It was obvious Ellis is LK, and LK admitted it on here.

No doubt there will be. The totalitarian neo-Marxist state led by Rishi Sunak will demand it. They will probably make Glanford Park a LTN too! :-)

That’s all very well and good, but it doesn’t excuse him saying the Holocaust is up for questioning (or clarifying a febrile comment) or the other comments.

It’s not about Tories, but Jews, and the majority have issues with many leftists. Fat load of good that does them, as they get ignored and Jews will say the same about these leftists as you have done about Tories. Also, I am not a Tory and have never voted for them in my life, so can sleep happily in accusations considering the Tories’ record.

You only have to look at the Glastonbury film pulling. Not only was it named the same as a Nazi quote, it involved many accusing Glastonbury bowing to Jewish pressure. Even Billy Bragg got piled on for saying the Jewish element was ridiculous, which got them angry at Bragg for being a ‘Zionist’ agent. When criticised for this, the attackers all say that they’re not being anti-Semitic (these accusations cheapen it apparently), they are just criticising Israel. Same for art with face huggers strangling the statue of liberty with the star of David on, murals containing gross caricatures of Jews, platforming Holocaust deniers, waving of Hezbollah flags and more. It’s not good enough, no matter what the Tories do. Loach, Waters and others could not care less about Jew hatred and the party or ideology they belong to matters little.

Oh yes, there is no morality to their rebellion. Wagner were already rotten before Ukraine and have ground in Africa and Syria. Hopefully it and the Putin regime collapses.

It’s going to disrupt Russia severely and will aid Ukraine against them, so I am happy about that at least. That said, Prigozhin is a murderous thug and no better than the war criminal in chief, so it’s not good for Russia.

That said, it’s amusing to see the Putinist prats land with egg on their faces after parroting Russian talking points for so long. Poor Ian Miles Cheong, Tucker Carlson, George Galloway, Nigel Farage, Neil Oliver, Maajid Nawaz and co will have their heads scrambled in their narrative of why Russia is really doing well, honest.

Ken Loach has more than once made comments which appear to be questioning the Holocaust and the numbers, dismissing Holocaust survivors for being Zionists (to dismiss their opinion on Jewish rights) when they put forward their case, blamed Jews for deaths in the Holocaust and called for Labour MPs to be expelled for attending anti-Semitism protests. Goodness knows what that has to do with standing for Palestinian rights. If Palestinian rights is dependent on that, it needs a severe rethink.

After Swann’s initial splashing of the cash without means to back it up catastrophically failed, I am surprised that scepticism over someone with less obvious proof of funds for a new stadium and high end (for our level) players is often derided.

..Don’t you understand the “new left”?
Wolfie Smith is just a figment of your imagination.

You’re not going to convince 64 by calling Starmer or Mandelson left wing.

I am not fond of Mandelson or any involvement of his in Labour, but he is a peripheral figure at the moment. It doesn’t have to be some fiendish left wing element as to why this is, and the right have room to talk given their own associations and corruption too.

I have more concern for our fellow fans, who have supported us through thick and thin, when they want a refund for a scheme that was advertised under the premise of our ground being under our control over not criticising or ‘moaning’ because apparently we must accept whatever happens under Hilton’s remit, no matter how shoddy.

From everything I have read about this case so far it is evident that they have been ill prepared, stupid and using an ill fitted vessel. Stupid decisions aren’t crimes worthy of death and their lives still mean something. A tragedy is defined as an event which caused great suffering, destruction or distress. I fail to see how this falls out of that.

Why is it so hard to publish things via several sources when news needs to be shared? Why is it too much to ask for some professional communication?

Posted on the Scunny Fans Facebook page, which seems to be the only place he communicates on. Call me old fashioned but whats happened to communicating via local/ regional news and media outlets like our rivals do? Is this the new order? Facebook or nowt? Surely it makes sense to update supporters on a wider scale to give the club more exposure and attraction ?

    It’s amateurish.

This thread title will hook bpg in to tell us purgatory is a false teaching from a false faith, and shouldn’t be used for even football club analogies. ;-)

I realise that sometimes I can come across bluntly, but I try not to make accusations against others, unless I see fit. If I was to think you don’t care, or whatever I would have said so directly.

I wasn’t picking a fight with you, I wasn’t trying to attack you. I was just saying many see it as important, and outlining why. I have no intention of suggesting you’re uncaring about such issues, just that it is an issue worthy of concern. Apologies if it didn’t come across that way.

Given he says all ‘trans critical’ people aren’t welcome, and this has regularly been used against anyone with concerns, I think he is including those concerned with women’s rights and such.

I am sorry that I am such a bigot for thinking women deserve spaces of their own where they can achieve in sport fairly, and have their own spaces free from the risk of male violence towards women. You’re right. Such thoughts about women’s rights is something only Tommy Robinson would think. If only I was as less Tommy like and didn’t engage in such EDL thuggery of listening to concerns of many (left wing) feminists and just barked at women to call being bigots for not considering men, like a true lefty.

Perhaps you could teach me to be such a caring non-bigoted man with damning women for not centring male needs before their own and medicalising autistic or gay children instead of the horrendously bigoted, right wing, opinion of taking caution in dealing with such cases?

    see above

I see. Supporting women’s rights to their own spaces in prison, refuges, their own sports for fairness (and safety in rugby and even football), and opposing Tavistock ignoring other potential reasons for why children may be confused about their gender and putting them on medicalisation which is life altering is bigotry and makes you like Tommy Robinson. To show you truly care about such issues and aren’t a bigot, you need to shrug your shoulders at male rapists being put in women’s prisons, males taking part in women’s sport and defeating women, and turn blind eyes to autistic and gay kids undertaking treatment which can lead to bone fragility, infertility and impairment of the brain.

    Thanks for confirming.

Oh yes, rapists in women’s prisons, men taking women’s records and defeating them and medlicalising autistic or gay kids because they’re gender non-conforming (without consideration for side effects or later regret) are ‘bogus concerns’. Yet these have happened. And caring about women’s rights and that of gay or autistic kids is practicall fascism

    Deerey:

The guy will no doubt be referring to those concerned about women’s only prison spaces, facilities and sport being eroded as transphobes no longer welcome. Along with those concerned about scandals like Tavistock, where autistic and gay kids or teens were pushed onto medicalisation. Such things seem important enough to care about, for me.

I think a lifetime ban would be overly harsh for the offence and would lead to accusations of shutting out a political opponent. The punishment was enough to have him feel the need to resign, which shows he deemed it to be consequential. All the talk of conspiracies and witch hunts is just a coping mechanism. This is why I think it’s a good day for democracy; a politician was punished for wrong doing, meaning undemocratic behaviour won’t be rewarded. It domatter what stripe.

As for Johnson making a strong comeback, I doubt it. An MP, maybe, but PM is unlikely unless the Tories are bent on defeat. He is massively unpopular, the 2nd least popular PM of modern times, behind Truss. All the media hype of Johnson the amicable clown with a golden touch is based off an outdated view, and they can’t seem to comprehend this. Moreover, his popularity that does cling on is concentrated among the old. By the time Johnson could launch a PM bid the voter base will include the current younger, and he might have to defeat an incumbent Labour government. The younger generations show signs of not turning towards the Tories either. Besides I think Johnson is happy with a cushy journalist role where he can generate clicks by making ‘woe is me’ articles about being shafted by the current government and sniping at them. It involves less hassle and his ego gets stroked.

It wasn’t a pile on from me. I was airing my own opinion as is my right, and it wasn’t intended to be an attack. Free speech and all.

I assumed it was to do with the latest on Trump. If anything is found on any politician, Democrat or Republican, it deserves to be investigated. However, there is not much outside of conspiracy spheres about Joe or Hillary, and after Trump I am struggling to take Republican concerns seriously over corruption and democracy.
