Sembie Ferris was in the directors box on Saturday talking to various people during the match, wouldn’t have thought he was ready for a first team game yet, looked like he was on hospitality duty.

Agree both forwards should be starting together but whether JD will change the shape is up for debate. Agree Whitehall should get another go, you don’t base an opinion on a player after one game, rather like you shouldn’t judge the team after just two games but JD was right to sub Whitehall on Saturday IMO.

I think in fairness to JD the Whitehall substitution was to change things round up front because after the penalty miss ( which was a poor one and the follow up tap in he blazed over was even worse ) he just became poorer by the minute. Several missed chances and falling over his own feet when put through to score didn’t give the manager much choice, he had to change it.

Caught some coverage of the goals on the way home in the car, think they were Peterborough Sports commentators, describing the goals scored as by Scunthorpe United and Sports. Did not recognise either voice.

The guy stewarding the East car park had to be reminded by my mate which car park was which. After studying his car pass for twenty seconds he announced ” you want before over the other side for the East park mate” whilst pointing over to the West car park, we helped massage his brain whilst reminding him which park was which, the East park was two thirds full by this time so we weren’t the first arrivals 😂

We are a non league team and the owner is factoring all these problems into his budgeting, not an easy gig trying to make a football club sustainable, after all the previous owner ignored it and look where we are now as a result.

Think JD comes across as quite nervous in his interviews, it’s not everyone’s bag is it, probably prefers just working and communicating with the players and coaching staff but unfortunately PR comes within the role of team manager.
