April 12, 2025 at 10:49 am in reply to: Has Whitehall Played His Last Game For The Iron – Yes or No #302121Don’t think AB is taking anyone for a fool, Whitehall has played his last game for us IMO but to keep moral up Butler does not want to confirm it, basic football logic to keep opponents guessing but its no big deal again IMO, we should have enough to get promoted whether Whitehall plays or not.
That’s some long weekend!
More like a lost weekend in a hotel in Amsterdam a weedy weedy good place
Wow that injury list is massive, I know speedway is his entire life but he should really consider his future very seriously, he has a lot of life left to live without it being on a speedway bike, good luck lad.
Yeah we win all four, pretty straightforward really. Struggling to get this tounge out of my cheek
Clubs of all sizes want the oven ready chicken.
No one wants to rear, slaughter, pluck and prepare their own. That was always the beauty of beating the Cod heads, caught, gutted, filleted, battered, fried and eaten all in 90 minutes, yum yum lovely job.
You’d have thought being bikers they would have checked their nuts were properly tight before setting off.
Would be harsh on Fin to bring him back, not use him maybe just a sub, get promoted then release him at the end of the season. Never thought Fin got a proper chance under Butler and he will be gone at season end IMO, hope he stays at Spennymoor and does well for them next season.

Don’t agree with Butler having an extra keeper on the bench, JD did that against Boston in a must win game then went one up top with Whitehall in front of over 8000 fans, that worked out well didn’t it?

Aye but if you want automatic promotion these are the games you have to win, no excuses just go out and win the game, we will have had a week off they haven’t UTI.

Bloody Curzon promotion contenders my a*** just when you need a few Spennymoor players putting out of action for the next match. Well at least Shrimpton can’t play next game
2-0 home win.
Special hologram appearance by David Bowie I heard was the final act with digitally remastered live version of Gene Genie.
I’d take a piss poor point every time rather than none, never pleased when my team loses, Awaywego you get stranger by the the post!!!

Wonder if all those pig headed people are called Porky?
Listened to commentary. Two questions:
1) How many times did Kelly lose possession?
2) How many shots on target did we have? The answer my friend is blowin in the wind
The answer is blowin in the windwe aren’t winning 4 on the bounce – play off’s it is
Are Kidderminster and Brackley winning 4 on the bounce then? Few dummies being spat out tonight, I believe we are still top of the league, just an alternative view to the negativity.

I’m going for a 2-0 away win, a good steady professional performance please boys, no need for any headless chicken stuff we are the team in pole position.
Remember that Right Twix/Left Twix advert.
Set up 2 new clubs
One with SE, LT and DS in the boardroom, JD as manager
The other with MH, RR, SB in the boardroom, AB as managerWhich one has the sound of the snap when you bite into it?
April 5, 2025 at 9:33 am in reply to: Has Whitehall Played His Last Game For The Iron – Yes or No #301748Games can change in a heartbeat Awaywego you know that, Whitehall or no Whitehall, it is what it is.
Don’t hold your breath. Turnbull went with a terse official statement, then the Goat was sidelined on community day, FC100000 fiasco and now merch labs dropped like a stone. I can’t recall Roberts officially saying anything about anything and I’m not sure I’d even recognise him if he walked passed me.
He’ll be the one with a bag over his head looking the other way and whistling.

Nearly went a full week without a sideshow; feel sorry for Andy and the players who must be wondering what else is around the corner.
It’s the timing the board chooses to make these decisions which is the sickener, why couldn’t Goat/Merch labs be given the boot at the end of the year? Why was the FC100000 planned to be announced 6 weeks before the season end? Why has a festival been announced with 3 month notice ?
Some odd decisions/timings and all doesn’t appear well.
Yet, they manage to run their own businesses.
Why do they collectively appear to be so naive & incompetent running a FC?Well they aren’t the first people in football club history to do that are they TBF, not exactly unique to our club is it?

April 5, 2025 at 9:18 am in reply to: Has Whitehall Played His Last Game For The Iron – Yes or No #301744Yep said so weeks ago and TBF we haven’t really missed him that much, ten games he’s missed I believe and we are two points clear at the top of the league, what’s not to miss.
The Six Million Dollar Man would be the $39m man today.
How we’d love a free hit injection of $6m !
If we were watching Steve Austin today surely he’d be the $6.6 million dollar man?
Hope they do throw the kitchen sink at us, leaves more space in behind, we are good on the counter.

I was meaning the generational differences regarding what is good music now or not IFA, course there’s nowt wrong with your ears but the younger generation thinks you listen to crap compared to them it’s just how it is. Don’t think when it comes to music the kids today give a toss wether we like the majority of what they listen to or not.
We haven’t missed Whitehall and probably won’t next season, it’s Roberts and Fitz we will miss.

Maybe its just me but music today is absolute shite when compared to the 80s …isnt it ??
That’s because your an old man, happens too us all, the Who sang about my generation, I’m guessing the majority of youngsters these days would regard the Who as shite
Ask the person who shares their surname with a closed homewares store…
