I think most of us on this side JI will not bring your faith into it, it’s your position and you have discussed and defended it many times and I applaud you for that. Whilst I don’t agree with a lot of what you say I do respect your right to say these things and I am at a total loss why bill adopts this hostile attitude with you in the way he does. It would be a cheap shot if any of us justified our position on your faith through his actions, he comes across as very bitter sometimes and I know many Christians who are nothing like him in attitude. peterswann should go Humberside tomorrow or Look North and repeat the statement word for word, this would put the ball back in Hilton’s court despite certain sections of the statement showing peterswann in a very poor light which appears to show his judgement and business acumen in some issues to be extremely poor and amateurish.

If the peterswann statement is genuine ( we don’t know either way ) then he is firmly to blame through his own appointed advisors who appear to not know the difference between proof of funds and not enough funds. peterswann set these people a task and failed and yet he believed them to begin negotiations to sell the ground and land, this is another epic failure by a person who has been an unmitigated disaster for our beloved football club. He will not get off the hook after all the pain and anguish he has put the club’s supporters through these last few years. If the club goes under it is wholly his fault and his fault alone, the whole situation is completely intolerable.

Well the majority on this forum have always wanted more local people/ businessman/ women involved on the board, it happened under Steve Wharton and the club has never been run as efficiently for a club our size since. I welcome more local involvement.

I would also add that whether we like/ dislike Swann etc, have we all been fake account holders on here for so many years just waiting for the right time to like/dislike/ agree or trash the next owner of our club?. Quite bizarre the way social media is used sometimes and appears to have such a hold over certain people.
