OT has the right to ask the questions he did. If not we just finish up with a one sided like the ows.
Wonder how the post match interview will go next week or will OT be waiting for 70mims again.
Pretty petty tbh. Still got to stay professional.Hopefully the win kicks the Iron on and things turn around.
2nd a playing so crap. Don’t think those shackles are on to be released unfortunately.Yes came across very petulant.. bearing in mid recent form its amazing we are still around the top let alone second all be it very tight and a couple of adverse results can change everything ..Curzon keep steaming on ALA Tamworth.

Please , does anyone have a link to the HR AB interview ..
TIA
easy reply … the club interviews with AB are just repetitive and would be best not done at all .. EVERY WEEK the same sound bites with the only relevant info is whose currently fit and whose injured.
I want AB to succeed most certainly not kicked and there are far more enticing subject matter to masturbate over in my neck of the woods.
I do agree re the fans that are taking advantage of the booze at these lower league venues, far too many seem to be totally wasted which is just a recipe for trouble and getting the club a bad name.
Match Prediction 0-0 or 1-1
ABs latest interview master class re the Marine game ..yet a large chunk dwelling on the Alfreton debacle.
These soft ball James Moody interviews are getting very tedious , no real questions asked with easy replies / answers offered by the interviewer, alas doesnt really matter as all the opponents are tough , done our homework and trained well …more clean sheet strategy nonsense.
ABs take on the Alfreton performance is head shaking.
This thread sums up our arrogance,we’ve got Man Utd syndrome. The fact is we’re a 6th division outfit ,not some big league wonder club that has a right to win and be some huge draw for staff
Nowt against Wilcox nice bloke but probably why when ever theres a job going the first option and mindset seems to be whose available that has ties to the club .. If AB does get the boot its hard to even guess who may come in and of what age and experience not sure how attractive a draw Scunny are nowadays as posted.
Waiting to see who from Hiltons over paid superstar signings jump ship in Jan or June.
Cant see any players in activity happening ..its all quiet on the Western front (and the Boardroom)
Clarke was crap .. though i believe his footwear company specializing in predominately children and old foggies footwear still remains a huge and successful business.
Glad what I stated is ‘obvious.’ Now we can all unite, relax and see what January brings without making premature calls for sackings or calling each other out. Glad we’re approaching the season of peace and goodwill to all men:)
Exactly .. peace n goodwill to all (except the Codheads (not all as i know at least 3 that are ok though they do limp, smell of fish and need a bar of soap for Xmas)

home safemore chance of Santa signing for TOXIC Scunny at the .. Howe is agreat talent but WTF would he even think about Scunny when other bigger clubs will come sniffin.
Spat central. When it gets so personal I414 that you have to write several paragraphs per post on how someone has upset you then maybe its time for a pause. A poor December and more of the same …5 or 6 games … and he’ll be gone I reckon. And I can’t see much dissent on here with that scenario. On the other hand .. a fit Roberts and Carlton.A bonus contribution from Williams. Maybe even an emerging option with Law. Beck and Harris bedding in and provoking Danny to up his game. Maybe even some variety in formation with what potentially look like decent attacking options. It could be that as Spring looms we’ll be on top of the pile and, whilst there will be no need for humble pie from the fans, the Donny Road will be applauding fist pumps again. If there’s no sign by early January then he’ll have to go I reckon. This ‘window’ isn’t the time and it appears that the Board are in agreement.
santas sack is been empteied and i willdo my best cos im pissed
You are as Monty Pythong said quote stating the beleding obvoous.. i do howver regress for 414 AWAYEGO N Myself being singl;eted out for having an opinon .. so much so so i rang the bell in soi eakmai bumbat 4 tonight.butler n Scoff out asap
Law will at least offer the option of actually playing a genuine 4/4/2 with width, but question is does he stay fit for more than 5 minutes ?. I’d also leave Whitehall out and go with Beck and Harris up top. Beestin and Brogan in CM. If Butler plays the players in their natural positions we won’t have a bad team at all.
5555 Law will be fit for a game or 2 hes aperma croc .. get rid of all the hiltonoids on studid money n start again .. most ov em are shit and dont give atoss its just awageto pay themorgar n feed the kids .,. like to see theback of all except roberts n Fitz
Blooming heck ..as Lou says to Andy ..this is a right carfuffle.
Opinions are what makes the forums tick and when it comes to football everyone has an opinion more so for your hometown club when its going through rough times, everyone is entitled to their opinion so if i wish to predict as i see things panning out i will do so regardless …
HOWEVER I DO HOPE IM WRONG as no positives its all a bit depressing.
Promotion is gone this season UNLESS CHANGE IS SWIFT.
AB will be here all season
7th to 10th if no change mid table at best finishing position as there appears to be several more consistent better performing clubs than us.
Attendances plummeting to 2000 to 2500
Fundraising will drop off
Many of the Hilton era over paid signings wont stay YIPPEE most dont give a toss, shame we will miss Fitz.
Moving forward another 2-3 years in NLN .. we arent good enough to go up to the NL hold are own or challenge just in a relegation battle ALA Boston this season.
Possible mix of Pro n PT next season.Calm down ..its time for a cuppa Yorkshire Tea and a digestive bikky

Inaction from the board so here’s my prediction for ‘Dire December’. More turgid hoofball, defensive 5 at the back set ups, players looking more confused by the game and the repetition of old and tired soundbites from a manager thats becoming so detached from reality, he may need to be sectioned before the years out. The only thing plummeting faster than our league position will be our falling gates numbers. By end of December when the club coffers have taken enough of a pounding due to lost gate revenue, the board will finally be spurred into action and Santa will deliver us a new manager wrapped with a bow, in time for the turn of the year. By which point the league will be gone to pull aways Curzon and we will spend the rest of the season hoping the new gaffer can recoach our team back to a something that resembles a footballing side, so we can scrape the play offs and at least be in with a shot of winning that lottery. UTI!
A rather depressing post 414 alas its sadly quite accurate as to how i see things panning out, the only difference i reckon AB will scrap enough points and get to the end of the season finishing 7 to 10th before he and Scoff get the chop.
As we fall away down the leage and with this dire football leading to fans staying away im sure it will have an knock on effect not only lost gate revenue but also to the many different fundraising schemes that are on the go and constantly pushed ie lottery, footy cards auctions and events etc etc ..goodwill only lasts so long and the recent BovD radio silence doesnt help.
Baa Humbug I HEAR YOU CRY !!
the 1930s is that way dinosaurfromafar.
Yeah quite possibly sir .. i been away from the UK and its draconian tendencies a long time and do forget sometimes .. in fact my daughter only said last Sunday .. hope to see you soon dad but dont think its like its used to be .. not only SUFC IS SHITE .. the whole country is
Lets be ruthless
sack LT
get in a football ball analyst …. to do what ??
lets keep a shit manager and his equally shit assistant after all its obvious its gonna go well and fans will leave in their droves .. why
After all has happened over the last 1-2 years with fantastic support across the whole spectrum its such a shame its come to this but its a ruthless bizz n AB n Scoff must be on really thin ice .
Never have i wanted my home town team to loose but if another defeat or two was to get rid of the current incumbents then i will take it.. sad but true.4 users thanked author for this post.
Obvious .. like many other signed under Hiltons scattergun signing spell.. Whall came on big money and is at best average as are most of the others who arrived in those crazy days .. they are now just playing out their contracts with no real effort or love for the club, most if not all will be off come 2025 and good riddance.
Players must be getting pissed off being forced to play a system that clearly doesnt suit them or is working, in fact its damaging the careers of some of them if anything and i would be a bit surprised if there hasnt been whispers and rumblings of discontent.
I do get the impression that quite possibly the players that came in during Hiltons brief traumatic reign and scatter gun approach to signings are just playing out a contract and most will leave in 2025, i think only Scales has extended maybe one other the rest will depart first being Roberts.

Am as unhappy as you lot ..but will be amazed if he’s not given til New Year. By then we’ll know if its coming right with new signings and returnees. It may well be that Curzon will be uncatcheable by then ..who knows. A big and expensive gamble to change it in this next fortnight. I don’t see it happening.
Agree .. IMO the BovD will give AB til new year and he will in turn stick to his / Scoffs chosen system yet manage to scramble a few points here n there playing woefully boring football be in the top 10 places thus be here until the end of the season at which point the board will act.
NOW is the right time to act but just cant see it happening.
Not be surprised to see Curzon do a Tamworth and create gap… alas that wont really effect Scunny as will be just fighting for the last play off spot or mid table obscurity and 2k crowds.

Agree with WGs earlier post creating a director of football at this level is sheer folly and would not work, another salary the club cannot afford just get rid of AB and Scoff , pay them off lick yer wounds and carry on,this way more fans will turn up especially if a decent EXPERIENCED manager can be recruited.

Butler is an inexperienced manager who may be leaning heavily into Schofield, it makes me wonder how much this is down to Schofield.
Good point .. Scoffs appointment was rushed and solely down to AB .. looking back at his past record it isnt that great .. in fact as pointed out already other than a decent spell at Lincoln its been pretty shite.
AB did get the boot from Donny Belles i believe also was he a set piece coach at some time things didnt work out.

Last season Whitehall looked like he could be a real asset, shithousery and all. This season his attitude and performances seem to have dropped off a cliff and (a couple of goals aside) I haven’t seen him do much of use or ‘play with a smile on his face’ in months. Most recently he’s looked like he’s doing little more than playing his contract out.
I think there are a few as well as Whall who are just playing out their contracts with little endeavour
WGs you are commenting like AB has already been relieved of his duties when he hasnt and more so probably wont be anytime soon.. if he scrambles a few points and stays in the top 10 i can see him being here until the end of the season at which point attendances will be circa 2k and all the goodwill built over the last 12 months we be gone.
With regard to Whall … never really rated him and his form has dipped but you can say that for every player except Fitz n Roberts
Billy Sharp has scored twice .. 1-1 @ full time , currently 2-1 to Donny late in extra time.
Hill & Dean had no previous links with the club.
Laws, Adkins & Alexander all did!
Not an exact science.
Wilcox n Cox also
I was just listing the successful ones IFA, although you could argue Wilcox was successful up to a point. Certainly Knill and Cox struggled and Butler is currently making a complete dog’s breakfast of it.
IMO our best managers have always been motivators. Don’t think we’ve had anyone who fits that description recently.
Agree .. good call i had forgotten about Knill .. maybe best his tenure was far from memorable.
Im not sure this fascination with bringing in (or back) managers and / or players with ties to club is good or bad but it does seem to get a lot of social media time.
I was really hoping AB succeeded alas its not going well .. i do still predict AB will be here until the end of the season scrambling the way to a 7th to 10th finish at which point he will be relieved of his duties, hope im wrong as sadly he really needs to go ASAP

The vid would not play for me on the club website but was fine going directly via Youtube.
