Are some people seriously ignoring the fact that their player was also cheating? Both deserved to go for trying to get the other sent off IMO.
Excellent opportunity to progress to the next round IMO. I think we definitely need a decent run in this to be honest. I honestly can’t remember the last cup game we won.
Show us the evidence then……

All contracts started on July 1st. Nothing to see here…..
They got outclassed today but fair play to them for having a cracking cup run. It’s something we haven’t had in a very long time.
“Favourite” to takeover according to a lot of rumours…..
Can’t afford the stewarding and policing costs. Swann’s legacy right there.
Given that Swann didn’t pay this months wages, all of this is becoming very concerning IMO. If this deal doesn’t happen then the club will sadly come to an end IMO.
We’re now in such a mess even a potential takeover won’t save us from yet another relegation.

Such a shame really, it’s quite clear that he is just never going to be fit and that giving him a new deal was a bad move. In the small glimpses we have seen of him, he has looked promising and scored a couple of goals, but sadly we haven’t had anywhere near what we need from him and the decision to give him a new contract was/is a shocker.
I know the problems at this club are not his fault, but TD isn’t good enough to be a first team manager. He does a good job for the academy and that’s where he should be. It’s not fair on him that he has been thrown in at the deep end like this.

Nowhere near good enough IMO. I honestly think he’s worse than Watson…..

Enough is enough, Swann out, Hill out. That is all…..
And repeat………
No game is ever won before kick off….

Has Watson managed to get fixed up yet? We were told there would be loads of clubs queueing for his signature by some on here!
Nope and he apparently played for a Sunday league team the other week.
Congratulations to the England ladies team, they were superb throughout the tournament.

Confirmation of the test being passed. https://twitter.com/romfordiron/status/1552740265206726656
Nothing surprising here really. Already in another relegation battle for the upcoming season IMO.

Apparently it’s going to be a “fanzone” area for matchdays with several food and drink outlets going in.
Very very surprised at the amount sold to be honest. Things are still far from certain for the football club right now. However hats off and fair play to everyone who has bought a season ticket so far. Hopefully the club can be sold soon, resulting in the current 1,000 figure of sales, becoming 2,000+ holders and that we can go into the season with some kind of hope.
Not a penny more, SWANN OUT!!!!!!!!!!

I can no longer defend him after that interview on Humberside. Time to go Keith.

Two policemen came over to the main stand with a young lad hand-cuffed and then proceeded to take him to the exit gates, un-cuff him, put him outside, shut the gates and the police came back in. What followed was truly unacceptable. A heavily-built steward came rushing past us and was shouting and swearing in front of a very young child then opened the gates and went out after the young lad. A woman who was standing with a group outside said the steward had both his hands round the young lads neck, who was going blue in the face, and she had to intervene to stop him, also he was banged against a silver car which was parked in the first bay, which was subsequently damaged. The steward in my opinion was looking for trouble and had no reason whatsoever to follow the lad as the police had dealt with the situation. Absolutely disgraceful.
“also he was banged against a silver car which was parked in the first bay, which was subsequently damaged”.
That I am led to believe was Nathan Stanton’s car based on the tweets I have seen about it. Nathan of course wasn’t happy about it either…..
Not even an apology in the statement. Beyond pathetic.
Class post thank you very much. Lets hope we’re back having football league matches against each other again sometime. I never ever imagined Scunthorpe v Grimsby in the conference/national league. It still might not happen of course (if you win the playoffs)

Personally I think a big well done must be given to those who voiced their displeasure with what’s going on at the moment. Doing nothing and accepting it has happened for far too long. Plus the stewards again yesterday, let me tell you something they proper wind me up. They make all the effort in the world to stop home fans invading the pitch but do nothing when away fans invade the pitch. A load of Mansfield got on with no challenge at the end of the game yesterday. Yes the game had finished but that’s not the point.
What do you suggest then uptheiron99? Do we do nothing and allow this to carry on? When does it become acceptable to start voicing our concerns and demand change? When we drop to The National League North? Even lower than that? Not for me, the time for action from the fans is now.

Are you lot still wasting your time discussing this?
What do you want Swann to do? Talk to interested parties.. oh wait he already is!Is he though? Isn’t this the same Peter Swann that promised us a new stadium AND afterwards a redevelopment of Glanford Park? (Refusing to name it after the place in Blackpool) delivered on neither, so forgive me if I don’t actually believe him…..
