Another team not to watch.
Dull as dishwater3 users thanked author for this post.
If he still owns the club 3 of us won’t be going.

Yep clear out all the ex players and Hill time for a clear slate.

@ OSG against Leyton Orient. 3-2 what a turnaround.
Or Mike Lester jumping on the wall to celebrate his goal against Leeds.

IL82 He’s not far wrong!!
Away at Grimsby April 1990, Division 4. Went one nil up with a Flounders header and then Andy Hodgkinson and Flounders got in each others way to finish of a sitter for 2-0. Needless to say we lost 2-1. One of the most gutted I have been at a match. Over 11000 there – seem to remember outside the ground was quite interesting before and after the game.
Wasn’t it ‘ Ticker Taylor one of them that got in each other’s way for an open goal??
Yes very tasty as we’d parked in a huge shop car park and bodies were flying everywhere.
Oh what I’d give for those days to return, ‘‘twas so excited and atmosphere was great1 user thanked author for this post.
He’s not good enough 2nd choice keeper.
Along with many others.

Feck the revolving door to the managers office, that is part of the reason we are heading for non league obscurity.
Hill came here with a good record for getting poor teams out of the sh*t. He has promised to stay on, even when we do get relegated. If he does stay remains to be seen. But if he does, then let us see how many of his own signings opt to stay, and if he can get any more to sign.
Nobody seems to get a good chance to show us what they can do here (except Cox). Next season could be a nightmare whatever we do. So let us start by giving this manager a chance to take us back up.
Let’s see how many of his own signings stay!!!
I’m hoping none, can anyone honestly say they’ve been a revelation?
No exactly pulled up any trees since hill came in.
Just a different type of dog turd we’ve witnessed.1 user thanked author for this post.
Yep can’t agree more tbh. Not exactly seen a dramatic change bar from another shed load of cart horses.
Surely LT’s first job to get the knife sharpened and strike.
But as LT is Swanns foil do we think the never ending rotating managers door will slow down?

Yes just like our beloved gone but hopefully we will return unlike creosote. Nothing better than mowers going at full chat, smell of grass, two stroke and to top it off lashings of creosote. Just like the lashings of vinegar on my chips.
Reap what you sow in life is so true to folk that show there hand.

I’ll paint any fence, just ain’t wasting 4 hours of a Saturday afternoon which most look forward to having good weekend and going to the match and all the match day experience brings including seeing friends.
That’s finished because the football has been so dire that fence painting/hobby is the best option.
By the time you paid for fuel, pint or two at the pub en route, ticket and for some the poor fayre on offer and wasting your long awaited weekend it’s not cheap.
Get a tin of creosote for that 🤔

We won’t be going until it’s all over.
Just give us a shout when we have a new owner.
3 folk will make our way back to Glanford Park.
But sorry I’m painting the fence till then.2 users thanked author for this post.
Get singing it and changing a few words
Gloria Gaynor I will survive to be played.
We won’t crumble or lay down and die
Nothing will change with this appointment.
And as for the podcast how boring and predictable.
Same old same old.1 user thanked author for this post.
Sooner the better as we know it’s been due this last few seasons.
Call the Vets
Should paying us 5 quid to watch that rabble.
Not even bothering with ifollow neither waste of time and money
1 user thanked author for this post.
And now the end is near so we face the final curtain
So Apt 😞
Rubbish 66 they’ve barely got win in them bad ref or good ref.
Any era has been better than this last few years.
There’s so far better things to do with our lives now and not wasting nigh on 5 hours bored stiff at GP watching that. I feel for you if you’ve been there and endured that.
90mims on I-follow was bad enough.See a few fans giving Mullen it at the end.
Never seen such an unfit bunch though and devoid of ideas of the game.
Just no energy, ideas or anything. Guess it breeds.2 users thanked author for this post.
The Albatross headed our way years ago just doing it’s final lap of GP.
The ship will sink soon enough and will struggle to be raised.
See the teams that are down in the National league with the money they are spending to get out with gates far greater than ours and are still struggling.
Unfortunately too many folk have left to never return.
Could forgive the OSG scruffiness,Loved going to OSG. GP for me has never really had it since the corner got home fans went.
Now it’s just so stale everyone spends more time chatting and on there mobile phones due to the fayre on offer. From being one of the most envious small clubs to this in such a short space of time.
It’s a truly sad and angry time to be an Iron fan.4 users thanked author for this post.
Oh yeah the ground doesn’t belong to the club. How could I forget.
So what I’m I going to get is a scruffy house I need to rent and upkeep. And a Club with no assets whatsoever.
Hmmm why would you buy then?
Surely there’s a catch.
2 users thanked author for this post.
Thanatos I wouldn’t worry about us.
Tell your keeper to take a deck chair, newspaper and a flask. Doubt he will be busy.
7 users thanked author for this post.
And what about the ground??
Not sure why anyone would buy us out.
What is there left to buy?

I’m not talking about the past, I’m talking about what will give Hill the best chance to put together a competive squad going forward.
It’s too late. At the latest he should of been backed at the start of January. Barring that Cox should of never started the season.
I’ve supported the Iron at OSG and GP.
I’m a stay away a moron or whatever they’d like to call us.
One thing is for sure with the rudderless direction we’ve been going the last few or too many seasons I’ve made the right decision and our wallet is looking all the better for it.
Plus I’ve not wasted 5 hours of my Saturday afternoon watching no better football than I’d see at a semi pro outfit.I’ve logged onto I-follow a time or too for a jolly good laugh. Because that’s all it’s been.
