyers to get the best deal they can for Swann, which probably wouldn’t be as much as if a straight forward purchase was on the cards.
The fan led review which lots still haven’t read, states that opinions on FED’s are mixed amongst supporters groups which gave evidence, also states a FED will also have fiduciary, responsibilities and confidentiality clauses which mean a FD rarely delivers on fan expectations, imo that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have one now we have, always going to be a thankless role, any other suggestions for the role, Staffy, Jerry, SST, or one of our mods or WG maybe?.
I have said all along “unless he can see a deal going through” Deerey I hope this is still the case, I have said deals can take a very long time, but only he and a few others will know if the last one is still a go’er, I believe you know my sentiments behind my posts Deerey, he’s a great guy to talk to and hope what he has said to comes to Fruition for everyone, Happy to wait on the sale but not on the football side so I have voted with my feet, and only want him to walk to show he’s one of us cos he comes across that he is.
As it stands someone has told us what’s going on, a bid was excepted and until some other statement comes out that’s where we are unfortunately.

Chief O O or not, Lee sought us out at Donny not the other way round, no mention of off field activities other than lower commercial revenues why would there be? It was all about being more successful on the pitch this season. And of course Swann had convinced him he was selling up or he wouldn’t have taken the job he said, I believed him, been to 4 of the last 5 home games which I don’t do normally, no more he sold me a lemon, so yes I want Lee to leave his post, no positive outcome for the club if he did but that wouldn’t be the intention in fact the opposite. He might not take a blind bit of notice of what I think (he should do though he was doing the selling) But I will make it quite clear what I do think next time we meet.
So if we’ve all read the chapter on “fans director” what do you all think he can tell us about any buyers or interested parties? Err nothing. Has anybody got anything on Neil that says he won’t be promoting our interests or concerns at board level, doubt it very much, if the trust and other supporters clubs who put him there aren’t happy I’m sure they’ll do something about it, I will trust them.

Well unless he can still see a deal going through its time for him to walk for his own integrity, he’s sold us the dream but still the nightmare goes on, how can he look himself in the mirror and say he’s delivered, all we wanted was a team to compete albeit in the NL nothing to much to ask, he asked for us to stick by them which the fans have they’ve bought the season tickets and the shirts in better numbers than last season bigger budget than more than half our lge, we told him talk was cheap on Donny station that day its actions we needed to see and that meant on the pitch as well. No one can say I haven’t been behind him from the start in most of my posts and have defended him, now’s the time for him to stand up or down as the case maybe.

The fan led review on football governance chapter7 “Improving fan engagement” explains the role of the fan director. Read then come back and explain why you think he can tell us more than he does, The fan led review encourages clubs to have fan director’s we have one but all we have is divs questioning him and his role, take your years out your arses and give the lad a break.

Have you asked him how he feels fulfilling his role? Or course you haven’t no you just made a snide comment to which he can’t really reply, low blow when you know f all, especially when plenty do know him and voted for him.

What the don’t you understand that our different supporters group elected him, how many times do you need telling?
A bit less traveling though.
The role of the director is to represent and promote the opinions of the fans, if enough of us get in touch and express our disapproval at Hill still being at the helm he will have to act, sent my email in already.

Maybe a ruse by Swann, sacks Hill and takes the job himself claiming he couldn’t do any worse, give him a go.
Bummer Rochdale signed Jim Bentley as manager.
He was elected by the fans CMC
The club have said before they can’t get the parts for the scoreboard.
Blackpool can recall him after 28 days, so not guaranteed to stay till Jan.
One for Neil to deal with.
Maybe because he is there and offers a diferent, better perspective of the game than Hill or his sidekick. Very nice man by the way.

Maybe turn it into an Hollywood blockbuster Deerey.
What about midland teams R, the north south works reasonably well in non lge why not go back to that in the Efl with promotion to the championship 2 and 2.
If that be the case BS why not put us in administration and just keep the ground? What money from the crowd is going into his pockets? Doesn’t he have wages to pay? Where do you think that money comes from? Yes Swann needs to go but if there are no buyers as you say what is the answer? Always told by those who wanted Swanny out they’d be interested parties out there which is it? even Alcy seems to agree theres no one out there so that’s a big come down for him.I was one of those who were worried there wouldn’t be, am I right? Don’t think so otherwise that would make Neil and Lee liars.
Remember Cass this is a man who’ll not take any shite from the players and will stand up to Swann.
Any protests tomorrow? If they are I do hope they are against Hill and not Swann at this moment in time, after all Hill will be there to hear them unlike Swann.
History would say nailed on win for Halifax.
Be prepared for the long haul, you lot are far to impatient. Get in the real world.

Mr Swann as said he’s not putting any money into the club, is that to hard to understand or is he lying? Neil is up front when you ask him a question and if can answer he does, he’ll tell you whether it’s confidential, and that shows integrity to the role I don’t want no more no less from him.

His hands aren’t tied Mick, we all questioned why Lee came back, he told me personally it’s because Swanny assured him he’s selling up, we all know if a new owner comes along the first thing their gonna do is get rid of Hill, he’ll always get another job in football so why handcuff yourself to Hill? He’s done well since he came back but the next meet and greet won’t be as easy as it’s been up to now the fans will want some answers his honeymoon period is over.
