There is one point that all of you have overlooked, including Hilton.
From The Athletic:
“In a case that started at Nottingham Crown Court in late 2014, Anderson was also disqualified from being a company director for five years after pleading guilty to 15 charges.”
Yet Hilton became a director in the following businesses:
Reality Management Ltd – appointed 21/11/17
Advent Corporation Ltd – appointed 21/11/17
Centrepoint Marketing Ltd – appointed 21/11/17
Stratton Enterprises Ltd – appointed 21/11/17
Maxwell Cohen Ltd – appointed 28/06/18
Maxwell Cohen Estates Ltd – appointed 18/06/19
Acquisition And Property Management Ltd – appointed 18/06/19
DH Management And Holdings Ltd – appointed – 24/09/19As you can see, the 5 year disqualification period for David Anderson as reported by The Athletic and the directorships held by David Hilton during the disqualification period don’t reconcile.
This is of critical importance.
He was imprisoned under the name Anderson.
His “new” Directorships were/are under the name Hilton.
There are 8 new registrations within the 5 year ban. Once could be classified as a mistake. 8 times is deliberate deception. If he has deceived Companies House by operating under a different name then he has committed fraud – AGAIN.
This could well result in further charges.

We’re going to get demands to know the background of that journalist, as if that matters, aren’t we?
Nobody has accused the journalist of lying, because he hasn’t.
It is in the public interest for the information to be available to us. That is what a journalists job is.
The facts are that DH has been lying to us all.
He told us he had bought the club, the land and the ground. He hadn’t .
He told us he had only 2 names and he had never been to prison. He was lying.
Why should we believe him?
Chasing the journalist is merely people trying to deflect from Hilton. Irregardless of Slater’s background, Hilton is a bad un.

It never was, and never will be, Swann or Hilton. There are alternatives – if we look for them (let’s hope that the Board are looking).

Some on here wouldn’t batter an eyelid if the club went under. A select few ranks Hilton resigning as more a success than the alternative, Hilton resigning and nobody else coming in with money to buy the club and then ceasing to exist.
They clearly know the club could well and truly go out of business but clearly don’t care.
You honestly believe that?
I don’t understand how anyone can genuinely believe that.
We are all Scunny supporters and want the club to be successful. However, we don’t want people like Swann and Hilton to be involved.
Swann has a massive ego and appalling business sense, whilst Hilton seems to have limited assets and is totally dishonest.
The idea that if you don’t support DH then you must support Swann is preposterous. It’s a big world out there.

It coincides,roughly, with when Swann v Hilton decision will be made.
Swann, assuming he wins, will sell the stadium.

CT, I think there are major differences in what you are trying to compare.
Firstly, Swann saying he was going to leave us in a better position was what he believed. His incompetence is why we are where we are.
Secondly, in reality he has given us more than the ground back (although we don’t actually have the ground!!). He wrote off £11 million in debts, and whilst this was majorly down to his incompetence he could have totally cleared us out. I’m not defending him, but he could have made things a lot worse for us.
DH also seems to want to be popular. He said in his statement that he was a quiet family man. This has not been clear to anybody us as he laps up the adulation from the Facebook group and others.
How unfortunate that we get 2 losers in a row…….

Broken man? It was a sob story, looking for sympathy, do you think a leopard can change it’s spots?
Is it that easy to tell the difference between a man in a poor mental state and a sob story? Not sure I’m qualified to make that call and I’m not sure you are but your entitled to your opinion.
He’s been crying wolf far too often to be believed. It’s never him in the wrong it is Swann, the journalists, the fans blah, blah, blah.
He’s not the Messiah, he’s a very naughty boy!

Whilst many will not be happy with someone who defrauded the council of £68 grand, it is the fact that he changed his name (4 names in total I believe) and denied it to all and sundry, making out that he was a victim in all instances.
Yes, we all make mistakes, but defrauding the council is hardly a mistake. It was very obviously planned and carried out over a period of time. He was also charged with fraud under the name White, but evidence was not brought at the hearing. Whilst this is not proof that he was guilty then it does show the areas in which he operates.
Do we really want this at our Club? I certainly don’t.

What happened today was exactly what David Hilton predicted would happen when he told those present at the February fans forum that Swann had ceased channels of communication.
Hopefully common sense will now prevail though it is my opinion that we saw little of that in the 10 year tenure.
It would be great if personal agendas could be put aside or at least find different outlets for speculation dressed up as facts.
I’m not going to suggest that Swann is not to blame, but why do people take everything that DH sates as factual?
His actions to date, and the problems with wages, payment of debts, CCJ’s etc etc, do not point in that direction.
We will continue to be in the dark, hoping and praying, for the next 6 months.
I really do hope that they can resolve the issues between them and that DH stands up to his responsibilities as the owner of our club and starts acting like he should.
We’ve just got rid (nearly!!) of one bad owner, we don’t want another one.

An excellent day out.
Good all round performance. Ogle is a class above. Shrimpton put in in a good shift but he is still a little lightweight. Elliot could help us stay top of the League, whilst Whitehall needs to grow up and keep his mouth shut – good job he was substituted.
I thought the ref was good.
Bought food for the first time in 15 years at the ground. The goat burger was really good, but the service is still painfully slow.
Good crowd and best atmosphere I’ve seen for many a year.

CCJ’s are not issued overnight.
DH will have ignored these payments for months – the poor sods who are owed money are having to spend more time, and money, trying to get what is due to them
We all make the odd mistake, but DH seems to have made far too many far too quickly.
