Iron Bru understand Scunthorpe United are lining up a move for Harrogate Town striker Jack Muldoon, in a bid to bring him back to the club this summer.

The Scunthorpe born 31 year old started his career in the youth set up at Glanford Park before his release in 2007 and is believed to be high on the list of Neil Cox’s summer targets, as the Iron boss begins to reshape the squad at the Sands Venue Stadium.

It is understood Scunthorpe made an enquiry into Muldoon’s availability in January and look set to reignite their interest ahead of the new campaign.

Muldoon enjoyed a fruitful season with Sulphurites, finishing the League Two campaign with an impressive 15 goals and six assists to his name including a consolation against the Iron in a 5-2 defeat in December.
