I would like to know if David Hilton packed in who is going to take over all the debt and buy the ground from Swann
But we have brought three players in recently
The abuse he’s getting from so-called Iron fans on Twitter is an absolute embarrassment to the club.
never mind Twitter, it is worse on here, I don’t think some want to have a club to support

I often wonder if some of our supporters just want us to fail and go into liquidation, I also wonder if one of those two posters spinning dirt about Hilton isn’t that journalist.

I wish people would give Hilton a chance, he has taken on a thankless job trying to sort this clubs mess out, he has told his story today, I think Simon Elliott is behind him because he’s at most of the games cheering the team on and I believe Hilton keeps in touch with him

It should have been called off sooner, same should’ve happened at Curzan Ashton, teams won’t get given the points through a game abandoned by the weather, feel sorry for Buxton being so close but they didn’t help themselves wasting time for players sitting on the floor feigning injury in injury time, so with extra time for taking the penalty and trainers on the pitch there probably been an extra 5 minutes added to the 6 remaining.
You can’t make injury time less than what goes upon the Board, I think both clubs thought he had blown for time, then he stuck 5 fingers up, but like Dean said he should have called it off before the penalty, couldn’t have been easy for Elliott, but it was a poor performance against a team that milked everything and scored with their 2 efforts.

It’s on all frequencies today
All frequencies, Barton
I hope we put a decent team out against Brackley next week seeing it seems forever since we won a Cup game
I thought it was 7 pence Matt
he hasn’t actually mentioned we are paying rent
absolutely Steve.
if that one last night was actually offside it was a brilliant bit of work by the linesman, he looked well off from our position
he hasn’t anything better to talk about until next February-March, I don’t care what league we are playing in winning games and exciting the fans is the most important to me, I don’t know what you other lads think but I am enjoying this season and we are getting our money’s worth, after a few dreary years it is now enjoyable going to games and opponents haven’t been too bad either, referees a bit inconsistent, fair play to Jimmy Dean he is doing a good job this season, but the other good thing a couple of posters are struggling to find fault at the moment, if air dryers are the best they can come up with I am afraid they are getting desperate.

Inspector, that 5-1 win against Plymouth was my first Scunthorpe home game, Barrie scored 4 and had 1 disallowed

I was saying the same on Tuesday night at the match, he played well preseason in the 3 games I watched
No mention on Radio Humberside Twitter feed
Just hope supporters will wait and get the official facts now instead of listening to the rumours having us hung and quartered, and not believing the proper people at the club, any news from ironeye or interested bystander this afternoon.

There was no Peter Swann, IE or IB to blame when Jewsons Ltd and Rushcliffe Borough Council served their winding up petitions!
Why have they put winding up petitions against Scunthorpe United, if so what for and when, if it against Hilton that has nothing to do with the Glanford Ground, which Swann put into his Company’s tenure

So you know more what is going on more than Hilton, Interested Bystander, don’t forget there will be more legal experts dealing with it all apart from him, I haven’t personally got a clue what is going on behind the scenes but I am sure the new directors wouldn’t have joined the board if it was a lost cause.
well done Matt, what have the famous two stirrers got to say about it, seeing they get to know everything that is going wrong

August 24, 2023 at 9:05 am in reply to: 17/08/23 – County Court Judgement – £14,591.00 – Case No. K1QZ9Z77 #270168I think he does it hourly, AA
Didn’t we release him when he wouldn’t sign a new contract.
To me let them sort the mess out because it has nothing to do with the supporters, we can’t do anything about it, just remember a few months ago we were folding anyway, I am sure there is a lot of twists and turns yet to come, there is 2 posters that all they want to do is stir trouble among the fans so wait and see after the 29th because stirring it up helps nobody.

no idea Awaywego, but he has a big mess to sort out, so you expect unless he is a multi milliomaire you can expect cut backs till he turns the club around, just think if Swann had liquidated the club you wouldn’t be watching football this season, so just enjoy what you have got and not what has happened the last 5 years, the ground was rocking last night, tremendous atmosphere.

are you suggesting DM66 that he transferred the clubs assets to pay for his wreckless spending and debt.
August 16, 2023 at 10:41 am in reply to: 09/08/23 – County Court Judgement – £1,547.00 – Case No. K5AA1W08 #269574it doesn’t matter how you see it or debate it, we are still here at the moment so why don’t you just leave it to the professionals who are dealing with it and just enjoy the football, you are putting valid details up but there must be a lot of things going on that you don’t know or these new directors etc wouldn’t be joining the Board, technically it is nothing to do with the supporters to deal with, and whether you like Hilton or not if he hadn’t taken the club over you could be watching football on TV or somebody else so give him and the others a chance, just remember a lot of changes had to be made on or off the pitch, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Whoever was on commentary they weren’t in the usual seats, but did see Neil Cox at the other end of the reporting area, but was on his own when I saw him.
