Assuming he’s still at ‘yet to agree terms’ but time obviously running out, unless it’s agreed and just not signed you’d assume he’s on his way which is a shame.
Rumour of him heading to Hartlepool but by all accounts it’s a bit of a binfire there at the moment. Maybe he wants a longer contract than we are willing to offer
Basically that things ‘didn’t feel right’ after a couple of months post-signing, and the players began to hear stories about DH’s past – eventually leading to then not getting paid
Agree on the defensive midfielder, not sure on another creative – think we are still short of cover on defence even if we keep hold of Kouogun? Only 3 CB’s on the books and no cover on the left or right (Scales?) untill Barrows is back.
Also, what happened to the Conor Smith rumours, just pie in the sky?
Matlock relegated partly due to a points deduction stemming from an admin error and an inelligible player – even with the money offered surely much less of a draw now…
Interesting to note a few Matlock fans worried this will scare WHAM off, and talk of his £200k in ‘donations’ received to date.
Sounds very much like sour grapes to me, what a big opportunity we’re missing out on and plenty of other clubs are interested, minority of fans etc etc.
I’d be very interested in a more detailed conversation with the club about the exact state of play as of Saturday with rumours of announcement videos having been filmed and the FC100000 website saying a club had been found. It doesn’t tally up.

I thoroughly despise everything about fc100000, but what I really can’t take is this was all done on the sly. Very underhand. This is something that should’ve been consulted with fans before anything was signed away.
Whoever tried this on, whoever’s brainchild it was, needs to take a few steps back. Even better, leave the club, tail between legs.
This is the most important point for me – if this had been shared with fans for feedback rather than seemingly being dismissed as a non-story at the AGM then we wouldn’t have seen this level of outrage. The fact that it has been conducted in this manner means either incredible naivity, a lack of respect for the fanbase or they just knew what response it would get and decided to push on in secret.
Whichever it was, it doesn’t fill me with confidence.

Last 25 minutes a stressful watch, think Curzon should have been down to 10 late on – a great start but still work to do!
I enjoy it, as I do the Bru podcast – not sure how serious the ‘playful’ jibes are between the two but I agree that there is more than room for both pods. I also enjoy watching the Iron Army videos on YouTube, and I think any passion projects relating to the club should be encouraged.
Appreciate not everyone will feel the same, opinions are like a**eholes etc…

Maybe Butler doing Johnson a favour? Does seem strange either way
Apparently he has his kit on and Campbell doesn’t, apparently it might actually be Kian Johnson who is ex-Donny

it is a somewhat mind blowing coincidence that mr white has the exact same handwriting and date of birth as a mr David anderson whose company was shut down by the government. if I were in the country I would have handed both exhibits to mr Anderson sorry mr white, sorry mr hillton and asked him to explain his way out of that one, these docs are freely available on companies house, open your eyes gentleman.
What is this company called – the one on the so called ‘dossier’ uses a link to a completely different company which is in no way associated with a David Anderson – certainly backs up Hilton’s assertions that it was put together with the purpose to sow the seeds of doubt using incorrect information present as the truth…
Like a few of our players over the last handful of seasons, a good player in a team of duds is never likely to do very well, especially as his first proper experience of mens football.

If anyone has any (reasonable) questions they’d like asking I can submit it if I get a ticket, for any those not able to attend.
I mean, you don’t have to listen…

Quite normal – looks like a non-trading vehicle so has probably been set up for something and then maybe not used (no assets/liabilities and a nominal net worth).
Not sure what the worry here is?
If he is to stay then it should be in a scouting capacity – his statement on the pitch invasion has left a sour taste. Not sure I would want him in any sort of management role behind the scenes.

Potentially fantastic news if true
Belgian football has a famous history littered with unsuccessful foreign ownership – I certainly hope we aren’t jumping from the frying pan into the fire…
I’d be very interested to know which club they were involved with.

Agreed, other than Gallimore we seem to have had a very ‘small’ youth setup – we have seen the likes of Poulter, Wallace and even Wilson come into the first team but struggle to make an impact in very physical games. Even Pugh and O’Malley are fairly small footballers.
Apter makes it work because he’s clearly a level above and is fairly stocky – I think we’re going to struggle to integrate the younger lads at this level unless we have a better (and more confident) side around them to give them some breathing space to flourish.

For what it’s worth, Neil Wright denying any takeover on Facebook now – just rumours again.
Not being funny but I didn’t spend money on a season ticket to see one of our best players leave not even halfway through the season to a club a few places above.
Absolute shambles.

Having seen Taft play 4 times already this season, I would happily have the new Scunny Bunny at centre back

Cannot see how we have not signed another CB yet!

Time to ruin someone else’s management career
He didn’t turn up after kick off – has been confirmed by Alan Wright he talked to him in the tunnel at 2.10..
Glad it’s not just me…
Wouldn’t be half as effective – when companies are making massive profits, the cost of living is rising and wages aren’t increasing to match, good on them striking.
We have a lot to thank industrial action for – if the private sector paid what people are worth and took a bit less themselves, there wouldn’t be a need to strike.
By the same token, it will become a better place for the youngsters to play and grow – could do wonders for the likes of Gallimore, Wilson etc.

Irrelevant ‘newspaper’ anyway – good riddance
