I’ve just searched Stuart Maw on X and the top result is “Stuart was an antisemite and Nazi enthusiast”
Well I wasn’t expecting that!
From what I know of Stuart (extended family link), his polital leanings are very much on the opposite side of the spectrum. Certainly not Nazi.
Maybe some Amanda White could tempt you back to Humberside? Was always positive.
Probably not if you was still wearing your water wings.

my advice to Butler is just don’t blow it and don’t even think of benching Whitehall again you Muppet
Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get your UEFA pro license?
Strange times
You’re not wrong. I had no knowledge of this level of football and don’t think I ever will.
A couple of wins for us, a few losses elsewhere and everything is back on track for a title run. Despite a terrible run of performances. To me it just feels like a weekly lottery, any team can beat any team, top to bottom.
I would love to see free flowing sexy football but at this level it seems to be about who can grind out the most results no matter how tedious.

He certainly sounded like a guy under a great deal of pressure.
I should think the adrenaline was running a bit high after the half time bollocking as well.
I’m sure he is more than aware that things are shite, but what’s he supposed to do? Throw the players under the bus? He’ll be criticised no matter what he says.
I thought is was a bad interview. He’s not the first manager to have done it, won’t be the last.

On the face of it the bun does seem a bit useless. Handy for mopping up the sauce perhaps.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the idea behind it is to make it instagramable/social media ready.
Not injured, but ill.

A pleasing result regardless.
Alledgedly they were also using an experimental flat back 6 that’ll also be unleashed at the weekend. Good times.
Halcyon days.
I undestood it as:
-LT’s responsibilities being split up and new responsibilities given to new roles.
-Possible reduction in the reliance of an individual. Spread the load.
-The club want to go in a new direction. This seems to be a modern approach (data/facts/figures/crunching numbers). Maybe LT isn’t a fan of this and prefers a fileofax brimming with contacts?I don’t think there was any sinister conspiracy. Just a change to the way the club operates.
In the interview Michelle stated they were still on talking terms. It didn’t give me the impression of an imminent tribunal.
Seems to be slanted more toward the modern fetish of data driven moneyball.
I’m unreliably informed he has been seen at Forest Pines.
A wage saved or a payoff given. We may never know.
Last commentary – mine was silent til 11 minutes past 3!
Does the blame for the confusion and late everything lie with the BBC or Humberside?
Others arrive on time so I have to point Hullwards.Who knows. But I wouldn’t be too hard on the Humberside folks. Funding for local radio is being absolutely decimated (purposefully I think), I imagine technical assistance is first for the chop.
Pepper was sent of from a stretcher after breaking his leg and punching the guy who did it
IIRC Pepper was carried off with a serious, possibly career ending, injury.
The Pepper incident happened in front of us close to the half way line.
It was an utter piss take that the other player completely got away with it. The ref couldn’t have been more pleased with himself dishing out ‘justice’.
As long as it isn’t Magic Mike.
I know several people that stopped going due to Covid and haven’t returned or gone elsewhere. What’s currently on offer won’t tempt them back but entertainment (preferably with success) might do.
Would they compromise and settle for a decent pie at half time?
How many fans will stop going? Do you think they’ll swap allegiance and go elsewhere? Or just stop watching live local football?
It’s also important to look at increasing the lottery payout. Disgrace.

Is BBC working yet
Now operational
Except all the others have sound cept ours
Yep, typical. Smashie and Nicey it is!
Still nothing for me. Radcliffe radio link working though.
They don’t always start until kick-off, annoyingly.
Going live at 1430 apparently.
Today it looks like we’ll be on Freeview TV (depends where you are in the country on which channel you need, just channel hop until BBC Radio Humberside magically appears).
And also looks like an internet stream. These can be a pain to find and don’t always appear before 3 o’clock.
Start off on https://bbc.co.uk/sport/football then you have to hunt down, usually, something like ‘LIVE: non-league commentaries’ usually further down the page.
It’s always a waiting game to see how Humberside split the frequencies/streams to know where you need to be. this only seems to be published on the day of the match.
The best place I find is checking the twitter feed for details https://x.com/HumbersideSport?t=c7MjWUromIoHT3wCfX3zmw&s=09
