It’s not completely out of the question.

Also the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi Arabia, our great ally, quickly forgotten.
Would that be St Peter?

I’m not actually getting at you siderite, it’s just a general observation. As soon as anyone makes a negative comment about the powers that be in Israel they are accused of antisemitism, Netanyahu is very adept at using this.
Without adding to any conspiracy theories I actually do think the people in southern Israel were not served well, and from what I’ve seen, many of them think so too.I think the Herod in the bible is just an antiseptic trope, bearing in mind he was written after the supposed death of the Christ character.
“Antiseptic trope”. I liked that one.
Herod the Great, son of Antipater who was an ally of Julius Ceaser, friend of the Romans. Not a popular leader to his people.
My point still stands, is it antisemitic to criticise anyone in power in Israel?
Round em up then kill them, very efficient, where have we seen that before?.Notice how the right wing press again begin to call critics,”antisemites”?
Would it be antisemitic to criticise Herod the Great for the slaughter of the innocents?

I do wish he’d stop picking his nose though.
It’s gonna be a tough match and I would go so far as to say, if Tamworth win this I think they’ll go on to be league champs. They just keep winning and with that record, would be deserving of the title too.
Reminds me of *that* game against Oldham in 2007. We were neck & neck with them going into the game and that late Oldham equaliser, against our 9 men, with all the injustice of that match, really felt like a huge blow for our promotion hopes.
Yet fast forward to the end of the season and it was Oldham who never really recovered. They only got another 27 points in the final 20 games of the season, meaning we finished 16 points above them.
It just goes to show that, important as tonight is, nothing is decided in January.
Cleveland sent off, for goodness sake, hardly a dirty b******

I’m afraid we set a very bad example with our bombing in Iraq an Afghanistan trying to create a “new world order”.
It doesn’t work, it has never worked, and now everyone is at it.
We live in dangerous times. The world needs peace.
I noticed that Netanyahu is enthusiastic about a Trump presidency.‘They’ll lawyer up’ alright Iron Age. In the style of BOTH Trump and those who’ve initiated many lawsuits from amongst his opponents. Not sure why referencing him might be seen as some sort of clincher.
Unless its blindingly obvious that its an appropriate analogy ‘cos EVERYONE has absolutely the same assessment of Donald.. except of course for at least 50% of the US electorate.)
ps I feel ‘non football’ beckoning ..but I’m exiled from there because of posts like those one :)I was talking about justice, or lack of.
Money doesn’t shout, it bellows.Should be interesting to see the verdict and punishment, and if it’s comparable to Evertons. I suspect it won’t be.
Lots of dosh to back them up. They’ll just lawyer up Trump style.

Sometimes it’s worth a look back. Even then the truth is obscure.

I can’t believe that anyone listens to Hartley-Brewer, I suppose it is Talk TV though.
Not quite the same as when Nick Robinson told Boris to stop talking and let him ask a question.1 user thanked author for this post.
Barrie Thomas, without a doubt.
Doesn’t look like they’ve sold many so far .
At least 200 so far, all away transport sold out.
It doesn’t surprise me, they have a policy of bulldozing family homes and olive trees for even a minor misdemeanor by a family member.
There are those in Israel who would advocate the annexation of the West Bank and Gaza.
How about this then, let them, then give the whole population equal voting rights.Ah, but then there is Law 14 of the Israel Basic Law.
Oh well, just a thought.
He hadn’t heard.
Now you know that you are free.
In the meantime.
Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, reportedly called for the return of Jewish settlers to the Gaza Strip after the war and said Gaza’s Palestinian population should be encouraged to emigrate. “To have security, we must control the territory,” Smotrich told Israel’s Army Radio in response to a question about the prospect of re-establishing settlements in Gaza. “In order to control the territory militarily for a long time, we need a civilian presence.”
I take it you haven’t watched some Israeli TV news.
I’m against governments controlling media, judiciary and police. We see it in too many countries, including those who claim to be democratic, even here when our current government attacks our judiciary through the media.
Look back at the Ridley Plan to see how the Tories wished to use the state by underhanded methods.
It happens everywhere, including Israel. The Tories, who else?
They control most of the media and would dearly love to control all of it.
Talking of controlling the media, try looking at Israeli TV news.I’m pretty certain that this lot would love to control the media, hence the campaign against the BBC.
Or am I being un British? We used to moan at Joe Garner and Ivan Toney for needlessly falling down, it just becomes irritating after a while, especially when it actually would be of advantage for them to stay up.
Is it anti British to criticise our government? I’m sure they’d like to think so.
