If he’s a hit will he be dubbed Oil Baron, I mean Oli Baron?

I can already hear the cries of “That pass was fkng Bobby, Ewing”…

If he has a bad game I’m sure in the shower afterwards it will all seem like a huge dream.

That real EFL news story about the Iron signing Dubem Eze on a season long loan, wow they really do their research, they reckon Jimmy Dean is still our manager, lol.

He was good at spitting at opposition players and getting sent off but that was about it.

Missed the extra time winner as I was watching Neil Young’s Glastonbury set but what a great result for the young Lions and thoroughly deserved for their overall performances during the tournament. Always tough against Germany but it always feels good to beat them, well done young England.

Good first half in the final with England 2-1 ahead, Germany pulling one back in stoppage time but overall England have been better and could have been more in front, interesting second half in prospect, come on England.

England in the final, cracking game and two excellent finishes from Elliott, good opportunist equaliser from Netherlands who played their part in an entertaining game, England deservedly through.

Been enjoyable watch England U21’s the last week or so, entertaining stuff to knock out Spain last round and currently playing well against the Netherlands in the semifinal ( kiss of death no doubt ).

Harvey Elliott just scored a cracker for young England, hopefully final bound.

Interesting take on Trumps version of freedom of speech, he can say anything about anybody and it’s fine but he wants people criticising him shut down, very democratic way of running a country.

The final season ticket sales total should provide a good clue to next season’s average gate, would like to think a reasonable increase is on the cards after promotion.

Not sure when the shirts will be on sale but I hope they leave it till as late as possible because it appears to piss you off, which is always amusing, worth the entrance fee alone.

As a former schoolteacher I can’t condone it. £3,200 fine not enough.

Staff can’t just go off on holiday in term time. Really used to piss me off and still does.

No-one gives a shit anymore NI but TBF I reckon it’s a reaction to successive governments thinking the same.

Make that arenal de castle Ironawe,

Grandsons got the retro spew looking pleasure island shirt here amongst others, no cods but a couple of Chester fans. Plus plastic’s.

Grandsons picture on tuther side with his pool gear on, shame he couldn’t have a new shirt to bring, remind us when are they on sale NI.

You should teach your grandson patience is a virtue, he will be all the more thrilled when he eventually gets his hands on the new home shirt for next season, hopefully.

    FFS! Not this again?

Are we going on a pre-season tour of the Far East?

Naw but I hear Awaywego is going down Cleethorpes front tomorrow afternoon eating fish and chips whilst shouting ” we ate codheads “, guess he’ll just have to wear his old shirt and just get on with it

From memory from my seat in the main stand his boot stuck in the sandy crumbling service and the rest of his leg kept turning. Really nasty, won’t ever forget him shouting out in agony as he did it, the pitch condition was a massive influence on the injury IMO.

Did it mention the length of Dawson’s contract?, I don’t think it did, strange two players getting over the same injury although TBF to Dawson, ACL injuries in both knees one after the other is unbelievable bad luck, fingers crossed for both lads this coming season.

Yeah officially gone, thought he led the team well and his second half of last season performances were his best out of both seasons for the club IMO. Good luck Michael and thank you.

That is massive news, to only lose Fitz out the big three players from last season is great work by the club, be it slightly reduced terms on two year deals or just finding the money to do the deals, it’s just brilliant news for the club and all Iron fans.

Very good hope the lad progresses, he’s still very young and has a long way to go.

    Fishburn was released

Best of both worlds for him, he would have been paid up till the end of June but allowed to look for a club earlier, hope the lad gets sorted out he’s been given more time to do it.

Agreed we can’t wait any longer the club has a season to prepare for, let’s be knowing players wether you want to stay or not.
