Flipping eck thats me tied to the computer for the rest of the week :)
The players section for Scunny certainly brings back some great names/memories.
Cheers.Very complementary on the whole and expect us to be promoted with are squad size and money spent.
Danny Whitehall does get quite some stick for falling over a tad easy on occassion :)
Everyone comments on why Butters is playing at this level – and most moan about the standard of referees :)

Includes pre match views on tonights game.
Heart says 3 – 0 to the Iron – Head says 4 – 0 :) We are on fire. UTI

On the computer – Feet up and a Fridge pack of Doombar at hand :)
I do try and get the away Commentary but not always available at this level – nice to get their view of how we are performing.
UTIAnyone know if loan players are allowed to play against there parent club in the NLN – or does it depend on the individual arrangements with each player?
Just the one up front it is then with Bennet gone and Eliott injured.
Fingers crossed the midfield pitch in again with a few goals. Time for Cal Roberts to shine?
Going for a 3 – 0 win. UTIListening to Jimmys prematch interview it sounds like Cal Roberts is getting a run out for 30 minutes or so tomorrow.
Fingers crossed he can make a difference in the midfield alongside Butters – or will Jimmy bring him on for Butters in the second half?
No Danny Elliot – so Im guessing hes going with one up front in the first half – maybe bringing on Bennett to partner Danny Whitehall if things are going well in the second half.
I personally hope Danny puts more effort into staying on his feet, and less time looking for cheap free kicks, and moaning at the ref – I always worry hes going to drop the team in it and win a RED Card. Maybe he models himself on Paul Mullin :)
Looking forward to the match and hopefully 3 points – UTI2 users thanked author for this post.
Poor watch for all those fans that made the journey.
Seems to me the difference today was Fitz was obviously told to kick long all the time – dont recall us bringing it out from the back at all tonight. Missed out the midfield most of the time.
Plus Jimmy obviously told them not to press tonight – dont get why that should be against a mid table outfit.
For me 2 points lost. Even more dissapointing as Tamworth lost.

I use the streaming service alot – dont panic if you have no coverage prior to kick off – I think they flick the ‘on air’ switch literally when the teams run out! :) UTI

Likewise – def be up for a weekly lottery. UTI
Your squad – formation – tactics etc could be useful? :)
Be interesting to hear from those that were at the game.
Listening to the commentary it sounds like we gave them a gift with the first goal following a poor pass in defence.
And for the second goal our defence stood off and allowed him to shoot.
Nothing much to do with the manager – just basic mistakes from the players.Ironfromafar – Back on !
Good luck to the team for tomorrow (1-3 Win) and the fans making the journey – shame you cant drink in the clubhouse tomorrow – I’m led to believe one end of the bar is in England and the other end is in Wales :) UTI
So pleased for the fans and the team today – wish i could have been there. UTI

Listening down in Plymouth – hoping this wont be our last game of the season!
Reading everything that’s happened today I’d be amazed if the match goes ahead. Jimmy Dean’s prematch comments tomorrow will be interesting to say the least – I imagine some players bags are being packed as I type – sad day.

Own goal!
Why does Butters not start? In my view best player in the league – mind you I,m on 4 pints and one or two rums! I look forward to a better second half :) UTI
I’m thinking this thread has little at all to do with football – is it not about time it got moved elsewhere????
MK Iron – Thanks for putting that together – not much coverage going on about the actual team progress at the moment – with everything else going on.
Visiting family in Scunny soon – which happens to take in the Peterboro game :)
So atleast I now know who to look out for on match day! UTINorthumbiron – Your mention of fans going behind the goals you were attacking reminded me of the days at the Old Show Ground when we used to do that – swop ends at half time – Happy days – :)

Hi Matt.
For us first time ‘predictors’ could you please explain how we play the game – dont want to see the ‘Old Hands’ getting a head start cos I’ve failed to follow the correct procedure. (No dig intended to past or present owners!!)
I have looked around the site for any rules etc but failed miserably :)
Cheers. UTINot quite football related but Tamworth related! :)
Famous for 2 escaped Pigs – anyone else remember the story?
The pigs were eventually recaptured and purchased by the Daily Mail newspaper who saved them from slaughter.
BBC made the story into a film ‘The Legend of the Tamworth Two.
UTILooking forward to us lifting the Trophy after the last game of the season ‘just up the road’ at Gloucester City :)

Hopefully away to Gloucester City – nearest fixture for me this season! :).
UTIHappy to sponsor AB’s socks if it means more money in the prize pot?! :) UTI
