Cassidy we employed a shit ton of staff to qualify for the next youth category with designs on moving up to the championship, while that’s well and truly fell down the wayside, we unfortunately are still carrying those staff.

To say we’re over staffed is an understatement. I’ve said it on many occasions. To be honest, it needs well and truly cutting back.

By all means if we get to that positions again and we need to take into consideration upscaling again, great but we don’t need all of them at this moment in time.

Big question is though how much it would cost to restructure the staff to a league 2 sized structure. Yes, they will all obviously need paying and will drain the club but it’s finding the money upfront to pay them off which I fear may be the issue.

I’d go with Tisdale. I wouldn’t be against Crosby being number one though with Byrne as his right hand man.

Keith Hill plays dreadful kick chase football. Slade is so poor I don’t even know where to start with him.

If you look at the squad, it’s fairly strong in all areas besides the GK position. If we sign an experienced, solid GK, it will do us the world of good.

I don’t think Swann will want to though. Swann was asked if he thought we needed an experienced gk on Hullberside a while back and he didn’t sound too keen.

If he bites the bullet and signs a really good, commanding and experienced Gk…we’ll be in quite a handy position in terms of squad strength.

Cm was worrying we slightly but an energetic box to box left footed CM player is just what we needed. It would be a great shame if he didn’t sign a keeper because we’re pretty much covered in all other areas.

We need a bit more experience too so would be ideal from that standpoint as well.

    High turn over of managers
Managers seemingly don’t even have control on what players arrive
Contract fiasco which just about pissed off the whole squad a few seasons ago
The long running Swann stand off with the council, mud slung back and forth
Signing players last minute before the deadline, seemingly very little planning and not far off going down

If it’s not been a shambles, it must be awfully close.

Dont recognize “this club as been a shambles for some time” one relegation and a mediocre season last year, Hurst had started to get us in the right direction but that doesnt make us a shambles.

Blimey, you must be one of lives eternal optimists.

Northumbiron, slightly concerned ?. This crap has been going on for ages…it’s the norm.

This clubs been a shambles for some time. Swann and co have had their hands in transfer dealings now for some time. I knew the writing was on the wall after McCall spilled the beans that time in his last interview with Hullberside.

The days of being concerned should be long gone. Most people have become desensitised with all the bullshit.

Call me old fashioned, but I’d prefer the new manager to be in place before seeing any new signings.

If Russ is back with the U23s and Turnbull has left the building who is making the decision on new players?

    Slightly concerned 😕

Why should this be of any surprise ?.

Did you not read the comments from McCall when he got sacked ?

Getting a raft of new players in without a managers say so…we’ve been here before. Yet another manager will be here with players he probably won’t fancy.

They can’t have been great, Wilcox has probably seen who they are and has quickly moved down back to u23’s.

Why don’t I feet great about what’s going on at the minute ?

    Deja vu, anybody ?

    I agree with Vader, it’s O’Leary.
