When I left the ground I got chatting to a bloke with a young lad, and apart from the performance he was disgusted what had gone on with that arrest, said he had never seen anything like it in his 40 years following the Iron at a home game.
We could have been 2 up before they scored with their first effort on target, but God knows what Rory was doing, then apart from one easy save for their keeper we offered nothing, so after a bright start this was probably our worst performance at home, to me we need a complete clear out, some poor performances today, only players to put real effort in today was Hackney and Sinclair.
We are certainly missing Millen, Thompson and O’Malley, Keith won’t give Bunn a runout and would sooner play kids, Perry and Hallam have been frozen out and overall I can’t see us get another point this season.1 user thanked author for this post.
Excellent, with a few shots of Mapleiron and 1 of Fans64, brings back memories.

Expect nothing from Swann…he can’t even be bothered to fix the scoreboard in the ground he owns!
#SwannOut
I don’t know how true it is but I heard they couldn’t get new parts to repair it

Scunthorpe played at New Brighton in their last season in the league.

I will take a wild guess Bobby, Maidstone United, when they got promoted to the Football League didn’t they ground share with Dartford so never played any of their games at their ground in Maidstone and when they dissolved the ground was sold for development, since they reformed they now have a new stadium.
Who played at Dorchester?
it was when they redeveloped the ground they played there, they turned the ground like east to west to north to south with four new stands, I only went once but before it was altered, it’s in a big park so easy to do.

It gives Iron Trust a place on the board and hopefully take no crap from the chairman, whether it achieves anything we will have to see but a lot of clubs have a fan as a board member nowadays

I’ve just looked up the match details for the game at the hockey stadium and the league table and it says MK Dons, and we played there on 27th September 2005
Initially based at the National Hockey Stadium, the club competed as Milton Keynes Dons from the start of the 2004–05 season

we played at Plough Lane I went there twice, a 1-0 defeat and a 1-1 draw.
I think Southampton was in the old division 2 in the 60s so we will have played at The Dell
you answered your own question about the Hockey Stadium Ferrite2 users thanked author for this post.

Upton Park
london Stadium
White City
Old Trafford
Emerites
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Brentford Community Stadium
Amex StadiumI don’t think we played them at Twerton Park but could be wrong, I don’t think we have played Man United away never mind on 3 grounds, City we have played at Maine Road and Etihad but doubt the other one.

but we still have played Accrington on 3 grounds though, Peel Park the old ground, Burnley we played them in the FA Cup and the Wham Stadium.
Hull City – Anlaby Road, Boothferry Park and KCOM
Rotherham – Millmoor, Don Valley and New York
Brighton – Goldstone, Gillingham and Withdean
Accrington – Peel Park, Burnley and Wham StadiumI think it was MK Dons we played at the Hockey Stadium Pat.
never mind the goal difference, I can’t see us getting anywhere near 30 points
Nap of the day was between 3 and 5 this afternoon

I can’t speak about the 50s but it was good in the early 60s but not the late, when we played in Red it was like a curse which was lifted when we went back to Claret and Blue, though I like the White and Blue of the 60s, but the 70s was awful apart from one season, this season has been worse than that.
At least Grimsby and Southend made a fight of it last season, we just go through the motion.

Is there actually any players we should keep for next season. It gets worse every week, losing 5-1 to a mid table team in a poor league 2 when fighting for your football league status is appalling. I think we need a complete clear out and reset. It all felt very promising when hill came in, now’s it’s following a familiar depressing pattern. If this squad of players can’t get 30 points in league two then achieving anything in the national league is a pipe dream.
it’s OK saying its a poor league, every team I have seen looks 2 divisions higher than us.
You expect a result like this once a season but if we thought last season was a wakeup call this one is beyond belief, even with the squad we have you would expect more wins than we are getting and better performances.
it shows the problem when our best player this season has struggled in previous seasons and the young lads have looked not out of place, yet they haven’t been outstanding results wise at their own age level.
also the number of players we have injured, some in the line of duty and others if they play 20 minutes, also where are Jarvis, Perry and KDT are they injured or frozen out, this is the worst season I have known since my first game in 1961, and certainly worse than the 70s and most of the 80s.

Money saving, got chance of a deal at Rochdale after being told he wouldn’t get a new contract because we were cutting the budget to get a young hungry squad to be the way forward, and look how that has worked
