Their goalie made some good stops as well, very good second half and the subs didn’t stop the flow like in other games.

A fair point from Pat though that most noise comes from those who don’t drift far from their keyboards S not heard a bad word about Hilton, Pat or anybody else from those who attended Saturdays game so he does have a point that shouldn’t be dismissed easily.

You must have conveniently missed the bit where I said we told Hilton that we didn’t think he should do social media at all IB so I take no comfort that he’s on there but I didn’t and can’t demand he gets off unlike you demanding he speaks to
local radio the next clown won’t be happy with that and demand he goes on national radio, what did he say to you when you spoke to him? Chance to introduce yourself to him tonight again if you haven’t met him and ask him YOUR questions.

Was led to believe there was a meeting yesterday of the national league, doesn’t seem to have happened for whatever reason.

By Hilton is getting plenty of platitudes on here from usually hostile posters, one from Snot and now IB telling us he chooses his battles and audience’s wisely exactly what you want from an owner.

There you go that seems fair enough to me, and there was everyone slagging him off for not letting Nelson know from himself first, why speak to someone you can’t trust. What’s strange Deerey is it all the new members their getting they must be doing something right, how many new members have we had lately, it wouldn’t be 1 would it a certain Mr Swann lol. Though we might have had a few more after being in the press to see what were all about.

Terms of sale £4,5 million for the ground short term cash required £1 million plus another £1,5 Balance of debts not forgetting £1 for 70.6% of the parent clubs shareholding so anybody out there got a spare £7,000,001?

Re, speaking to Hilton me and MK told him we didn’t think social media was the place for an owner, but then again on the Facebook site someone started a rumour about how many season tickets 600 have been sold trying to create division about the low number, but Hilton comes on and tells everyone 1348 have been sold maybe it’s not so bad after all, still not fully convinced but end of the day it’s down to him.

No we wouldn’t want someone who stands up for everyone and is prepared to put is head above the parapet, far better someone who spouts a lot on forums but never there to be seen especially when the going gets tough, would you fancy the job Brassy you’d have to let yourself well known to all the supporters groups mind, I know your from a stronger footballing background than most.

SNOT, jingles doesn’t go anymore the ban at Rochdale was the end for him, his brother Steve still goes as does mad Mick, Steve Pearson and fozzy, never went myself with them but my son and his mates did and they all turned into model citizens of today, it was the tranny van iron at the time and an holigan element was associated with it not necessarily their van there were a few Toppo’s for one, it was the telegraph and Humberside finest who come up with Trent valley infantry after Halifax away when someone with a gem marker daubed TVI everywhere in the pub they never did get anybody for all their efforts who useless were they? but the lads did tone it down after that, great lads and landlords of the country loved them always outside the pubs before they opened up banging on the door even as further afeild as Torquay and Plymouth.

Var should go back to the basics that we were told and expected (Clear and obvious) no bloody offside lines if it’s that close it’s not clear and obvious, no going back to the build up before scoring or penalty decision’s. To be honest ferrites last paragraph sums it up bang on, let’s get rid of it and like others say just stick with the goal line technology. On a lighter note could AI ever take over the role could it interpret the offside and handball rules when humans can’t agree?

No SNOT everyone is welcome on here whatever their views and can post on whichever thread they want to,didn’t you see all them posts defending the right for Swanny to post on here ya know the man that everyone believes he’s ruined the club and stolen our ground, (I said before he shouldn’t have being allowed to) Pat probably got the paying for the academy themselves from me we did talk about it and what’s so wrong in that why not get funding from local and international businesses I did invite IFA before but he declined St Simon is still about he sponsored whatever last year chip in a bit yourselves if it’s that important to you at the present it’s not to me, at the end of the day Pat invited you all to go and have a look what Hilton has done me and MK did and we were impressed and not just the catering but the whole set up,to easy for most of you just to sit and criticize why not go have a look yourself, you all missed the opportunity most on purpose, you wouldn’t want to see any positivity in anything, Deerey was washing is hair I even offered to pay his train fair and the rest hiding in a cupboard, but you still can go and I’m sure Pat will show you round MK said an hour in the car or £16 on the train, know doubt Hilton will be at Gainsborough Tuesday go and have words and call him out to his face like I do with anything and everyone but of course we all know you won’t especially Pat he and I can see through you all lol.

Yes IFA we did have words about the ground, he was pretty confident that he and his side have acted like any other prospective owner would dealing with who let’s say someone who’s throwing a spanner in the works at every junction. He did obviously tell us more detail on the the ins and outs but I’ll leave it at that, I told him we’re all scared for the club and was reassured a bit more but till it’s settled one way or another we’ll still be on edge and he understands that, but let’s face it he couldn’t or no one else could offer anymore dancing round with Swann, guess we’ve no option but to wait and see. Very nice man though very present throughout the day and you could see was well loved by everyone there always having a chat with old friends.

He shut ilkeston academy as well, and all there left with is 34 teams of all ages playing in an ilkeston shirt, even going to start 3-5 year old sessions on a Saturday morning, now we wouldn’t want any of that nonsense we want an academy obviously funded by anyone but oneself.

Just got in, like MK says a good day out everything that Pat said about the club is true, professional throughout very smart bars and hospitality and ground spic and span and second to none dugouts equal to the premier league as was the foldable tunnel, Pats burgers were good has he says they would be and the pulled pork stuffing crackling and apple sauce was excellent, priced as should be not out to rip you off £3,50 for a cheeseburger £4 for the pork bap exactly what I. was on about when mentioning the £6,50 sausage bap that the cod owner had to offer most of the catering is used every day because the club is open every day, the staff were all very pleasant and weren’t just going through the motions all there to please not like our catering staff, not been to any other club with better catering, spoke to lots of their fans about Mr Hilton everyone praised him and told what it was like before he was there not a bad word from anyone, nice to meet up with MK and sure he will concur or any other fan that attended what Mr Hilton as done for that club, same as MK surprised that there weren’t that many from scunny recommend you all go next year you won’t be disappointed,Ps evidently the pubs were of good order as well, one last thing a big thanks again Pat your enthusiasm and love of your club shon out and you made it a lovely day for me and my grandson.
