Calm down dear. Shrimpton and co can be loaned out and they will be on peanuts.
Somebody needs to come out and clear whether the takeover is even still on. Hill needs binning off as well, he has absolutely no idea. Budget isn’t helping him he’s inept and you can tell he’s a Swann lackey listening to his pre and post match interviews.
Hill is nothing more than in insincere Swann cling on. All that shite playing the youths last season as the reason why we went down, he’s hardly used any of them this season.
I suppose he did his job though he had me and many other people fooled.

This is what you get when you have a clueless chairman who spends double than what the clubs earning for the first 3 or 4 years of his tenure.
Seriously, what did he expect was going to happen ?. I remember reading the club accounts and he was spending silly amounts, I’m sure once I read he was spending a 120 odd % over what the club was earning.
Absolute madness.

Only problem is now is that we’ve started off so badly, what dependable players are even going to want to come ?
CB, LB, WIDE PLAYER AND 1 STRIKER is what we need.
Desperately need a CB though, Taft is shocking. LB is needed as well, even if we sign those two it will be better than nothing. One thing I don’t like about this team is that it doesn’t have much pace or mobility, we don’t get around the pitch well at all.
Beestin looks a shadow of what he used to be too.
McMahon too after his utter bollocks (minus the clichés) interview on Bumbleside.
Hill and McMahan are nothing more than Peter Swann puppets. Hill is so far up his arse, he will be just about be able to eat his eyes.

If there is no takeover – do you think that the Club will complete the season or do you think it will be liquidated?
Interesting question because I think Swannster said in that interview that he barely had enough money to see this season out. I could be wrong but it didn’t sound good.
ironlion, Neil Wright is there as part of the board as nothing more than a token gesture. Neil has little no power at all within it. I pressed him again the other day and his response was
“I’m afraid he’s his own man, when there is something to report it will be reported by the Club”
Neil also told me two weeks ago there was due to be a meeting which never came to fruition and told me it would be mentioned in this months board meeting and again nothing.
The response above was sent to me after mentioned this months board meeting. I did think he was well informed but the more I’ve spoken to him I’m of the impression he’s kept at arms length, he is what he is, a normal fan who probably get’s to go to unimportant board meetings.
You really think Swann is going to tell him anything ?
Ironlion, if Neil came out and said anything even slightly out of line regarding the club he will be out on his ear. In my opinion he’s not been put on there as a true voice for the fans. As mentioned above he’s nothing more than a token gesture, it was part of the club’s clap trap in this brave new start bullshit, he was put there because it looked and sounded good.
Sorry but it’s true. If your expecting him to come out and be the voice for all fans and start opening his mouth, he’ll be dropped quicker than workaholic prostitutes panties.

Somebody need to come out and just tell the truth if something is still happening behind the scenes with regards to the takeover. All the silences is causing uncertainty and when you couple that with the worrying start to the league, it’s a disaster.
If the takeover has collapsed then come out and say so. This is fucking ridiculous and needs sorting.

I’m with you on this, as are most other fans. No problem scoring goals and we’re pretty strong in midfield. Only problem is we can’t keep them out and yet we go sign another CM.
You are correct WG but that does not excuse anonymous personal abuse on social media.
Referring to a player as a “crock” when he’s persistently injured isn’t abuse. I’m merely stating a fact. I know they aren’t getting injured on purpose but it still doesn’t change the fact that we’re using resources on players who aren’t contributing.
I have sympathy for the pair of them but we can ill afford to carry passengers, especially we’re we are as a club.
As for people who really abuse players, I agree they’re morons and it’s not needed.
Glad to see a body through the door but confused to why it’s not another centre back.
I know it’s strange. Need a LB too now Nthle is predictably crocked.

Next time fans start bleating about player loyalty when someone wants to leave, remember the likes of WG who would happily cut a player adrift as soon as they get an injury.
Hallam has been persistently injured since he’s been here. Nthle for the past 4 seasons has been plagued by injury, was injured in pre season and 1st 45 mins back is injured yet again.
Ferrite, we’re not talking about war horses here that have picked isolated injuries. Not in a position to carry passengers and there’s no honour in being a simpleton in trying to make out it benefits us having them on our books.
You ask any sane fan of SUFC if they would like to keep Hallam and Nthle here over players who would be able to stay fit and actually contribute and see what response you get.
I’m thinking about it. The winner will hopefully get to spend an unforgettable, action packed evening with Swannster.
Are we going to have a forum sweepstake on how long he’s going to be out for ?
Awaywego you and WG should nip up to Edinburgh and pick some shit up, don’t take the train though.
Nar, think I’ll pass. I admittedly speak quite a bit of rubbish but I won’t fight you for the honour of picking it up.
Get your tweed jacket on and you can moan about labour and conservatives. I’m sure you’ll go down a treat over there.
Any luck you may be pelted over the head with a few cans of unopened Iron Bru.
Crikey, don’t start WG off about that one again!
He’s right ironking, don’t give the political whores on this forum any ammunition.
I can understand him being under a potential NDA so can’t get into the finer details but he can at least come out and tell us if it’s still actually even on.
All a bit bizarre.
I’ve tried to get something out of Neil Wright but he’s gone quiet. Last I was told that he was sure there would be an update on the takeover at the board meeting end of this month but I was told 2 or 3 weeks before there would be an update and there seemingly wasn’t one as after telling he, he went quiet.
I event sent chat transcripts of what he told me so he’s clearly not as informed as some believe he is.
I’m in the camp that believes if it was ever going to happen then it would have happened before now. This is taking way, way too long. Something doesn’t feel right about this at all !
I think it’s fair to say that if there’s no update at the board meeting towards the end of this month it’s safe to assume that it isn’t happening.
I just wish somebody would come out “preferably swannster” and just be honest for once. This uncertainty isn’t doing anybody any favours.

Hill is the master tactician after all !
I’d rather he played Daniel at LB considering O’malley can’t defend and Nthle is held together with cellotape.
We do require a few more players, especially in defence. But I don’t see us getting relegated this season…
Try 4 or 5 players.
Can you seriously not see us relegated with Swann and Hill still in their positions come the end of the season ?

Hill was the best of a bad bunch, or at least that appeared to be the case at the time. I did speak to a Tranmere fan on twitter at the time though which quickly put doubt in my mind.
My mistake was going by his Rochdale days but they we’re a long time ago, as it’s showing to be the case now.

Only problem is now, it’s not only incomplete, it’s inept due to us carrying 2 perma crocks in Nthle and Hallam. We haven’t got the money to pay either of them off so we’re stuck with them and in Nthle it will hurt us the most as now because Hill signed him we’re without a LB we can depend upon as he’s forever breaking down.
Realistically we need another LB, CB, Wide attacker and a striker. If, and this is a big IF, we get those in we may be ok but still don’t really rate Hill in all honesty.
Do I listen to Hill post and pre match and think “he’s the man to take us forward”…no I don’t

Sack Hill ? not for me
Playing O’Malley at LB wasn’t too clever. Wouldn’t a half decent manager have moved Daniel there and then brought someone on to cover his position ?
O’Malley was absolutely shocking again. What more evidence does Hill need to make him realise that he isn’t really a FB ?
Only problem is Hill signed Nthle and he’ll be a treatment best pal of Hallam, he’s another who’s never fit. All well and good signing him to a 6month contract but it’s 6 month’s we’re going to be without a LB option.
Another waste of a place !
3 users thanked author for this post.
This the problem we have. Nthle can defend but never stays fit for more than 5 minutes. I don’t know why Hill didn’t move Daniel to LB and just bring on Carver or Nat Wallace to cover his place.
O’Malley is a really a winger and can’t defend so no surprise we were run ragged. Due to a lack of cover at CB we then draft in a RB in Rowe to take the incompetent Taft’s place due to no other viable options.
I don’t for the life of me understand why Hill brought O’Malley on at LB after he subbed him the game before for being a complete liability. Clearly he didn’t think putting a LB who can actually defend there ahead of O’Malley was a sensible enough idea.
Need players in the building but Hill is worrying me. Clearly need another CB ,LB and wide player in. Nthle’s a piss take lasting 45 mins, he should never have been signed.
Both him and Hallam need binning off. Taft can go as well for me.

He has but its all on x-box unfortunately.
You still crying inside after I referred to you “sad” for hijacking that thread and turning into a political debate ?
Ever since then you’ve been a right bitch.
Put your big boy pants on and get over it.
Mason will definitely need some help if he plays
After that shocker the other night he better be bench warming.
I’m guessing by a number of posts to your thread WG, that a fair few supporters are not really interested in your exchanges with Mr Wright on Twitter and probably have no desire to engage with him on Twitter,
That’s fine. There’s a lot of crap on here which I’m not really interested in. Prime example last week when bores hijacked a thread and made it all about politics and the rail system.
That’s fine it’s a football forum after all there will often be a certain things on here that people aren’t really interested in reading. The same will go for most forums up and down the country.
The joys of football forums !
Iron Awe, were you born a complete arse hole or is this side of you reserved for me on this forum ?. If it’s the latter then I have to say I’m flattered.
You’re a right bell end lol
